Those orcs with paired axes seem WAY too powerful.
[Yeah, it took me a while to get past them and a fair amount of repeating previous villages to earn the experience points to make my units stronger. After the orcs though things are a ton easier. If you replay earlier towns you can earn more xp and get more upgrades for your army.-Meaghan]
Yeah, now that I have them in the Library it seems pretty clear that their base attack (or HP) is too high to be balanced if they're attacking twice as fast.
Sun god priests are (according to their text) supposed to heal everything in their lane a certain amount of HP per second, but they don't seem to actually work like that.
On the first few levels that you face those orc berserkers, you can pretty much ignore them. just send your other units down the lanes that don't have berserkers.
Or, if a berserker is heading a large enemy column, wait for it to walk off your side of the screen, then send your units in on that lane to crush the weak ranged units behind it.
Early- to mid-game, you will unlock assassins, which are cheap, and have a 10% chance of killing the enemy unit when they attack, and a 10% chance of dodging attacks. For the rest of the game, just spam these guys to win easily, and only get upgrades that either increase gold production, or benefit light sword infantry.
I found the double axe guys can be beaten with a legionnaire and two skirmishers or three archers, but it was still tough. I had to wait till they came and attack them one by one.
