SpellPix From mobile puzzle maestro Kris Pixton, SpellPix is a new take on the path-drawing logic puzzle seen in games like HUEBRIX or Conceptis' Link-a-Pix. The idea is to connect the marked letters to an identically marked letter somewhere else on the grid. The path can snake around as much as it likes, but it has to be unbroken. In SpellPix, each grid square has a letter, so with every pair of letters you match up, you'll also spell a word.

Icebreaker: A Viking Voyage Kraken Pack More Icebreaker, anyone? Nitrome has released the Kraken Pack for its slice-based physics puzzle mobile game Icebreaker: A Viking Voyage. It also contains 40 new levels, bringing the total number of stages to just over 140. Android users finally have their chance to cut blocks on their devices, as the Kraken Pack also marks Icebreaker's debut on the Google Play marketplace. No downsides, just ice slides!

Created by Niffler, a team of indie developers that happens to include the original creator of Chip's Challenge Chuck Sommerville, the multi-platform sokoban-like game takes the tile-based puzzles from the original release and updates it for modern players. You'll still deal with slippery ice floors, falling platforms, enemies marching back and forth, and a large supply of items to collect before you can open the door. But now you'll do it with full camera control and lots of pretty visuals!

Disco Zoo Ever wanted your own zoo but were concerned it didn't have enough swanky funk style? NimbleBit, the creators of Pocket Planes, along with Milkbag Games (featuring Matt Rix of Trainyard fame) know that feeling all too well. Disco Zoo is a casual puzzle and simulation game that combines simple logic diversions with too-cute visuals that's perfect for mobile devices. Pick up and play, put it down and party.

Play to Cure: Genes In Space Cancer research isn't a topic that comes up too often in the world of gaming, mostly because it's slow and tedious work. That's why Cancer Research UK teamed up with Guerilla Tea to help make it more interesting. In Play to Cure: Genes in Space, you're a star pilot and your goal is to collect as much Element Alpha as you can. It's easy to forget when plotting your course and destroying asteroids that you're also helping to save lives.

Card City Nights You've just moved to a unique town that's got one thing on its mind... card games! In this engaging blend of strategic collectible card battling and quirky adventuring, the great Card King is finally accepting battles, but you'll need to find eight legendary cards to even get a chance at him... and build a deck of 180 different cards in the process!

Horse Jump Horse Jump is a simple logic-driven puzzle game created by RatoLibre1. It utilizes a board with colored and marked squares alongside matching tokens you can click to manipulate. Each piece moves like a knight in chess, that clever little L-shape that works so well in puzzle games. Touch each matching square on the screen to progress to the next level. Do it flawlessly and within the move limit to earn a perfect score!

Threes! Say hello to Threes. It will say hello to you many, many times, and you'll be thrilled each time it does! The minimalistic puzzle game from the team behind Puzzlejuice, Asher Vollmer and Greg Wohlwend (Solipskier team Mikengreg) is as stylish as Gary Cooper and as addictive as watching Gene Wilder sing Puttin' on the Ritz. The key difference is Threes is brand new and available for iOS, whereas those other things, sadly, aren't.

Dawn of the Plow Finally, a game that accurately portrays the plight of the snow plow driver! Dan FitzGerald's Dawn of the Plow is an arcade game that's all about clearing piles of snow out of the road so cars can make it home safe and sound. It's as simple as bumping into the drifts while careening around the board, but no goofing off or you'll be fired. Seriously, you will.

She jumps from globe to globe in three different eerie worlds, avoiding all manner of monsters and freeing white bunnies along the way. Strange? Yes. Wonderfully atmospheric and surprisingly challenging? Absolutely.

Treasure Maps Yarr, me hearties, it's time for a game about pirates! The pirates of Treasure Maps are a smart and logical sort, and they love puzzles and treasure. Help them find the buried treasure in this logic game that mixes sudoku and picross. With more than 350 levels, it's challenging to play and fulfilling to solve.

Farm Heroes Saga The makers of Candy Crush Saga serve up another dangerously addictive free match-3 arcade game for iOS and Android with a farming theme and power-ups galore. Though gorgeous, charming, and casually fun, the same old microtransaction and timer problems will hobble the experience for some.

Loot Hero The kingdom needs a hero to slay a dragon, but you need cash a lots of it! In this simple arcade action RPG, you'll charge through five levels of enemies, nabbing all the coin they drop and using it to upgrade your equipment. Though definitely short and nearly TOO simple, great visuals and simple fun still make it addictive while it lasts.

Pixel Room At first, you can't make out much in this escape-the-room game from Kotorinosu. Could this thing be a door? What are these green squarish things you've found, almost by accident? Yet, if you manage to solve the puzzles and survive the pixel hunts of this room, details come into being. You'll be that much closer to success.

Hungry Cat Picross There's no feeling quite like that moment when you first realize the solution to a puzzle, and Hungry Cat Picross provides that hundreds of times over. Not only does it provide an innovative twist on the picross genre of logic puzzles, but it has more than 300 puzzles to solve and an adorable cat in a beret. You don't want to deprive kitty of his sardines, do you?

DOOORS 3 More plus door equals DOOORS. Sounds like something a mad doctor would scream out as he tears at his hair and cackles, doesn't it? Perhaps this same mad doctor is who locked you up, sentencing you to puzzle your way through one door, only to come to the next, and the next. Forty doors to be exact...and, if other installments in the series prove anything, there may be more to come. Regardless, the fun on your mobile device is near endless!

Fiz: The Brewery Management Game Have you ever wanted to drop everything and pursue your dream? Fiz is a new game by Bit by Bit Studios where you get to manage a brewery, enter competitions, meet all sorts of interesting characters, and try to keep everything hopping.

Symmetrain Symmetrain isn't quite like anything you've played. It shares a bit of flavor with an endless runner and a spot the difference game, but when you combine those features you get something that doesn't neatly fit into either category. Instead, you find yourself comparing pieces of the countryside as you look for inconsistencies in the scenery. Created by the studio behind About Love, Hate and the other ones as well as Tiny and Big: Grandpa's Leftovers, Symmetrain is simple, creative, unique, and surprisingly captivating.

Rayman Fiesta Run Limbless and kneeless, Rayman is still a surprisingly good sprinter. The release of Rayman Fiesta Run, a direct follow-up to Rayman Jungle Run, puts our star in a series of worlds littered with coins, lums and traps, all waiting to be conquered with a series of well-timed jumps. An endless runner at its core, Rayman Fiest Run has all the markings of an addictive platform game, complete with scores to perfect, secrets to uncover, and loads of gorgeous artwork to drink in.

Star Wars: Tiny Death Star Star Wars: Tiny Death Star is what happens when LucasArts and NimbleBit conspire to steal all of your time. A casual simulation game at its core, Tiny Death Star is essentially a Star Wars-themed Tiny Tower with a handful of new features and some tweaks to the basic gameplay. Despite having an overzealous in-app purchasing system (don't panic when you see the prices in there), it still manages to hold onto that "just one more minute" style of gameplay that will occupy your brain even when you're not playing the game.

Stack Rabbit From Disney Mobile, the team behind Where's My Water?, Where's My Mickey? and related spin-offs, Stack Rabbit is an isometric puzzle game that's so adorable it just might melt your face off. Playing as a blocky rabbit searching for food, your job is to steal veggies while avoiding the not-so-watchful eye of Max the guard dog. It's an extraordinarily simple premise that's executed with a lot of style and flair, just the way we like our mobile games!

Unfortunately you've got to be a bit self-destructive in order to be a hero. Good thing you brought multiple lives!
