The Zoom Quilt is the collaborative art project of 15 talented artists, all contributing to a final media presentation that is both beautiful and mesmerizing. The piece is available in 3 different media formats: HTML via a series of static jpeg images; AVI compressed video; or the best format, a Shockwave interactive movie. Use the up and down arrows to move forward and backward through the work of art. Click.
The first such "zoom" art work I saw on the Web was this rather simple Flash piece called Swirl. Click.
And then there is the Poloroid photo project by Mark-Steffen Göwecke, which is a rather creative "zoom" concept itself. Click.
During my travels, I also stumbled upon this site for Web design company SoFake.com, which incorporates a wonderful "zoom" piece into the navigation of their Flash site. Click.

The mini review for Zoom II says there is nudity, but I see none? Or perhaps my eyes are immediately drawn to the horror rather than the supposed obscenity?
