You know how it feels when you don't get the skin you want when you are playing Fortnite. It is even more frustrating to know that the skins you want will never be available to purchase despite how much V-bucks you have saved throughout the seasons, or how long it will take until they are available again. In this situation, taking over an account that has the skins you want is probably a good solution.

Is it possible to get free Fortnite accounts?
Despite the difficulties, it is still possible to get free Fortnite accounts. The first thing you want to do is ask your friends who haven't logged in their Fortnite account for a while and if they have the skin you are expecting. This will probably cost you money if they don't want to let it go for free. However, it is one of the safest ways to get free Fortnite accounts without having to risk your own account.

Avoiding the Common Scams
If you don't have any friends to get free Fortnite accounts from, trading your account or getting one from random people online can simply be an option. You can find them on Facebook group, Reddit, or Discord. However, it is probably not the safest option, and you better proceed with caution since the person you are dealing with is not someone you already know. To keep you safe from anything harmful during the trade of accounts or purchasing process, below are the tips for you.

Beware of Suspicious Links
If the person you are dealing with provides you with a suspicious link, do not immediately click the link. Check the website using private browsing mode or incognito. This way, the system is not using your Google account on browsing nor keeping the browsing history. Check the link if it brings you to a fake website mimicking the official Fortnite website.

Avoid filling in any personal data like username, password, and even credit card information in the process. Once you notice the website is fake, you should just leave it and never proceed with the transaction.

Fake Login/Payment Page
After clicking suspicious links, you normally are redirected to a login or payment page where you should provide username, password, credit card information, and other information. Once you input all of those, the data will be sent directly to the scammer, and this is how you lose everything.

For you to identify if the page is genuine or fake, it is quite difficult to do it. It is always better to avoid any suspicious links. Most of the time, they are using unusual domain extensions such as .my, .in, .ru, .xyz, etc. with intentional misspelling or unrelated URLs such as Fortnight.ru, Fornight.my, free-fortnite-skin.xyz, etc.

Fake Giveaway
Giveaways don't usually offer Fortnite accounts but rather skins or V-bucks. However, this doesn't mean it is impossible. People selling accounts are commonly hosting giveaways once in a while to gain credibility as a genuine seller for Fortnite accounts. Content creators with multiple accounts do giveaways as well if they don't use it anymore or plan to promote something else.

A newly created social media account with no content offering a giveaway is probably a big red flag to go through, so you should be cautious about this one. Nobody gives away something valuable for free to an unknown person, unless there is something fishy going on. The common practice is to send you a link to a phishing website, malicious app download, or web with endless ads. Joining giveaways is not always safe, so make sure to join trusted hosts that you know the person's credibility.

Avoid Possible Scams
Offering for free Fortnite accounts is very unlikely. When such an offer shows up, don't trust it blindly. Buying an account from a reputable seller with positive reviews is a much safer practice without involving any risk whatsoever.
