The Red Handle is underneath the pillow on the mannequin's bed in the Patient Ward of the Hospital.
Do you mean the Ice Pick is no longer in your inventory or you haven't found it yet? If the latter, you can find the Ice Pick on the counter top at the lower left side of the screen in the Shock Therapy Room. Here is a
screenshot with its location (labeled A)
I cannot get the lock to appear in the mirror. I have turned the gauges on the boiler and then gone back into bathroom and turned hot water on. Window appears steamed but no lock showing. Help!
Are both of the cranks on the boiler pointing to the right? Also, did you make sure that -only- the hot water tap is turned on, not both hot and cold taps? If so, it should be appearing in the lower right side of the bathroom mirror.
You skipped an important part prior to reaching the Cell Block. You need to go back to the Recreation Room, open the ventilation duct, and then put the Sleeping Potion inside the duct. This will release the sleeping gas that pacifies all of the hands in the Cell Block.
Please refer to the instructions in Chapter 4 of the walkthrough at the top of the comments for additional information if you need any help making the Sleeping Potion.
If you're stuck on the nose hairs/7:40 thing, go back to Mama's room and click on her feet. If you can still zoom in on either one, you're not done. In my case, I had clipped all ten nails but forgot to pick up two of them. Once I picked them up and put them in the jar with the others, all was good.
It took me quite a while to figure that out. :-P It was a good reminder for me that if you can still zoom in on something, you're not finished with it. You may not be able to do something there right away, but eventually you will!
Need Help, Where are the activation areas for the section on wedding and the two tokens one being the'clock' and the other is what looks like multi-color tubes or wires? We have look over everything at least three times and must be missing something.
I think I need to do a better job of explaining what I need help on. There are two tokens on Rose's tank that I cannot find the location to activate them. One is the 'clock' the other is what looks like mult-color wires or something like that. Can someone please help?

On page 1: Morphing Object 1/16 in the yellow tab is the word Blackpool/Slackpool at the top of the middle newspaper clipping above "Authorities Baffled!".
On page 3: Morphing Object 2/16 in the yellow tab is the piece of tape at the upper right corner of the polaroid showing the toolbox in the Cottage.
On page 6: Morphing object 3/16 in the yellow tab is the coffee stain at the lower left side of the right page, to the left of the words "Too dark to see!"
On page 7: Morphing Object 4/16 in the yellow tab is the heart-shaped bottom of the control panel mechanism, between the control pannel and the spiked bottom.

Door Token Locations
Door Tokens are part of the Collector's Edition bonus content. At the end of every chapter, after using a key on one of the tanks, you will receive a number of Door Tokens.
The image inside each door token represents an actual location inside the game.
Find the hidden locations indicated in each token, then align the token over it and click to charge it. You will then receive an "Activated Token" with glittering green sparkles over the token.
After all of the tokens have been activated, return to the Tank Room and place the tokens back in the round slots around the keyhole to their appropriate tank.
The tank will then drop, and you can continue along your adventure!
Take the two Door Tokens from the Raven Door.
Token #1: Align the door token with the word "Together" engraved above the left lamp in the Tank Room.
Token #2: Align the door token with the word "Again" engraved above the right lamp in the Tank Room.
Replace all of the activated tokens into the empty slots at the Raven Door.
Take all of the Door Tokens from the Stork Door.
Token #1: Go to the Waiting Room in the Hospital. Click the reception desk to zoom in. Align the door token with the bottles in the shelf behind the nurse.
Token #2: Go to the Morgue. Click the mannequin with its feet sticking out of the body cooler with the toe tag reading Anonymous Soul #5. Align the door token with the last three toes on the foot.
Token #3: Go to the Patient Ward. Click the IV drip with the funnel at the top, beside the floating orange balloon to zoom in. Align the door token with the second wallpaper flower on the right vertical line.
Token #4: Go to the Delivery Room. Align the door token with the left side of the IV drip, behind the vase of flowers.
Token #5: Go to the Waiting Room. Align the door token with the canes and walking sticks in the holder at the bottom right corner of the reception desk.
Token #6: Go to the Morgue. Click the sink to view the back of the room. Align the door token with the bottles on the bottom shelf beside the purple can of paint.
Replace all of the activated tokens into the empty slots at the Stork Door.
Take all of the Door Tokens from the Madman Door.
Token #1: Go to the Bathroom in the Dalimar House. Click the medicine cabinet to look inside. Click the bottle of poison on the third shelf to push it to the left. Align the door token with the poison bottle and the larger bottle beside it.
Token #2: Go to the Cellar. Click the circus poster on the wooden beam to zoom in. Align the door token with the raven on the poster under the word "Freak".
Token #3: Go to the Pantry. Align the door token with the lantern on the floor to the left of the broom and the iron pot.
Token #4: Go to the House Entrance. Align the door token with the numbered plaque at the top of the front door.
Token #5: Go to the Surgery in the Hospital. Align the door token with the red light beside the upper right corner of the door frame to the Morgue.
Token #6: Go to the Maternity Ward. Align the door token with the jug and the vase of roses on the table behind the infant cribs.
Replace all of the activated tokens into the empty slots at the Madman Door.
Take all of the Door Tokens from the Proposal Door.
Token #1: Go to the Foyer in the Dalimar House. Click the red button in the middle of the floor to zoom in. Turn the dial to the III setting. Align the door token with the dial to the Spank-A-Tronic.
Token #2: Go to the Surveillance room in the Asylum. Click the second screen from the left in the top row of monitors to zoom in. Push the button at the lower right corner of the screen to cycle through the images until you see a close-up of the nurse at the reception desk. Align the door token with the nurse on the screen.
Token #3: Go to the Foyer in the Dalimar House. Click the cuckoo clock to zoom in. Set the time to 5:35, then align the door token with the face of the clock.
Token #4: Go to the Delivery Room in the Hospital. Click the ultrasound device to zoom in. Click and drag the left lever under the letter D down to the bottom of the bar. Click the pressure gauges on the side of the bed to zoom in. Align the door token with the left meter.
Token #5: Go to the Office in the Asylum. Click the file cabinet to zoom in. Align the door token with the file tabes in the open drawer.
Token #6: Go to the Lighthouse Gate in the Ravenhearst Manor area. Align the door token with the upper left side of the tree in the middle of the field in front of the lighthouse.
Replace all of the Activated Tokens into the empty slots at the Proposal Door.
Take all of the Door Tokens from the Heart Door.
Token #1: Go to the Dalimar House Entrance. Click the red speaker on the right side of the gate to zoom in. Align the door token with the top of the speaker.
Token #2: Go to the Asylum Gate. Align the door token with the top of the speaker on the pole on the left side of the gate.
Token #3: Go to the Hospital Entrance. Click the speaker to the right of the front door to zoom in. Align the door token with the center of the speaker.
Token #4: Go to the Cave in the Wedding Area. Align the door token with the violinist's hand holding the neck of the violin.
Token #5: Go to the security guard shack at the Asylum Gate. Align the door token with the bottom two buttons at the back of the mannequin guard's coat.
Token #6: Go to the Dock at the Wedding area. Align the door token with the coil of rope between the feat of the two mannequins on the left side of the dock.
Replace all of the Activated Tokens into the empty slots at the Heart Door.
Check the newly posted section of the walkthrough for the locations of all the Door Tokens. The two you are looking for are under the Proposal Door section, Tokens #3 and #5.
I am trying to get into the cottage, using the broken bar, but I cannot find where to put the bar to pry it open.
On the left side of the cottage door just centimeters to the left of doorknob when viewing the close-up, there's a large crack between the door and the door frame. This hole also has multiple scratch marks at the sides of it. Place the metal bar in that hole to pry the door open.
I can't get the red handle from under the pillow how do i do that? fyi the patient is already dead, is that going to prevent me from getting that?
I was wondering what the "0 to 15" and "0 to 16" means. It is at the top of the stratagey guide on the right side. I finished the game and the 15 side is no longer 0 but the 0 to 16 is still the same.
To be able to pick up the handle, you first need to find the polaroid image that "reveals" its location. The photo for the Red Handle is labeled "Something Old" and can be found on the lap of the male mannequin on the bench at the outside area of the Asylum Entrance. After looking at the photograph, you can return to the dead patient and check under his pillow.
Those numbers are the amount of morphing objects you have found on the pages inside your Casebook. Find all 31 morphing objects inside to unlock 2 bonus puzzles.

I'm stuck on the proposal door. I have found 5 of the door tokens but can't find the one that shows a knob with 4 roman numerals on it. I have been trying for 2 days. Help!!!
i found this game very frustrating,
when it came to eye chart had to use the forum.the end chamber i am still having trouble with. it is like dire grove where i can not finish the game as i can not get the rabbits head of or the 13 skulls where, t cannot get the codes for the cannons why do you not put a skip button on these so you can find out where you go wrong

i missed picking it up and have gone back, retrieved it and gotten through the rec room scenario...
I have been stuck at the hospital for several days now. I clicked on the pile of rubble in the hall, and the items that morph are there. So I start clicking them. They go away for a second, my number of items to be found goes down, they they appear again and my number goes back up. It is impossible to get all the objects with how fast the morphing objects reappear. The same thing is happening in the sink in the morgue. I can't go any further. Very frustrating.
Anyone have any ideas on a fix?
The punishment for mis-clicks or random clicking for morphing objects scenes is that found objects will return back to the scene. With how fast it sounds like they're coming back though, you'd have to be rapid firing that mouse button off.
It may be a technical error, in which case I'd recommend contacting customer support at the company you purchased your game from.

The one in the Courtyard is the wrong cell, you won't find it there. The polaroid for the Blue Handle is on the wall inside the right Prisoner Cell on the roof. You can find detailed instructions on how to get there in the Chapter 4 section of the walkthrough above the comments.

Click the mirror to view the mannequin from the Recreation Room banging his head on the glass. After viewing the photo around his neck, you can return to the Cave and remove the pile of rubble.
I just finished the Hosptial. Went back to the tank room, placed the key in Charlottes tank, clicked on all the little circled and added them to my inventory, and now I can not go anywhere. It is not opening a new door. The door is still open to the hospital and I have no other choices. Where do I go from here? Have I forgotten something?
The only thing I could not get in the hospital was the key behind the glass in the patient ward. It cracked once after clicking on the red buttons, then never did again.

Every mannequin needs to have an inflated belly for the nearest one to open her mouth. Please refer to the Maternity Ward section of Chapter 2 in the walkthrough above the comments for a detailed solution to that puzzle.
You need to charge those tokens before you can put them back in the door by finding their location in the game. The solution with screenshots to that door tokens puzzle can be found in the Door Token Locations section of the Collector's Edition Bonus Content Walkthrough above the comments.
Remember when you activated the Door Tokens with the words "Together" and "Again" at the end of the last chapter? You have to do the same thing again with these new tokens. Find their location, line up the token with the actual item, click to charge the token, then replace it on the door.

The first Parenting Book can be found on top of the left stretcher in the Hallway area of the Hospital.
The second Parenting Book is inside the stove of the Kitchen in the Dalimar House after you finish the morphing object scene.

Well, I made it to the end. I didn't mind the morphing bit too much, but 1 out of every 3 or 4 "Find it Pages" would have been enough. A Map would have been a great help and your book does not write down all your findings so I had little notes here there and everywhere on my desk. I hate to use the strategy guide, but I had to in this game because some clues were so detached from others and in far away locations, that it would have taken all day to go back through every room, house, hut, nuthouse looking for the obscure clue. A good map, a "to-do list" and an up-to-date diary would have been more helpful than this strategy guide.
Not a patch on the last games in my opinion I'm afraid. Sad really - cos I was so looking forward to it.

I'm just to the house, and the morphing doesn't bother me at all. I've only been stuck twice on the final item and just used the hint button. What does irritate me is the door tokens. Maybe it's my bad eyesight, but I hate hunting around for a tiny portion of screen to match them up to. So far that's been the most irritating part of the game. Otherwise I'm enjoying it.
Also- I wish the journal would write down clues like in other games. Sure, I can write them down, but I'm also lazy.

So go back to the asylum, into the Electro Shock Room, through the window, down in the sewer, straight ahead through the cave, up the hose to the house and from there to the car, one step forward.

I'm in the cave at chapter 5 and i can't use the pick axe i tried to move the mouse all over the rocks and it did not switch to a magnifying glass any help please ?
Let me just start by saying that I really, really loved this game, with only a few reservations. However, I think that this game commits one particularly large flaw that no one has yet mentioned.
The only MCF game I had played before was Madame Fate, and since I strongly prefer adventure/puzzle games over straight sequences of HO scenes, I decided the MCF series was clearly not worth the money or time for me.
However, when this game came out, JayIsGames (one of my favorite and most trusted reviewers) gave it a very good rating, so I picked up the demo. In beginning the game, I felt like I finally knew what it was like to walk into a recent Harry Potter movie without having read the books or seen the first movies. Clearly there was an intense and long-standing backstory that the game assumed I knew, and I was clueless. I'm not just talking about the ghosts whom I didn't know, but also little things like the broken puzzle on the shed door that just added to my confusion and frustration.
Well, I thought, if this game was so good, maybe it's worth my time and money to go back and play the first two Ravenhearst games, in order to experience the story as the devs intended. I'm one of those people who CANNOT read books or watch movies or television shows out of order, so the idea of jumping into this game without being able to "get" the backstory was unacceptable.
What I soon learned to my irritation was that the first Ravenhearst game was much like the Madame Fate game that had bothered me so much. The door puzzles were much less frustrating than Madame Fate's monitor-grabbing-and-shaking-with-anger word puzzles, but it was still a lot of time (and some money) that seemed wasted when all I really wanted out of the game was the story.
Admittedly, the second game was much more like the "standard" HOG rolled off today, so I didn't mind so much playing that one. Seeing live action incorporated into a HOG was very cool and absolutely worth the time and money. However, I think I would have felt much better about buying and playing the second game if I hadn't crawled through the first one as well.
And the thing is, it was the demo of this third game that made me feel as if I HAD to know the backstory. I played the third and fourth Dream Chronicle games and was so pleased I went back and got the others, without feeling "left out"; the Drawn series could easily be played out of order since each game has a strong introduction and a solid ending; series like Awakening, Azada, and the Fall Trilogy all have links and little in-jokes that depend on having played in order but don't rely on prior knowledge.
Most importantly, all these games are identical in style with only minor differences in gameplay. Playing them out of order doesn't feel like a trip down the memory lane of adventure game development.
I guess my end point is this: while I very much like and enjoy having games that string along a single plot, there should be some nod made toward new players to help us catch up, especially with the first game being so old and so different.
It would have been awesome (and probably not too difficult, especially since there was no bonus content) to include a summerized compilation of the casebooks from the first and second games with a big "The Story So Far..." on the title page to click on. I would have been glad to avoid the first game, and probably would have gone back and bought the second one anyhow to see what the summary didn't include.
Or, alternately, put together a cutscene that contains a similar summary. Or even just a written page or two with some drawings.
Tl;dr: Next time a BFG makes a game whose story doesn't make sense unless you know what happened in the previous games, have some explanation of said previous games for players who are new to the series! If we like the game, we'll still go back and buy the others!

HELP. i'm in the asylum trying to open the locked cell door in the attic. i input the code and the door never opens. I'm running up and down the stairs to get the new code everytime and still the door won't open. I'm entering it in plenty of time.

Can someone tell me where the spigot/faucet is on the cottage wall? There are only rocks in front of it. I have to get to it before I can go down the cliff to get the shovel.
There are two cell doors on the roof that require the 4 digit code to be entered in under a minute (one on the left and one on the right). The door on the left requires the code seen from looking inside the cell from the window in the Courtyard. The other door on the right requires the code seen from the security monitor in the Surveillance room. If the first code you tried isn't working, try using the 4 digit number found in the other location.
If you've already picked up the V Keys from inside the pie and the pile of debris in the Cave, then the last V Key left is found in the Destroyed Manor, but only after you complete the morphing object scene. If you haven't already, you should be able to look inside the fireplace and take the V Key. Here's a screenshot of that location (Labeled A).
I'd also suggest going back to the Cottage and looking at the toolbox to check that you might not have already placed one of the three V Keys there.

Click the papers on the man's lap to see the photograph showing the picture of the bed in the Patient Ward labeled "Something Old." Then you can go to that location and take the Red Handle.
It would be impossible to descend, since you have to ascend instead :P Simply go forward through the open doorway into the dark room where you will find the bottom of a stairway. Climb up the stairs to reach the top of the lighthouse, then you'll have explored the lighthouse entirely.
I believe you may be mistaking the Lighthouse for the Cottage, as there are no rocks at all in front of the Cottage. The Cottage is the building across the bridge to the right, and then forward past the mailbox and picket fence.
From there, look at the door to the building and you can see the faucet sticking out of the vine-covered wall to the left of the doorway.
thanks Trinn.. do you mean the 5 digit codes?? I tried it.. didn't open the doors.. i know each door is timed, but does the time start once you "know" the code or when you click on the timer on the door?
D'oh! I do mean 5, thanks :) The game randomizes a new code that lasts only one minute starting immediately when you first look at the code in the Surveillance Room. You should also see a dial with an arrow pointing to one of three colors on it that indicates how much time you have left to put in the code.
Green for the first 30 seconds, then yellow until the 45 second mark, then red for the last 15 seconds. The timer on the door is just a duplicate of that same countdown. Here's a screenshot where you can see it took me a little over 15 seconds to go from the Surveillance Room to the right door on the Roof.

Oh haha whoops, thank you so much for responding, but that's the trouble, I click to go forward and all you here is the footstep noises and I don't go anywhere, I remain in the same room with the fire going. :( I'm starting to think this is a glitch with my game.
I need to get the coocoo clock door tocken but I already blew the place up and now I can't click on the clock...all I can do is ring the bell next to it. Do I have to start the whole game over again? Please help me!
I forgot to put the baby into the XRay machine - now I can't get past the pregnant women in their beds! (the babies are all in correct position) Do I have to start a new game ? :((
I was able to complete the crib puzzle without having put the babies into the X-Ray machine. Have you looked through the gate at the end of the maternity room to find the combination 4592 carved on the wall? And are you sure you have the babies in the correct position?

Also, have you completed the mini-game inflating the pregnant women's bellies?
You should't need to start a new game if you've completed those two puzzles correctly!

I have a bit of a pickle.
I am stuck in Charle's childhood house. I've got four pills. 1.The pie. 2.The journal. 3.The mailbox/speaker 4.the medicine cabinet 5. Cokcooclock. I know all the locations where they are supposed to be.
I've rechecked and rechecked. Only the problem remains that I've done everything else that is needed in for this part of the game (aside from the spank-o-tron) and it won't allow me to click back on anything else besides the pie.
I've gotten the V button and when I click all it says the saracatsic line.
I've done the steam on the mirror. I've done all the Momma missions. It won't let me under the cabinent anymore. Or the clock.
I've checked the speaker/mailbox and I've got the pill there.
WHAT AM I DOING WRONG? I know that I need the pills to get the Madman Key.
You should still be able to activate the cuckoo clock Door Token even after having detonated the TNT. If you are unable to zoom in, it's possible that you may be experiencing a technical issue. But first, check your inventory to make sure you're looking for the correct token. You can find step-by-step instructions in the Door Tokens section of the Bonus Content walkthrough above the comments or refer to the following images:
Here is the screenshot showing the location and inventory item corresponding to the cuckoo clock door token.
And here is a very similar looking screenshot for the door token that is actually found on the pressure gauge at the side of the hospital bed.
If you still have the inactive door token to the clock in your inventory after double checking those two locations, you may need to contact customer support.
If you're hearing the audio cue but not changing scenes, I think you're almost certainly experiencing a technical issue. :(
I am stuck where you have to give the red pills to the mannequin. I found all four but thought they should go in that funnel thing with the other mannequin and they are all gone now. Do I have to start from the beginning again????

Could you please explain a little further what problem you're experiencing? The four red pills are supposed to go into the funnel to the IV drip beside the patient's bed and disappear, just as you described. After that, the patient should lift its hand holding a birth certificate for Charles Dalimar. You should be able to continue the game from there with no trouble.
Happy holidays to you too, Judy! :) Finding the solution to the lighthouse override puzzle involves a number of steps:
Go down to the Cliff and place the Ladder over the gap between the two ledges. Take the scrap of paper sticking out of the face of the cliff.
Next, go to the destroyed Ravenhearst Manor. Click the brick on the floor to zoom in. Remove the brick to find a torn sheet of paper. Combine the two paper scraps to complete the letter. Note that the word Last is underlined and that there are 4 numbered arrows at the bottom of the page (Right - 1, Down - 2, Left - 3, Up - 4)
Now go to the Graveyard. Click the first grave on the left to view Edward Last's tombstone. Underneath his name is a random combination of 5 numbers (for my game it was 43412). These numbers refer to the directional arrows from the note in the Manor (so the solution for my example is Up, Left, Up, Right, Down)
Finally go to the top of the Lighthouse. You must push the lever on the override mechanism left, up, right, or down in the order of the 5 digit combination found on Last's tombstone. Here is a screenshot showing all of the important parts to the solution.
If the light doesn't come back on after entering the correct combo, make sure you've repaired the electric panel by solving the puzzle at the Lighthouse Gate in order to send power to the Lighthouse.
It's no trouble at all :) However, I need you to clarify a couple points first. Are you saying that you can't find the 5th Blue Pill although you know their locations, but you don't know which one is the missing one? And now all of the areas where you can find them are unresponsive?
If you've already picked up the pill beside the pie and the windowsill is empty now, you can still zoom in on the pie because it will come in handy again in the future.
You don't need to worry about the 3 V Keys until the very end of the game, so you can ignore the snarky in-game text for now :P
Just in case, I'd put all the pills you have so far into the IV drip next to the patient's bed in the hospital. It's possible you may have already used the 5th blue pill before collecting the other 4. Try to break the glass and take the key afterwards.
If that doesn't work, then it's possible you're overlooking something at one of those five locations. I'm sure you've checked a million times, but try a million and one at these 5 places:
In the medicine cabinet at the Bathroom, behind the pill bottle in the right corner of the bottom shelf.
In the kitchen on the windowsill, just beside the pie.
In the closet under the stairs, between the pages of the journal.
In the foyer of the Dalimar house, under the face of the cuckoo clock.
Outside the Dalimar house, at the bottom right corner on the inside of the mailbox/speaker.
If you're still having trouble, please let me know. I'd be happy to look further into it for you.

I am unable to change the code on the book in the asylum that says patient number. When I click on the numbers all I get is a magnifying glass and the numbers won't change. What am I doing wrong?

The last page of the journal (pg. 39) is only available upon completing the game. After the credits roll, click Start in the menu and the journal should open automatically.
V Key 1/3 is found in the destroyed Ravenhearst Manor. After completing the morphing object scene, click the fireplace to look inside. Remove the loose brick to find the V key.

V Key 2/3 is at the Kitchen of the Dalimar House. Click the pie on the windowsill to zoom in. Break the crust of the pie three times to reveal the V Key inside it.
V Key 3/3 is in the Cave through the proposal door. To the right of the violinist, near the mouth of the cave, is a pile of dirt and debris. Click the pile to zoom in then use the Pick Axe to clear away the rocks uncovering the V Key.
Have you listened to the tape recording in the Sewers? In many cases throughout the game it will not let you complete a puzzle without first having discovered the solution.
After hearing the recording to learn Charles' patient number, you should be able to interact with the lock on the book cover.
Turns out I didn't get the page with a swing set. I got a different one. A page with two mysterious pictures.

I am in the graveyeard and I'm stuck. I am trying to use the shovel in front of the closest grave 3 times. Everytime I try to use the shovel it goes back into my inventory. Any thoughts?
I'm so stuck on the cage lock in the cellar. Ive ran the hot water, got the image to appear but when I the pressed the buttons on the lock. it doesn't do anything. Is there a sequence to pressing the buttons?
Have you fixed the lighthouse by solving the override puzzle so that the light is shining on the grave? You cannot dig until that has been completed.
The key is to note which of the circles from the steam image on the mirror are slightly darker in shade, then press the corresponding buttons on the lock. The order is not important so long as all four of the correct buttons are pressed. Refer to this screenshot for the solution.
I'm probably doing something very stupid, but I can't seem to get past the delivery room scene. =[
I get to the point of cutting all the wires from the robotic baby, but the second I get to the blue one, the screen zooms out again as if I've completed the puzzle, except I don't have the baby in my inventory. It hasn't exploded, so I know I've done it right, but no matter how many times I've tried it/re-started the game/re-started my computer, it still won't let me have the stupid thing.
Am I missing something obvious here? Or is it a glitch?

Uh, can someone help me with the lighthouse gate? I've managed to get the numbers at the bottom in the right order, and right-side up, and each one lights up green at the bottom to say they are right, but it still buzzes to say it is wrong, and they go back to their starting places. What am I missing??
Even if you are cutting them in the right order, you have to time it right as well. You need to cut the cord at the same moment that the baby's eyes are open with the same matching color. (e.g.) When the baby's eyes are open and blue, cut the blue cord, etc.
If you cut a cord when the baby's eyes are closed or are at that moment a different color than the cord you just cut, the puzzle will reset and you have to start again from the beginning.
i have tried and tried to get the lock on the cage open in the cellar, i followed the lock combination from the bathroom with the steam but each time I try i get nowhere, and it's becoming very frustrating, is there a certain way of clicking the buttons, it's difficult to read the sequence, so any help would be really appreciated, thanks
Thank you for the advise, but I am cutting the wires in time to the different eye colours, and also in the right order. As I get to the last blue wire, the screen zooms out again as if I've completed the puzzle and the baby is still in the metal basket, but clicking the baby means doing the puzzle all over again. I know the sequence I'm doing is right as I've purposely done the wrong sequences a few times to see if it differs, and the baby explodes every time I purposefully do it wrong. I don't think I'm explaining this very well.
Basically, is there anything else I'm meant to have done to allow me to have the robotic baby? Thanks again~
Hi all.... I'm stuck on the scene in the mental institution where you are supposed to shave the mannuequin's head, then change the knob on his head from "normal" to "lobotomy"... however, I don't have the tool required to change the knob.. Does anybody know what I am supposed to be using?! Earlier in the game, in one of the transforming object scenes, I clicked one too many times and was warned that clicking too much will cause you to lose certain inventory items. If I am supposed to be using the screwdriver to change the knob, I am unable to relocate it in other scenes- I went to the hospital where the mannequin surgeon was working on the patient on the table, but the screwdrive was no longer hidden in the back of his uniform... any thoughts?! HELP! Thank you for any info!
Don't worry, misclicking in morphing object scenes will not cause your inventory items to disappear! Rather, it will only return one of the morphing objects back to the scene, so you only have to click it again to set things right.
The item you're looking for to change the knob in the mannequin's head to Lobotomy is the Ice Pick. This is the same tool used to remove the panel from his head, so you should have it in your inventory. If not, here's a screenshot of its location (labeled A)
There are 4 buttons you have to click to open the cage lock in the Cellar. They are identified by the darker circles from the steam image on the bathroom mirror. The order in which you click the buttons is not important.
