Filed under the Hapland/Puzzleland/Industrial Place Thingy category, Odubang 2 is an online point-and-click adventure game where timing and precision cursor clicks are your key to survival. Guide a spastic stick figure through an MS Paint world of red soil and gigantic green boulders. It's a short but entertaining game.

Your interaction with the Odubang 2 world is entirely by mouse click. If you can click on a certain area the cursor changes, usually to the hand icon (depending on your computer). These hotspots change depending on where you are, limiting your choices to the task immediately at hand. As you pick your way across the five levels, you'll quickly learn where not to click. Fortunately you aren't timed and can retry the stage as often as you like.
The goal of Odubang 2 is, of course, to make it through the stage alive. There are many creative (and unexpected) ways to die and each can happen at the slightest mis-click. It's fun to try every option just to see what will happen. The safe path through the level isn't always the obvious one, so some trial and error is needed.
Analysis: This sort of puzzle/point-and-click game is nothing new, but I feel like Odubang 2 is just slightly unique in a few areas. First of all, it doesn't take itself seriously. Don't expect brain-grinding puzzles or complex click patterns. It's trial and error clicking. Your attention is always glued to the next move at hand and that involves just one click.
Odubang 2 also uses the increasingly popular "paint program graphics" where it looks as if the author painted the levels with a one-color brush. Some see it as lazy, others as a protest to graphically-intense games of today. I see it as a fitting art style for a simple game. It works.
Yes, you want to give Odubang 2 a try. Many thanks to Gabriel for sending this one our way!
UPDATE: The original game, Odubang 1, is also available. Thanks to Role for the link!
Odubang 2 walkthrough now available!
Comments (may contain spoilers)
Good fun! But is there a Odubang 2?
Another great find. I can't beat those Hapland games...to involved >>;. But this one was easy :D.
....TAB kinda runis things again though, especially in the last 2 levels.
HELP! i get squashed all the time (:-[
A lot of trial and error but easy and fun.
This is a fun game despite the very simple graphics. Currently I'm stuck on lvl 4, after avoiding the rolling stone. I keep falling in the water. Can anyone help?
Agh! I cant get around the fire breathing thing and the arrow!
And of course I found out just after posting.
And in case anyone else wants to know how I did it:

Played this the other day and really enjoyed it. Although some people may complain that it's annoying, I found the deaths just as enjoyable as the victories. Also, you're never more than three or four seconds away from where you were anyway.
Yes! Beat it! Wish there were more levels, tho. Great game!
Once you know how to beat it, this game doesn't last as long as Nest of Moai. ;-)
A tip if you're stuck?

This was am easy game, though it did waste 10 min of good times :)... Some parts of it was funny. JohnB nice of you taking over for Jay while he is in CA :)
If anyone is interesting, this is the link to Oduband 1:
So many ways to die....
The first level was challanging, clever, and rewarding.
The other levels were just easy. Not as fun at all.
Nice find.
So did you guys find the extra levels?
Anybody who can help me with Odubang 1? I can't find help for it anywhere on the internet. The second stage of part two... I got past the suspended bridge but now I'm on rocky ground. I can jump or i can take the hangrail, but I die both ways.
That darn typekey kicks me out every day instead of every two weeks.
Nevermind i found it

YeS! A new achievement in my life. Another feather in the cap of my hat!
erm.
i had fun. quick, interesting game like jay says ;)
The first one is just as fun as the 2nd... AHAHHA
Haha! that was stupid, but fun!

Am I the only person for whom these games have completely stopped working? It loads the page, but there's just some text.
Wulfo, I would make sure you have the newest flash, but that is probably not the problem. Naver is a korean version of google it seems, my friend goes there all the time for searches and now here they have a weblog service, so I would try to get some korean text support/try it on another browser. Also, try to download the swf directly from these links:

Hope that helps.
Tht was very fun but also very short. It's funny to see how they can get killed in retarded ways also the graphics were cheesy but tht's wht makes it fun!
I like this game :) Gameplay is definately more important then graphics. They were both pretty quickly to do, but it was fun.
The graphics in this game aren't as much simplistic as unpolished. While it may be a good 20 second romp, it doesn't leave any great satisfaction having won, as Hapland and Warbears and the like do.
Also, it is worthwhile to note that if one presses or holds down tab, the clickable spaces quickly become revealed, rendering the game nothing more than thoughtless clicking.
Here's how you get to the secret stage:
(I got it from one of the comments on the game)

haha cool, I finished the extra stage(s) too. I also just figured out a spoiler:

Awesome game, reminds me of the good ol space quest games... error equals death yet oh so fun
Apparentely there is a preview of Stickman Odo 3 out (apparenteyl stickman odo is the real name of the series). It is short, but frustrating as every death sends you back to the beginning. Again, it is just a preview, it is also more action-oriented then the other two. Also, it appears many people thought he was Japanese, because he angerly points out what Japanese texts looks like next to his Korean.

fun, easy, and easy going.
Ps: NEED MORE BLOOD cause I LIkE BLOOD!!!AHHH!!BLOOD ROX!!
Hehe funny stuff but great fun! i enjoyed it very much
Belated comment here...
The proper name of the game is actually "Stickman Odubangjeong" or "Stickman Odobangjeong." Both spellings are used (the former in the post title and the latter in the game itself), but they both mean the same thing in Korean: something like "flighty." For example, this is the word we use to describe our dog, who cannot sit still, jumps up and down, and spins around in circles whenever someone brings him food. That's "odubangjeong," and it seems pretty fitting for our spastic stickman.
helpp im stuck at the part where the pakage thing is
i finally got it! yay! :D
hah that took a while for about 5 levels. but my luck kicked in around level 3 or 4 and got by with no huge difficulties, except for the very end! i got the other ending first :P pretty kool.

Secret Level!!

Sorry for any missspeelinga ;D
I timed myself on a stopwatch for completing Odubang 2, and the result was 39.95 seconds. I bet if I keep trying, I'll be able to get under 39 seconds. Oh yeah, and completing Odubang 2 with the extra stage was 1:01.22. Again, maybe I'll be able to get it under one minute...
THIS GAME IS AWESOME!!! I especially liked blowing the guy up!
