Merry Bontemas everybody! That's when we celebrate whenever Bart Bonte releases a new game, and his latest Christmas game, A Bonte Christmas, is definitely going to spread a little holiday cheer. The aim of this puzzler is to gather the ornaments your be-skirted friend asks you to find on each level. It starts out simply enough, and it surely plays simply, just using either [WASD] or the [arrow] keys to move around, but there's a catch. You can't just go gathering balls up willy nilly (stop that sniggering), you have to pay attention to the order they're being requested in, and even figure out ways to make them properly patterned and organised using the environment.
If there's anyone who could possibly make Christmas any swankier or cuter than Bart Bonte in this stylish and clever little puzzler, I can't think of them. He's basically mastered the art of making clean, deceptively simple puzzle games with elegant designs, and A Bonte Christmas showcases this like a champ. How about that soundtrack, daddy-o? The basic concept is actually a little bit like a hands-on Factory Balls, and while it has a more gentler difficulty curve than you might expect, A Bonte Christmas offers challenge enough to keep you thinking as it progresses by injecting little twists here and there and rearranging the familiar level setup.
Whew.. just took my virtual 16 mile daily walk!
Stuck on the one where you need 2 stacks of P/B/Y/polkadot red! Any advice anybody?
That was fun! Over a little too quickly, and lacking in some desired complexity, but I guess that's what sequels are for!
@Colleen:
For the first stack, get the snowed red ball from the right side, but then get the yellow, blue, and purple from the left side. For the second stack, just pick up the remaining balls.
Thanks LightWarriorK!
Factory Balls meets the honey-do list! Too cute!
I'm stuck on level 12 with two stacks of red-yellow-blue. Does anyone know hoe to do it?
I have created a walkthrough video in case you need a little help:

Cheers!
Interesting idea, but when the levels became more difficult they also became more tedious. Much like when you're constantly attaching and removing belts and masks in Factory Balls, but it seems more frustrating in this game because your speed is limited by how fast the character "walks", not how quickly you can click and drag
It was kind of charming before I got sick of my extremely picky collector of stacked balls though.
I agree with Catherine--the actual game mechanic gets very tiresome after a few levels. The may be the first Bart Bonte game I won't bother to finish.
I didn't find it tedious, but I can see where people could.
Perhaps if the planets were smaller? You could still fit everything on them, and it'd mean less walking.
