It has been much longer than 8 days (more like 3 years) since Anode & Cathode had us sleuthing the case of The Poison Coffee, adventuring around The Casino, or meandering through The Museum. Today they send us on another adventure in a similar style, The Fun Fair (Part 1 of what looks to be another episodic game like their last game, 8 Days).
Eight Days is the latest point-and-click adventure from that fabulous French duo, Anode & Cathode. The 4-part episodic game is scheduled to "go live" today (October 19th) at 10:30PM GMT. And judging from their past successes with The Museum, The Casino, and L'expresso Empoisonné, we are likely in store for another excellent adventure.
L'expresso Empoisonné (The Poisoned Coffee) is a superb point-and-click mystery game created by Anode and Cathode, the authors of The Museum, The Casino and others. Paintings and other artwork have been stolen from a museum gallery. All of the evidence points to Damien Bestieu, one of the featured painters.
Anode and Cathode, that very talented French duo responsible for many hours lost inside their previous point-and-click adventures, have done it again. The Casino is the latest of their efforts to put your clicky finger to the test. And while I found this one to be just slightly disorienting as compared to their previous efforts, the quality of workmanship appears to have been left intact.
The Museum is a point-and-click adventure from French design team Anode & Cathode, and is one part mystery and one part figure out what the object of the game is. Your task is to collect the objects you find while exploring the museum and, well, put them back where they belong.
