Migration complete ...sort of

| Comments (25) | Views (1)

Well, I am finished with the migration, the only problem remaining is to get the .htaccess file working to redirect my RIT traffic here. I have set up the .htaccess file with all the file mappings, but it does not seem to be working. Hopefully I can get to the bottom of this soon.

In the meantime, I have changed the main index page at RIT to redirect here, but that's not the best solution.

There may still be a broken link lying around here and there. If you find one, please bring it to my attention. I'll keep working on straightening things out here until it's done.

Cheers!

Beautiful site Jay! It looks very... the same. I am still glad that you are getting your own site. I hope that this helps your google rank. Out of curiosity- are you planning on ads to help pay for this?

Thanks, Zengief. No time for a redesign of the layout just yet, and no plans for ads in the immediate future. For now it shall remain as is, apart from a new URL.

Just got around to looking up your site, which has resulted in me spending much of my free time today stuck in locked rooms. Nice place.

Hey, found a broken link. It won't let me add stuff to my favorites.

Thanks CareyBeth - but what exactly are you doing to add to your favorites? Favorites are working fine for me. Please be as specific as you can. Thanks!

Wow! Great job Jay, it's about time you got a new domain name! Now that school is starting again, I can find your website MUCH easier when I get a chance on the high school computers- I can now actually remember the domain name and can just type it in instead of searching Google!

Your site rules!

The ESP Game. (Really cool game, btw.) I click the little "Add Game to Favorites" after it's description and get a 404. Oops?

Excellent! Thanks, CareyBeth. I'm fixing that one as I write this. And I am certain there are many more like it lurking about.

Please don't be shy to tell me if something is wrong. =)

Glad you have a new domain now. I've told everyone about your rit site. I have you linked on my site which is how I direct most of my friends to you. Now I can just tell them jayisgames.com. So much easier. Thanks jay.

No, thank *you* Preston. ;)

Grace: I am, from the bottom of my heart to the top, games. =)

Shastanna: make sure you update those bookmarks, because I won't be at RIT much longer.

Oh yay! I love the fact that you're a dot-com now. Somehow that makes you five million times sexier and the games that much more incredible. Keep up the good work, and stay sexy!
