The night is dark and full of terrors. You are one of them. You cannot see, but you can hear, and though they may hear you coming, they will not be able to stop you. Because he deserves it. Hi Jeff. This is Firefox.

Great so it works :) Btw, I just met the same problem with my computer at home. It's important to clear the cache for loading the new scripts from the new server.

A save function would be nice -- having to repeat the same tricky steps over and over again becomes more of a grind than a pleasure.

How in the world do you get past level 6?

You can't

sneak past the monster, right? That forces you to run, so by the time you're at the spear, you've got three henchmen and the monster right on your tail.

That approach is dicey to say the least.

Power of posting!
Lvl 6:

Sprint past the monster and halfway down the corridor. Walk calmly past the three henchmen knowing there's a monster just a few paces behind you. Cooly pick up the spear, turn, and chuck it. Gulp.

The rest is easy.

does anyone else get a 'hunt the whumpus' feeling from this?

If you're like me, you may find yourself playing through this in hopes of unravelling the mystery woven out of the ambiguous and hinting dialogue of the two(I presume) characters. If this is the case for you, and you are unsure if the discovery will be worth the difficulty, here's my take on it:

It's not. If you aren't enjoying the gameplay, you're going to frustrate yourself holding out for the story, as there isn't one. You know as much from about level 2 as you're ever going to. There are no further revelations to uncover.

I'm stuck on level 2.

How on earth do I get back out of the closet after hiding? E just makes the door noise again. Clicking does nothing. I can't move.

Never mind, power of posting. In case anyone else is having trouble:

You have to press E and a direction at the same time. I feel dumb now. XD
