Jumping Line
It's hard to be 2D in a 3D world, which you'll soon find out if you play this austere little platformer from Henning Steinbock. But don't let the minimalist atmosphere lull you into a false sense of security, because you'll need to do all your best wrist exercises from that mandatory carpal tunnel workshop your boss made you attend last spring if you're going to be limber enough to keep this line on track to ultimate victory. Jumping Line is a great example of a simple idea done well that will appeal to all the oldschool gamers out there who don't need a lot of bells and whistles to have a good time and break a satisfying gamer sweat.

Newb question, am I supposed to see a line ?
Because I do not see anything except blocks below me ... but I accept I may be missing the point ..(or line)
I played this over the weekend and had a blast. If you don't see the line try updating your Unity player. I played on Chrome, you have to hit + to get rid of any zoom you have going on and it should work for you. 5 stars from me for this game!!!
Ophthalmologist. That is all.
This is so much fun! These spiny spiky blocks are killing me, though.
great game... would have appreciated some indication of how far away the end was though!
Interesting idea, but I think this one's about 3 mushrooms, mostly because there's too much waiting for things to "reset" when you mess up. On some challenges, it can take as much as 45 seconds before things are back in place to make another attempt at a section. Ideally, I think this would be more enjoyable if moving platforms would reset back to a default starting position when you get knocked back to a checkpoint instead of having to wait several seconds for them to move back into place so you can make another attempt. Maybe I'm just impatient, but it annoys me to have to do nothing for several seconds while waiting to attempt something again.
Nice... if you finish the game 20 times in a single sitting there's a cool boss battle...
Wow, that was incredible.
I absolutely loved this game. The idea is so fresh and simple; yet the game was also challenging. The music was top notch as well. I was quite addicted and thoroughly satisfied.
I'm with Regy..very good game. I normally hate platformers--they are by far my least favorite game genre. This one was so good, I didn't even realize I was playing a platformer--the puzzle aspect so far outweighed the things I normally dislike about the genre, that this game is getting 5 mushrooms from me!
I really wanted to like this. But I basically waited over a minute for a platform to move into place, and it didn't, so I just gave up. Also, there is no way to return to the main menu without refreshing. Perhaps I just need to update some things?
I got to the underwater stage and to the part where there are blocks above and below each other and you had to jump from one to the next. I found it very frustrating in places and at the spot mentioned, I got bored and closed the game.
It's a good idea, but it's very long.
Would have been better if the promo was in a different spot, just as the game got more interesting and difficult there are words to read and distract. The promotion would have been better earlier or later at a slower time or at the end.
Still gets a 4
