This Mr. Driller clone, created in Flash by Max K., is a decent version of the original game by Namco. Driller uses the arrow keys for movement, and the space bar for drilling. The object is to drill down through the blocks as far as you can without running out of air, or getting crushed. The level of difficulty determines how many rows of blocks you have to drill down through. Air capsules are randomly spaced throughout to provide replenishing your supply. The game is hosted on CyberiaPC.com, and makes a worthy addition to the classic games section. Click.

Deuce - I agree with your observations. I have been looking for a better clone of Mr. Driller to post. If you come across one, please let me know.

I found a driller lookalike on Neopets, called SnowMuncher.

It's a fun little game, and I didn't encounter any problems ~refers to above~. At least you can jump up and drill to the side. ^_^

I can't get it to jump up, and moving to the side is really slow... I've usually had the blocks fall on me by the time I've started moving.

If you're stuck between brown blocks, simply dig to the side several times and you'll get through them, but at the cost of 20 air points.

This game is quite addictive, i know you get blocked in, but there is away round them, just got to think harder.

Yeah.. Something is definitely missing. I love MR. Driller on the DC. I bought it for my little sister, but then I ended up playing it all the time. I wish there was a way to get it on pc.
Not a bad clone. Like I said something is missing. The blocks aren't aranged like in the original. It made it easier to navigate when there were huge clumps of blocks instead of two or three...
