The level with the archer is a head-scratcher!
I was rather enjoying this as a nice little puzzle-ish game until the archer level. That just felt like an overly annoying pointless difficulty spike with a fair reliance on luck in timing/movements that felt out of place.
The archer level is dismaying indeed.
I lost count of how many times I tried the archer level (after figuring out how, in theory, it worked) before I quit without a backwards glance.
For those who have trouble with the archer level:
This level is much easier than it first seems to be. The electric on the ground will shock you if it reaches you, but the archer only shoots if it sees a balloon.
The way to get past the level is very easy:
Wait for the electric to make its way closest to your starting position.
Follow it towards the archer to about halfway, then wait for it to start coming back at you.
Click the balloon to safely float over the electric, then after it passes, turn back to normal and prepare to become a shield.
When the arrow is close to you, become the shield. The electric should be at the far left.
After the arrow has passed, turn back and hightail it to the right.
I agree, the archer level was much harder than the rest of the game.
