    • Open the glass door and take the green can of BUG SPRAY on the bottom shelf.

    • At the top, a circular symbol has an arrow pointing to a heart.

    • In the middle, a triangular symbol is pointing to a brain.

    • At the bottom, a diamond symbol is pointing to a battery.

  2. Next, examine the robot on top of the left table, then take the detached METAL ARM beside it.

  3. Back up and click the right table to zoom in.

    • Study the symbols from the note on the table. Each symbol points to a specific number.

      • If you follow the arrows, you'll see the triangle points to 1, the yin-yang points to 4, the square points to 2, and the bars point to 3.

    • Open the door at the front of the canister to find a BLUE ROSE.

  6. The wall will split open after the correct combination has been entered, allowing you to move into the back room.

  7. Attach the METAL ARM and METAL LEG to the missing limbs of the sitting cyborg in the room.

    • The cyborg will first lift the cover on the left, revealing a CRESCENT SHAPE on the pedestal.

    • After you take that, he will then lift the cover on the right, allowing you to also grab an EYE SHAPE.

    • Select the two shapes in your inventory and combine them together to make a DISC SHAPE.

  8. Move back twice to return to the corridor, then click the second door on the left to enter Room 437.

Room 437

The music adds A LOT to this.

I played this about a year ago, but never finished it. Just wasn't enjoying it enough to continue. Thought I would give it another shot, but ... sorry, nope.

While the artwork is really cool, it just too much of a big random pixel hunt to me. Each room is sort of like playing a game of Where's Waldo ... if you have no clue what Waldo looks like.

To me at least, that isn't fun.

It seems i am missing one item

the item that goes in the triangle slot

I also have the

three button remote control (I think I have the code for it already)

unused. Where should I be looking?

Got it. Nevermind.

Except with less gore. I over-thought one of the early puzzles; otherwise smooth sailing. I did want to linger, though. The art is just fantastic. Love it! It is much like Submachine, in that the madness is internally consistent. Any red herrings are just part of the mise-en-scne. Then again... I like art that forces you to look at it.

Pretty wild. I had it all but the last little bit. Thanks Trinn

Neat game. Soon after it started I agreed with Dora on it being difficult to find relevant objects. But in the end I didn't have trouble finding anything, the puzzles took some thinking but nothing frustrating. Surprisingly good.

As Andrew said, the music by Oliv Kronsilds really is fantastic in this (and I usually don't care much about music in point-and-click games). There were rooms that I didn't want to leave, just so I could groove on the music loop a bit longer, and the way the sound layers build makes it all pretty much WHOA by the end. I may actually need to play again with headphones.

Art was great also, and I didn't have as much trouble as I expected finding the items and clues I needed. Could stand to be a bit longer, but this is really top-notch.

The art is just wonderful. Usually I hate pixel-hunting, and I did have to use the walkthrough because I couldn't find one item,

the bug spray

, but this is a case where I didn't mind a bit.

Reply

Pixel hunting at its worst.
You literally have no clue what you can interact with.
I hate this kind of games, even when, like in this case, the art is really wonderful.

Reply

Press tab to highlight clickable objects.

Reply

I'm not sure I'd even count this as pixel hunting - just that there are a lot of things that could be clicked on. Loved this!

Reply

my first escape game I solved with little help. at the end I thought I screwed something up but I ended up winning.

Reply

Holy cow, I completed the game with zero help, in spite of the total lack of changing cursor and myriad things that could be clickable but aren't.

There was a bit of a red herring, though:

After inputting the 4-digit code and getting the color code for the remote, there's also a 4-dial readout that I made a note of. Toward the end of the game, there are 4 dials that I thought I would have to set, but apparently not.

Reply

I hate pixel-hunting, but I did not find that to be an issue once I got the gist of what was needed to complete the game. The music and art are fantastic, just like the last game of this creator that was featured on this site (the one with exploring ancient ruins for loot!). I hope there are more games to come!

Whoa! That rocked!! I haven't played an escape game that fun in a really long time.

I love that the designers humbly included a "music off" button ... but I can't imagine playing this without the soundtrack. I love how it varies in different rooms and builds to a gleeful climax.

The animation was terrific too! A perfect pairing.

BTW, I'd much rather pixel-hunt than do a bunch of insane math problems. Escape games used to be about finding and using everyday objects, with a *single* password thrown in ... adding math just ruins the fun for me.

Reply

Awesome artwork, awesome music!

To me, pixel hunting is when you have to click on a random spot on a large blank surface, with no indication that there would be anything there at all.

I don't really consider it to be pixel hunting when the graphics are so rich that you actually want to click on everything. There are so many little details in this game that I wanted to examine everything thouroughly, anyways!

This has one of the BEST ENDINGS I have ever seen for an ESCAPE game!
I think ALL of Jo99's games are INCREDIBLE.
However, one thing confuses me about the negative reviews I see sprinkled down the screen: WHY are so many people complaining that they have to CLICK when they have made a conscious decision to sit down in front of their computer and play a POINT AND CLICK game? LoL!
It is almost humorous seeing so many players belly-ache about the possibility of getting a click-finger-cramp.
NOTE TO CLICK-O-PHOBES: Just as Slothrop mentioned above, if you get stuck and are tired of exploring the old fashioned way, you can

click TAB repeatedly to highlight each clickable area.

I personally consider this cheating and I think that it takes all the fun out of exploring Jo99's alien landscapes...
