Deadzone: Rogue is a first person shooter roguelike that just landed on Steam. But we won't waste your time - here are five reasons why we think you need to check it out. Right now!

Back to Basics Plot

There are no space politics here, no extended dialogue scenes - just a focus on the action. In no way is that better proven by the plot. You're on the spaceship ISS-X, and you have memory loss.

With no idea who you are your one goal is to survive the endless number of rogue machines heading your way.

An Impressive Arsenal...

To hold off this threat the game offers you a huge number of weapons to use, each one boasting their own pros and cons.

There are over thirty to choose from, with close range, long range, and tactical options all available.

...that Begs To Be Upgraded

Those guns don't just stay the same throughout your time with the game though, oh no. Each one can be evolved and modified through a stack of elemental affixes and upgrades.

Seeing how a shotgun can change from a basic close range weapon to one that can clear a whole room is amazing - and is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of the game's arsenal. We wouldn't want to ruin any of it for you now, would we?

Dizzying Range of Enemies

Of course a huge number of guns is one thing, but it means nothing if there's nothing fun to shoot. Fortunately Deadzone: Rogue offers up plenty to enjoy in this department.

There's a range of robotic threats you'll encounter, each one offering up a very different challenge. The way enemies are thrown at you in different variations means every battle feels epic, tense, and fun.

Modes to Suit Everyone

If the game sounds a little frantic for you though, don't worry - a range of difficulty settings are available to tweak the game to your speed.

There's also the chance to play solo, but also three player co-op is supported if you'd like to team up with friends.

So make sure you check out Deadzone: Rogue is available right now on Steam and Epic Games. There's a 20% discount on the current full price as well, and even a Discord channel set up for the game for you to get involved in.
