Welcome to the second visit to the Forgotten Hill Museum by FM Studio! Several years ago, Mr. Larson embarked on a long journey to uncover the secrets of Forgotten Hill, a place where nightmares become reality. He visited the Museum and after a thorough search of The Library, which revealed some secrets but far from all, he found his way to the Flora & Fauna Section. Will you go with him?
Three years ago, the paid game Forgotten Hill Disillusion was released as the fourth chapter of the main Forgotten Hill story (available on Steam). Two years ago, FM Studio released the first chapter of the game for free, and now we've got the second.
As you might expect, in the Flora & Fauna Section you will find a variety of bizarre animals and plants, whether you know them or are meeting them for the first time. Fortunately, you will also get detailed information about them, which will come in handy, because the very special lady standing here wants to catch her pet from you. Before you can get her companion into the cage, you'll have to solve quite a few puzzles, and not the easy ones.
Right from the start you get a camera that can capture the flip side of reality and/or nightmares...depending on your perspective. The camera is a great tool for playing, you'll use it many times and in addition to capturing hints, it can also help you navigate the layered reality of the Museum.
The atmosphere of the Museum is dark, but there is no danger or attack, and fortunately FM Studio refrained from puzzles that require quick reactions and nimble fingers.
Wishing you happy playing!

ack. I'd forgotten how creepy this game is!
Lovely as usual. I got hung up on the five colors puzzle:
The answer is exactly what it appears to be, but you have to switch the lower colors (rectangles) with the upper colors (dots) after getting both sequences entered correctly.
If you need those colors:
Take a good look in the last room to the right with the camera.
The framed insect drawings give you the color sequences.
The game froze on me when I used the camera in one of the rooms—the music kept playing, but it ignored my clicking on inventory or navigation arrows. If that happens, just give it a few minutes and it should recover.
Anybody know what that slamming sound was you keep hearing near the plants room?
