Time for a break from all the thinking required in those point-and-click adventure games. This next game comes from Jared Tarbell, maths and Flash wizard extraordinaire.
Maeda Path is a relaxing game of eye|hand coordination with elegantly simple graphics and a brilliant use of sound. Using your input device of choice, move your cursor within the blue circle to begin. Carefully guide the cursor through the path as it moves, avoiding the walls as you go. At the end of each level, click the arrow to begin the next.
The graphics and sound of this game are beautiful. The musical tones were recorded using Jared's acoustic guitar, and they play in sequences of his favorite chords as you move the cursor down the path. Mesmerizing and tranquilizing, this game is a work of art. Click.
There is a small bug in the game that you can avoid by allowing the circle at path end to become visible before moving the cursor upon it. If you ride the cursor too close to the right edge of the game space as the path end appears, the active arrow pad won't be clickable. A small blemish on an otherwise perfect distraction.
Thanks again, Capuchin. =)
This game is so oddly tranquil. It's so simple, but I love it!
I think this is the beautifullest simple little thing I've seen in a long time. Really elegant. It's cheered me up no end.
cheers Jay!
Yeah, Maeda is a genius!
nice game. i think the gameplay is a little too simple though.
i reckon they could up the gameplay like 100% if you clicked on the next available square and it added a tetris like shape to the line (that occupied one, two, three or four squares). if you clicked again on the space occupied by that shape again you would fail. if you missed an unfilled square you would fail.
Blinkok - sounds like a fun little idea you have there. Why don't you build it, and I'll post a link to it here. =)
hi, found a bug, if you press the left mouse button and leave it pressed, you can "fly" and reach the last square by releasing it, try it, I reached easily level 14.
another bug. if you land on the first square and drag your mouse off. you can wait until you see the circle at the end and restep back on the platform and win that way.
I like the little "dun" sound at the end. it's so... peaceful...
Just a little bit too slow for my taste
hey lol i tried out the flying thing and got to level 10 lol
i lov this game simple and perfect. i also like the little dings when u do a square =)

I hate it when i have to start all over again...
At first I thought this game is kind of easy, but when you have to start it all over again just because of the one mistake you had made, then it will be a differnet thing..
This game not only tested on eye-hand coordination, but also your patience!!
sorry, my OCD, but its HAND EYEcoordination!!! augh! sorry!
Play this when you're upset. It's perfect.
