Flooded Village is a charming new puzzle game by Yoeri Staal with art by Pixelchunk that will be sure to fill your daily pirate-themed puzzle needs for the day. To advance through each stage, you'll have to channel water past plants and through pirates, without drowning the poor village bystanders. Featuring 30 levels with cute graphics and a pleasant, if slightly repetetive soundtrack, it manages to be a relaxing, yet complex game, that will have you playing village engineer for most of an afternoon.

How do you keep the water, etc. from freezing?

Reply

Either don't let it touch the ice, or have only a frozen bridge as access.

It's a drag that the game will tell me what I did wrong... but then fail to show the resulting game board. Which prevents me from fixing what I did wrong.

I agree with Shudog. Not only when you do something wrong though, but you don't get to see the resulting screen even when you complete a level. This makes trying to see what you need to do to squeeze out another star or two harder. I almost gave up getting trying to get three stars out of level 3-6 so that I could play the final "S" level.

The game would have gotten another star from me if it hadn't been for this.

Other than that, great game.
