Stealing the Diamond
Breaking Banks can be nice, and Escaping from Prison can be satisfying, but diamonds are a stickman's best friend. And, wouldn't ya know it, the Tunisian Diamond is on display at Stickville Museum. It's night, so the usual rabble has gone home. So it's just a couple of guards standing in your way. With all your technology on-hand, they should prove no problem... Right? Ha. Ha. WRONG! Puffballs is back with Stealing the Diamond. And remember, what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger.

It seems to take quite a while to load, I left it for several minutes.
Very neat game with lots of replay value while trying to find all the choices you can make. It's not hard to grope your way towards victory since the game allows you to select a choice at a decision point over and over till you progress, but some of the medals are a bit harder to get.
The ones I've found...
TLDR medal :
In the wall of author's text when you use Portal Gun in the Sneak in path, there is a line that says something like "If you want a medal, click here", click the here
Like a D6 :
When you select the jumping boots (first choice after picking sneak in route), you "lose" 2 points. Do this 3 times.
01100010 :
In sneak in route, at the choice where you're given a pokeball, you'll be given a screen with a lot of Windows-like error messages with Ok boxes. Not too sure, but I think you have to click at least one of the Ok boxes.
Obscure medal :
Littered around the game are paintings which you can click on. You must click on all of them to get this medal.
Two are in the Aggressive route... When you smash into the building on your scooter, they're hung on the walls, but they zip by very quickly so you have to be fast about it.
Three are in the Epic route.
One at the screen where you have to handle two guards, with the choice between a gun, a plane, and a bombshell.
One at the screen where you're given the pokeball choice.
After hitting the last choice (where the robot crashes on the museum), right after it flashes to your character and away, for a second or so there is a blue painting lying on the ground in the room, before it's obscured by debris. Click it quick.
One is in the Undetected route, right after you nab the diamond, where the two guards are.
I got BUNP somehow, still trying to get the 40 unique fails and joke one.
Stealing the Diamond Walkthrough
Paths to the three endings:
(Note: Every possible choice you can make at each branch is shown. The option in bold is the one that you want to choose to get to the next step. If one of the options is "Wait", that means you can fail by not making a decision in time. Use the non-bold options as a checklist if you're looking to maximize your FAIL collection.)
Bust In: (Aggressive ending)
Kick / Ram / Jump / Wait
Lance / Shield / Mace / Wait
Tow Cable / Basket / Wait
Branch / Rock / Wait
Bubble / Sticky Grenade / Wait
Drive / Diamond / Bribe / Wait
Sneak In - top three options: (Undetected ending)
Jumble Hoppers / Anti-Gravity Cap / Teleporter
Penny / Tranquilizer / Falcon Punch / Invisibility Pill
Drop / Wire / Portal Gun
Laser Cutter / Hammer
Cannon / Cheese / Plank
Snap Neck / Diamond / Rifle / Jump
Sneak In - bottom three options: (EPIC ending)
Shrink Ray / Pick / Liquidificator
Gun / Plane / Bombshell / Wait
Up / Left
Metroid / Crowbar / Pokéball / Super Mushroom
Divide By Zero / Nuke / Mecha / Satellite
Medals:
The ending medals are self-explanatory, as are the FAIL medals. So I'll cover the others.
Like a D6
After picking "Sneak In", pick the Jumble Hoppers. Do this three times.
BUNP
On the Undetected route, pick Snap Neck instead of Diamond.
01100010
On the EPIC route, pick Pokéball instead of Super Mushroom. Then when the dialogue boxes start popping up, try to close as many as you can by clicking the OK buttons. One of them will give out the medal.
It's a joke guys
...I'm sorry, I still haven't found this one yet.
Obscure Medal
Click on all the paintings in the game. Here's a list:
-"Zeus - Rage" - Spy it by the exit during the Undetected or Aggressive route.
-
"NO U - Luigi" - In the background towards the left during the Super Mushroom choice on the EPIC route.
-
"Angry Hitler" - On the wall during the Plane choice on the EPIC route.
-
There's one during the EPIC route during the cutscene after the final choice, not long before the hero decides to make a break for the exit. You have to be quick to get it before a piece of rubble falls on it.
-
A painting of a pear with a mouth (no, seriously) is by the entryway to the medieval section that our hero whizzes into during the Aggressive route.
-
Shortly after the pear on the Aggressive route, there are two paintings on the wall before the options for the Shield choice pop up. Be prepared to retry quite a few times, since they whiz by quickly and are hard to click on.
???
On the Undetected route, pick the Portal Gun instead of the wire. Then read the FAIL message carefully.
XD
I like the *cheese* option.
Wait...just WHAT did that accomplish.
Fwahahaha. And now I'm trying to go through and use EVERY option!
But...what's with the *crowbar* option?
Are those "head crabs"?
Lessons learned:
Muscle cars are awesome. Muscle Segways are not.
Worms are much more vicious up close.
The creator of this game loves memes.
IMA FIRIN MAH LAZARRRR!
(I couldn't resist)
Chaos meter registering 10.6!
Really? That's over NINE-... Um, just press a button.
For SonicLover's reference on the Obscure medal:
The pear with the mouth, made famous by the "LOLWUT" meme, is the Biting Pear of Salamanca by Ursula Vernon. You can see the original artwork here.
Oh man I loved BUNP because
Before the end of the death showed up I said "It keeps happening!" And then the end said "I told you man, I TOLD you about stairs!" And then BUNP and 8^y and SW&HJ are awesome and seriously.
And this game is really awesome, and about a week or two ago I was just HOPING the next Xing the Y game would come out soon. It's only made better by the large number of memes.
I can't seem to get the Obscure Medal, even though I'm sure I clicked all the paintings. I got the one in the Epic ending (saw the checkmark and everything), the Luigi, the Angry Hitler, and the Zeus for sure, and I'm fairly certain I got the two before the shield option -- I definitely saw one register, and I've clicked at the other so many times while mousing over it one had to count.
0kay, what's with the 2 ads in front of the game? 1 is bad enough, though understandable. Also, the first ad (for Air Wick) had a little bar in the bottom corner stating "This advertisement runs for 1 seconds" which is obviously false.
I haven't even gotten to the game yet, and I've already considered passing on it because it took me over a minute to get to it.
[I've added a new ad that will only appear once in a while. It's either that or give up on the site because expenses keep increasing while revenue is decreasing. Free browser games are ad supported and we don't make anything on the in-game ads, that revenue goes to the game developers. So, please be patient and support our efforts here to continue to bring you compelling content. Besides, you are forced to watch so many more ads than this, and several times even, during just about any television show. -Jay]
cr: Aside from following SonicLover's walkthrough LAST at each step (i.e. if it says "throw the pigeon", do everything else at that scene before throwing the pigeon), there are a couple of fails you can only get
by doing nothing; eventually something'll happen that will make you pay for being such a (Pokedex entry #079).
To get all 40 endings, make sure you choose ALL the choices.
Some fails only occur after waiting a while. These are:
Kick / Ram / Jump / Wait
Lance / Shield / Mace / Wait
Tow Cable / Basket / Wait
Branch / Rock / Wait
Bubble / Sticky Grenade / Wait
Diamond / Drive / Bribe / Wait
and
Gun / Bombshell / Airplane / Wait
(you can turn up your speakers to listen to their conversation)
wooo!!! a portal reference AND a minecraft reference! possibly my two favorite games... but there really should be a nice long "sssssssssssssSSSSS" before the explosion.
btw, the "epic" ending could have been a lot more epic if the guy had actually turned around and fought and destroyed the giant robot to reclaim the diamond.

Congratulation You Got The Fail Champion Medal
Three people before me have already asked about a problem they're having with the keyboard controls not working, but no one seems to have a clue what's wrong. Clearly, it's possible for some people to get past the first part of "busting in", but there are those of us who want to play and can't. Jay, do you have any ideas about what might be wrong?
If anyone else is having problem with the keyboard not working. For me it was my browser. On Chrome it doesn't seem to work, but it did with regular Internet Explorer.
[There is a bug in the current version of Chrome that prevents keyboard interaction with Flash games. Until the issue is fixed, please us a different browser. -Jay]
i found the joke medal
you will get this medal if you click on the liquidificator and when the instructions apear on the bottom part of the page it says in small letters: "Note: the ROFLco is not responsable for any mispeled word or words used in the wrong context" if you can see the word misspeled is misspeled and if you cilck in that word you will gain the medal
As the story says in Stealing The Diamond Unblocked, the cheese got stolen.
