J-J-Jump
The second entry into Nitrome's experimental 50x50 pixel game series is J-J-Jump, a fast-paced platformer with a subtle kiss of puzzle goodness. You've got to scramble up a tower of obstacles to escape the rising flood waters, but you're only allowed to jump five times! You can pick up extra jumps along the way, but can you ration your jumps quickly enough to make it out alive?

Thanks, Steve! That song will be stuck in my head f-f-forever.
Oh Nitrome... why do you hate my eyes so much?
Pffff, I was just thinking that the difficulty is ramping up nicely, but then I ended up in the last (presumably) jumping part of the last level which is got me TOTALLY friggin' frustrated... still trying though.
Ok, quit now, sorry, but if a part of a level takes me 30, 40, 50 times of trying without getting me one step further and then after THAT part there's another 'surprise' getting me killed, I quit. Although the first 9,5 levels were pretty neat, this is just too much, at least for me, sorry Nitrome ;-) Still gave it 4 stars though.
LEVEL 10. OH MY SWEET JESUS.
Nearly made it to the flag after, like, 50+ tries. Ran out of jumps. My flat mate actually came to check if I was ok after the anguished scream I let out.
Any game that manages to elicit that amount of adrenaline and emotion in such a small space gets a 5 star rating from me.
Only 2 parts took me a significant amount of time: a part of level 6 (I think) and of course the endrun on level 10.
Short but sweet. And addictive music. :)
