I did honour the tree and i put all my villagers on it but the kids just ran off and completed it before any adults got there!!!

to make a stew go out just put a villager on the 'low well' and they will remove the stew!

started game with :
-12 y old female child
-14 y old male
-14 y old female
-14 y old female
-18 y old female WITH CHILD

The advantage of this setup is you will have full 5 man workforce early on, AND a child at your disposal.

Having 4 ladies also really helps when you want to grow your tribe larger.

After roughly 180 hours the tree was cured, with my little 25 people tribe.

No tribal people had died so far
12 had become scolar
3 were still kids
the others were master in at least 2 skills but not yet in all 5.

I decieded to go for the full trophies run.

So far 12 of my tribal people have died (all were scolars), I have a population of 92 (just tipped 100 and now allowing for the tribe to srink again)

The Trophies I still need to complete are
-Light fire 50 times -> that one is insane!
-Get 50 island events -> 9 so far... insane!
-100 rare mushrooms -> 39 now, hard to do
The others are done.

any of you around who already succeding in doing ALL trophies?

Sandrien, drag an adult over to the round thing that looks like a well in the lab beside the shelves on the right side, they will do the rest from there.

How do you get tech points faster? It's taking forever to get the higher amounts.

I've been able to make double batches of cloth several times now. Follow the same recipe as usual, then have a villager (or villagers) spread the cloth pulp until it is 90% complete. Then drop two villagers on the cloth pulp simultaneously, and both villagers will finish the cloth and store three bolts of cloth each. Six bolts for the work of three!

I am noticing that when I have villagers tell stories more mushrooms and other items appear in the village. Especially if i have multiple villagers telling stories. Hope this can help someone. I also started having my younger villagers at age 18 tell stories and their parenting skills increase much faster.

I have a question, who is that man with mask who touched the leaf in the last story after I finished all the puzzles? I thought this was the last episode of virtual villagers. Was that another story???

***INCREASE YOUR TECH POINTS AFTER DECORATING THE TREE!!!

I found that once you have finished your leis you can pick the flowers and take them to the lab for tech points. You can use both adults and children to do so. It definitely is worth it-your points go up quite a bit! Just look for which flowers the hummingbird pollinates and start picking!

I can't get the pond trophy, i have 60 villagers and i tried puttin them all in the pond - except the children and mothers. I also tried placing them in the rocks so they jump themselves and they do but i still can't get the trophy. in total they are 28 , so i have enough people, what am i doin wrong?

My Blackberrys are running low... whats the next food sorce and how do I get it?

Unfortunatly all of my little villagers died from starvation. I did eventually figure out the next food sorce (the hard fruit which I think are coconuts)but it was too late! I had one male child left and there was 0 food so he wouldn't of survived.

I started a new game with:

18 yr old female (With-child)
17 yr old female
14 yr old female
14 yr old male
12 yr old female

I would like to know if this is a good decision and I also have a few tips:

1) If you have a villager doing nothing get them to reaserch or create cutting tools

2) If you have lots of villagers make sure they all do something! Even if you get half your females to have kids thats good enough

Also a question:

Does anyone have any tech point tricks? Ways to get tech points faster? (NOT COMPUTER CLOCK!)

It can be a good idea to have 2 or 3 tribes running at once. Then you can set one tribe to clear the Debris another to collect tech points and another to collect fish! That way if you leave one tribe for about two hours you could find they have progressed more than the one you were playing on for the duration of those two hours! Cool eh?

I'm having a problem. No time is passing on my game. It's very weird. And no It's not paused. The game has been running for days. The people are not aging. It would actually be kind of cool except that I have 11 villagers and 2 of them are nursing. They've been nursing for almost a week now!! They can't do anything so 4 of my 11 villagers are useless and have been for a long time. I am playing 3 games at one time and the other two are fine. I was just wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem. They are still able to build houses and collect tech points and get food. They just aren't aging. And I can't have any more kids obviously since they nurse FOREVER!

How can I make it rain?

Looks like a technical problem. Try contacting the place you bought it from, they should have the solution.

Well I restarted the game where they weren't aging and it's not happening again so lets hope that is that.
In one of my other games I'm having trouble with hummingbirds.
I don't have any hummingbirds. I haven't seen not one. I have bought level 2 science, level 3 medicine, level 3 learning, level 3 construction, level 2 food mastery, and level 3 dendrology. The tree of life is 1 away from full recovery. I don't know why they haven't shown up. I can't decorate the tree without them. Please someone help.

I just figured out a way to get loads of tech points. Unfortunatly it takes 24 hours to do!

I have seen the hummingbirds. For some reason I didn't see them on either of my games untill I started to repair the Lei. Not sure why. But at least I figured it out.

Do nursing mothers count in the 25 villagers in the pool puzzle? I can put a nursing mother into the pond, which is disturbing because it looks like the baby is drowning. I was wondering if they count. Does just mommy count or does the baby count?

Ok so what is up with the fish scales? I have three games going right now. 1 of the games I've had going for a long time and I've found 4 fish scales. My other two games have been going for quite a while too, and I haven't found any fish scales on those two games. I do leave it running sometimes and I'm not watching. But I'm constantly looking I have spent more than an hour at a time looking and still none. I haven't collected all of the moseleum pieces or all of the wind flutes but at least they appear as repeat pieces often. But no fish scales. It is irritating me.

i have level 2 in everything and level 3 in food and learning. but i can't figure out how to catch those darn crabs! can anyone help with that?

For the pond trophy, drop one person in and then hit the space bar to pause the game, you can still grab others and drop them in the pond. Hit the space bar again when you are ready.

Mabey you misunderstood. You don't get five more villagers, your maximum population goes up by 5.

Unfortunatly theres nothing you can do to make it rain. You'll just have to be patiant and not leave the game unattended! It might have rained once and you could have missed it.

This is something I noticed: you don't need 20 villagers for the feast. I did it with 10 or 12. Do you have to have 20 for the worshiping or can you have less??

Also I have a weard thing going on in my tribe! (I caused it)

I started off with 5 (3 adults 2 children)tribes people(3 adults 2 children), when I had 5 adults (the children had grown up) I set one of the wimen in my tribe to parenting. #I now have 15 tribes people#. The woman I set to parenting has had 10 children! SHE'S STILL GOING! I left the game for the night with 11 , woke up to 14 , then she had enother 1! All my produced children are related (most have step-fathers though)

Set your game speed to either slow or even pause it when shutting your computer off this will avoid you comming back to dead villagers

The pulpy vine is just behind the fire on the wall...

Some tips I needed:

1.- for the pond tropy, make sure all the villagers say "going swiming" when you trow them on the water.

2.- You can make clothe even if you have full storage (6), it still counts for the cloth trophy.

3.- first technology: construction. just with this you can rapair the piers and build the fish nets. dont buy food or anything , you can live with the berry until you get the nets - just dont make babys and have only 1 kid so everyone is working.

4.- Dont fix the pier until you had build all the houses, becouse you have to keep one builder clearing debris, and when you want the houses the builders will take longer because they still clear debris all the time.

5.- to chose your tribe pick learners in first place, second runners and thirds workers because you dont spend much time teaching learners to do things and you will easily make them all scholars.

Oh and I must mention: If your come across an event I think is called The Wet book the 2 choices are read them where you are or risk getting the book to the shore, READ the book pages and do NOT take it back to land your peep gets ADEPT in all Catorgories!Its a nice surprize!=8)

why does the grand feast not work, I have added all the ingredients needed and when I get the adult to taste it, it always says unfinished stew, why???

I have two doctors who are masters and one doctor who is adept. I have my hospital therefore I have level three of my doctoring done. My sick people come to the hospital but no one will cure them, my doctors keep on studying. My sick people get up and change places and still no help. I have to take my sick people out of the hospital and then drop a doctor on them. Even if I drop the doctor on the sick person in the hospital they will not cure anyone in the hospital. How do I get the doctors to heal the sick people in the hospital?

Hey im kinda new here but my population is stuck at 90 how do i bring it up past 100? I have tons of food and everything i just need housing. but there are no more huts to build

I have played this game for days and have almost every piece of the masoleum only one. For some reason I don't seem to find it anywhere at all, doesn't matter how hard and often I search for it. Is there a timespan when these peices appear or what?

i have the love shak, and another hut is the other hut the clothing hut, if so, i have my sharp things and i know where the pulpy vines are, so why doesn't the villager have the 'sees pulpy vines'?

OMG!!! Villager just died aged 86!!!! Probaly cuz i got lvl 3 everythin and i completed all puzzles.

HELP!

my name is Jaleen and i have two problems:

first of all, i have finished the 'honor the tree' puzzle(and now have humming birds), and when i went to go make leis, it allowed me to fix the braided rope. but then when i wanted to put flowers on the rope, everyone refused because 'the flower is not in full bloom'. is there something else i have to accomplish? if so, does anyone know?

and secondly, i ALMOST have a scholar, except he just needs to become a master parent, as he is an adept one. i tried making him teach in the nursery, it wont improve it at all, i made him tell stories and it doesnt improve it at all, and i even drop him on the woman when trying to breed, but nothing even moves his expierence bar, does anyone know what could help me with this problem?

you need to accomplish tasks and have all the collectibles as well, it may seem meaningless, but with each task you complete you get extra room for 5 people in your village!

I am having the exact same problem. Every time I drop them on a woman it says that he has improved in parenting but the bar does not go up. I've tried it with three different villagers.

Hi there.. i was wondering how you make the villages burp bubbles? ive got them to hiccup but not sure how to make them burp bubbles.. ?

Some of my villagers are so slow and lazy, thought there'd be a stew to give them energy, no such luck!!! :(

drag an adult over to the pulpy vines on the rock wall/cliff beside the dry grass. they will then proceed to cut pulpy vine with the cutting tool. they will automatically cut three and put it on the potions table. meanwhile, heat a rock in the fire (assuming you know how to do that: you have to have cleared the oven where you roast your hard fruit, then drag an adult onto the rock pile by the stream and they will do the rest) after that you must use SALT WATER. its a crucial part or else your cloth willbe turned into stew. the salt water is in the ocean, obviously, so drag an adult to the bowls in the corner of the beach. they will fill the pot up with water, you then need to make the water boiling by dropping an adult on the now hot and red rock. once boiling drrop an adult on the table and they will make the cloth. after that, when the water has dissappeared and your boat is now steaming, drop your adult on it. they will carry the cloth to the beach and spread it out. keep dropping your adult on the cloth until its 100% finished making. (each time they work on the cloth it gets 10% more done)

KARA: drop adult villagers there and there action will say rescuing frogs repeat 6 times, when you rescue 6 of them and that is puzzle #6. Hope that helps!

I can't create the grand feast! I have tried several times I read the spoiler and I know I am getting everything in including the mushroom while its still boiling and it still says unfinished stew cooking. This is the last puzzle I need, all my others are completed so I really want to get it done. I have been trying for days and it just wont work. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there anything I can do to make it work?

Hi (: ohk I need help . Not with the actual game itself but I'm have some sort of glitch thing happening . It has NOT stopped raining for about 5 hours now . The problem with that is that veryone is trying to get out of the rain and I can't keep placing them at their work destinations . Please someone tell me if this is normal and how to stop it if possible . :-( I almost finished everything in the game too and only need two tasks to finish and some trophies . I don't want to have to start over or have them die from not working .

When that happened to me it was because one of the children was playing a prank on the adults and was putting them there. They went away after a few moment. There is nothing I saw that I could do.

I have a little mystery of my own. About six of my villagers have been knocked up by a man named Joey. He is not one of my villagers. I went through all of them and could not find them. He's not in the list of the dead either. I have no idea who he is.

Michelle & Shelby...you HAVE to be sure that you put the herbs on the tables in the correct order. It doesn't simply matter that you have the correct 3 herbs, they need to be retrieved in this order: soapy, spicy, sweet. Have one child at a time fetch each herb. If you do more than once, the wrong child might get to the table first. Hope that helps!

To do the grand feast, you have to add food from the food bin twice. It doesn't matter the order of the herbs.

I Noticed something cute, I just had a 2 year old child a girl, and she likes to play, so I watched her for a bit and noticed that she went underneath the stairs where the frogs are, in the puddles, when it rains, and she grabs the frogs, runs to the Marriage Hut, and places them inside and frogs jump everywhere! LoL.

vv4 puzzle 15 I'v gone through all the steps exactly and the person meditating just stays and stays over an hour one time and yes i do not allow others up there and the children are in the nursery. some times he looses his sparkles. and still doesnt end meditating HELP

you always have to add food from the food bin to make a stew for your villagers to eat. just drop someone onto the food bin & they will say, 'adding food to the stew.' then it will work!

under where the waterfall falls when you first start the game (on the right hand side of the beach, under the cliff where the wind flutes are) there is a rock on the sand. you need someone who is adept in both building & science to pick it up & they will take it straight to the hole.

I accidentally left my game running double speed so all my villagers died but one. I want to continue playing, because I have several things acomplished. I want to know if there is an island event that allows more people on to the island, like the barrell of babies, or when the couple fell over the waterfall like in Virtual Villagers 2. I know how to ctrl-alt-delete any event I get so that I can go through and view them all, but I don't want to waste my time if there isn't an island event that allows someone to arrive on the island. Any help?

HELP!! I have searched the island and can't seem to find the piers. Can someone give me a screen shot of where they are?

To finish the grand feast you need to make sure only one person is doing the cooking other than the child that needs to add the mushroom. Start with the three different herbs, then food, then the fish, the berries,the tree fruit,mushroom, then food again.

Styx the piers are on the right side, by the water, you have to fix them in order for you to use them to fish, You need construction 2 in order to do it after that you can fix them and remove the rubble from the cooking hole! =8) Hope that helps.
