10 Gnomes in Liege
10 Gnomes in Liege is pretty short, but that doesn't mean that you'll only spend ten minutes playing. Try it and you might get hooked, going back over and over again to admire the stunning black and white photography of the city whilst you try to ferret out every last gnome before time runs out.

I always enjoy these! But I find myself wondering... do people look suspiciously at the maker, like "why is this person taking close-up shots of my table legs and old cardboard box?"
Aquilegia -
That would be my response. :-)
no, because I usually make those pictures in complete solitude. Like really early in the morning or in desolate places.
cheers.
I can only find 8 gnomes
and 1 troll.
Found a ninth. Where's that last blasted gnome? I've played 7 times.
Found all ten!!! First time without a walkthrough.
I found all ten! But I wonder
how many trolls there are
?
I found one at
the top of the fountain, are there more?
Grinnyp, and all you gnomophobes out there: never, ever, EVER watch this Graham Annable video:

gnomes scare you hey? Didn't happen to go to a Waldorf School did you? Just wondering.
another timer, it doesn't make it 'exciting', it just turns me off, otherwise it appears to be a well put together experience. but resetting after 10 minutes just annoys me and makes me stop playing
Nice!
For your information : Liege is a city in Belgium ^^
Anyone posting a walkthrough anytime soon? not being able to find all of the gnomes is bugging me :/
@Hewitt OMFG, that vid freaked me out.
Here's what I've found:
Gnome 1: Right side of flower box on wall under Madonna
Gnome 2: Right from there, in hole to left of door
Gnome 3: Right from there, left side of right flower box outside window
Gnome 4: Right from there, in hole on mailbox on door behind cafe tables
Gnome 5: Right from there, in cardboard box
Gnome 6: Right from there, in left flower pot against painted wall
Gnome 7: Right from there, one step into alley, in crack low on wall to the right
Gnome 8: Further into alley, between white board and wall to the right
Gnome 9: Further into alley, in whole in wall next to grate to the right
Gnome 10: Farthest end of alley, in cigarette pack next to litter
Troll on top of fountain in front of cafe tables
And:
I have a feeling there's at least one more troll
Being my first foray into the "10 Gnomes" series, I have to admit that I really like the atmosphere these games have...so much so, in fact, that I got rather wrapped up in just checking the place out at such a leisurely pace that I only found 3 of the gnomes before even realizing that it had a time limit.
If I might make a suggestion for future installments, it'd be to switch the time limit out for a timer; rather than seeing how many I can find in 10 minutes, I'd rather see how long it takes me to find all 10, because I could seriously spend all day wandering around these places.
Definitely gonna have to check out the rest of the series now, though. Between this and the Submachine games, you've got quite a mastery of mood-setting, Mr. Skutnik.
I agree with a lot of the other commentators - this is a really nice little game, but the timer is totally unnecessary, and really annoying. without the timer i would spend more time playing.
Timers suck. I enjoyed this and I'd find them all, but I don't want to have to replay and find the same ones all over.
@Hespetre
I can't find the area you indicated in clue #9. Are the directions you gave correct or could you be a little more specific? All the other clues were dead on. I've been playin this game off and on for 3 days and would like to find them all.
@Hespetre
Nevermind. Found him. Thanks.
@elbottso ok.
I deliberately wrote clues rather than "click right twice" etc.
I like that there are timers on these, even though I usually don't like timers. It makes the experience last longer as you usually have to try more than once. After a few tries you remember where the gnomes are.
Ugh, that vid was creepy. Whether or not you like gnomes to begin with.
