Atoms is a Flash puzzle game of elegant design that loosely borrows elements from Chemistry for the basis of its gameplay. Created by Florian Bliesch of Hamburg, Germany, the object of the game is simply to connect all of the separate atoms together to form a single molecule.
The interface is straightforward and intuitive: just drag and drop the various atoms near one another to fit them together. If the two pieces fit, they will attach themselves automatically. If they do not fit, they will not attach. It's just that easy. Continue fitting the pieces together until there are no unused bonds (stick-like parts) and no unused holes. A rule of play that may help you along the way: atoms of the same color do not attach together.
For each level you complete, the game will reveal a password that you can use to start again from where you left off. Therefore, your progress is not automatically saved.

The game is actually a bit easy. I didn't have any trouble whatsoever until the last level. The last level took me about 2-3 minutes but all the other levels went in about a minute or less.
Way too easy. The black dots, where you have to plug the dots into give it away.
I was sort of disappointed. Very easy.
Sorry to disappoint you, though I don't feel that I misrepresented the game at all.
It was very enjoyable for me, putting those molecules back together again.
Damn and I played this game earlier, should of suggested it. HAHHAHA, yes this game is fun for links and chemistry stuff :)
I found out a couple good techniques:
Put the atoms with no holes in them last
In the beginning of a level, dismantle EVERYTHING
I really liked this game, it was creative and origional, but mostly I played because I wanted to see what the next passwoerd would be. This guy obviously has some knowledge of chemistry and physics (and some biology); either that or he just cracked open a few textbooks and started jotting down words. Still, I think this game could have been made much more difficult with just a few small changes. Anyways... great game, Jay!

Everyone is entitled to their own likes and dislikes, and I certainly don't try to please everyone all the time.
this is an excellent little timewaster. a couple of them gave me a difficult time, but nothing so bad that i couldn't get past it in a few minutes, even with the flu, although cold medicine is making me a little loopy and didn't make this game any easier.
it would be nice if there were more levels.

I didn't know that was the last level, that's the one I'm on. I basically can't be bothered to actually sit and think it out, that's the only reason I haven't finished yet! xD
It might be fairly easy, but I really like this game, I think it's really fun!
I didn't actually even SEE the black holes in things until a few levels in, I was just dropping them where they would fit.. I can't even remember how I was doing it before. Lmao. But I suddenly realised there were black dots representing where the things could join up. That made things a bit easier to cope with. @__@';;

ive found this is good to come back to
that one was really fun! the last one was kind of hard, but once you start getting it, it all falls into place!
For the next version add on a challenge that would make it harder, lets say using different kinds of bonds such as covanlent and ionic bonds to make the game even harder. Otherwise the game was fairly easy. I got through it in like ten minutes.
It reminds me of a game Ambrosius did years ago. Same idea except with a timer, wild-card type atoms and such. It was on OS 9 so, i don't know if they upgraed it or not. Twas fun.
Question: are these actual models of molecules? Now, if we just dropped that little detail there could easily be a level editor. All the levels you could ever want, with varying difficulty. Question is, would you make then break a molecule or have bits to make one?

xdrngy (more to anyone else who comes after, as the comment is five years old), these are not models of actual molecules. The three-member rings that you see throughout the game are very unstable in actual molecules, and while technically possible are practically unfeasible.
