Happy Dead Friends Walkthrough

Gameplay

Different Creatures and Terrain

  • Zombies: These are the nicest of the bunch, willing to move their arms toward other characters.

  • Skeletons: Less friendly. You have to manually click their arms to move them and there's no flexibility, the arms stay where you shift them.

  • Frankensteins: These guys like to be left alone so place them somewhere far from other characters to make them happy.

  • Ghosts: Ghosts are scary and thus prevent the other friends from being happy. Keep ghosts away from all other characters.

  • Rocks on squares mean nothing can be on that square and no arms can reach around it. It's an unfortunate obstacle.

  • If a friend is locked with chains it means it can't be moved and you'll have to link hands around it.

  • If there is a heart on a spot any friend placed there will be automatically happy, whether holding hands or not.

better than it might first appear.

premise is not new but well done, sound fx could be annoying but strangely are not. soundtrack itself is oddly mellow, of all things--kinda sorta jars w/ the underlying theme & scheme [which is, of course, none other than death] but works well w/ actual gameplay. graphics could be better but it's not really necessary [& probably would annoy non-designers less than this type thing always does me]. it's probably more a 4 or 4.5 star game but i like to err on the side of niceness whenever possible so i gave it a 5. it's pretty gripping for what it is. yeah.

ps. the further along you get into it, the [unexpectedly] harder it gets. at that point you might wanna get some relief from the sound effects before yr concentration drifts too far into strangling the curious little cartoons that make up this game!
