Papa's at it again, sneakily tricking you into running his latest venture... a pancake house! It doesn't matter if you're inexperienced, the customers are at your door and you're going to have to learn that griddle on the fly. Build towers of fluffy golden goodness and decorate them with delicious toppings, earn new items for your menu OR for your shop, and even play a variety of mini-games. It's another dose of the time management action you've come to love from the Papa's series, with all the breakfast artistry you could possibly want. Now I'm hungry...

Papa's Pancakeria Tips and Tricks

  • There is NO PENALTY for discarding food, which isn't very realistic, but whatever, take advantage of it like so:

    • Go ahead and start things going before taking the first order. If you know the first order is going to order 3 pancakes, great, put on 3 pancakes, but if you're not sure, just put on a bunch of everything.

    • When dealing with the closer, try to make double their order, so that if you make a mistake in building, you can trash it and start again immediately.

    • Just in general make extras and toss the less-perfect ones!

  • All customers order the same thing every time except Jojo the food critic. This is important to know for one of the mini-games, so check the customer file frequently.

  • The target aiming system makes spreading toppings much easier in this game. Keep in mind that some toppings last longer than others; for example, chocolate chips are rather generous. So some toppings will cover more of the dish than others, and therefore you should draw a larger spiral.

  • Don't try to do an entire customer at once; that is, don't do everything for number one, then do everything for number two, etc. You need to work on several orders at once to be able to be efficient.

  • Organize your tickets when you are taking orders or presenting orders to customers, because you can't do anything else during that time. Organizing tickets at other times is a waste of time.

  • Symmetry/evenness is critical to your building score, but the game is pretty fair about it and doesn't mandate an axis. That is, if you have to put two banana slices on a pancake, you can put them on either a horizontal line or a vertical line from each other, and the game will count either as even placement.

  • You don't have to take things from the top of the stack. If you have both french toast and pancakes in your stack, for example, you can select just the french toast, regardless of where it is in the pile.

  • You don't actually have to have the order ticket up while you're making the order. If you know the order well-enough (like Rico's choco-fest) you might find it faster to make it from memory and simply grab the ticket when you've got it finished.

The aiming target is a brilliant addition. Really helps in the building section.

Now I want pancakes.

I simply had to vote 5!
The Papa's games are incredible time wasters.
The ice cream episode was a bit bland IMO but all the other games were just awesome.
This is another great addition.
Love it!

That is a huge help, thanks!

I have mixed feelings about this latest edition. On the one hand they have made some great improvements to the game play but on the other hand the inter-level ads are a bit annoying...

What happens when you get all the stars on a certain mini-game?

Reply

@Merie

Each star represents a different prize that you can get playing that mini game. So once you have gotten all the stars you have gotten all the stars you have gotten all the prizes, so you get repeat prizes.

Well, at first it was entertaining but I'm still stuck in Rank 18 and I'm getting pretty bored already since it's a very loooong game. Thought it was gonna stop Day 20 or something. :D Do you guys know when papa Louie will come back? Lol

mini games guide part 1:

spin-n-sauce

try to stop the power meter at the top. doing so wins you a prize. the higher the power the better your prize. the numbers indicate how many cents you get if you land on it. the more times you win the faster the power meter moves

pizza panchiko

this game is purely luck. click to drop the ball. the star is the prize, the 100 is $1 and the 50 is $.50.

blender ball

once again numbers=cents and the star=prize. click the power just before it reaches the desired amount, then click again when the ball is directly across from the circle.

hallway hunt

place your mouse right under the customer's eyes and move it around with him/her. feel free to take your time when choosing the door as there is no time limit

that's all i know and am good at so i'm leaving it to other users to make a guide for the rest.

So, do any of these Papa Louie games actually have endings, or do they just keep going until you get sick of them?
