For the clothing hut, you get the foundation when you get level 2 science, not level 2 construction. You get a second REGULAR hut when you get level 2 construction, just to clear things up. And as for your kids being grown, sometimes villagers will have babies by themselves. However, if all of them are sixty and up, maybe you need to start a new game? I know it sounds helpless, but sometimes villagers who are skilled in parenting may decide to have babies on their own, and this works no matter what the age. Hopes this clarifies things.
How do we build the clothing hut?
Hey, I'm trying to get a 'pure of mind' villager to purify the tree, but even though I've kept people away from her while she's meditating she keeps getting up and going to do other stuff while still 'sparkling'. How can I get her to finish meditating?
is there any way that I can save my village if I have a tribe of 5 with 4 villagers 55 and one of them is a girl? the other one is 10 and is a boy. Is there a way?
If you look near the blackberry bush you can see a tree. When I drag a villager over it says maybe this is hiding something. But when I drop a villager on it they are confused and say the rocks aren't hot yet. What does that mean?
So one of my villager accounts had 105 people and them they started dying off due to old age. I wanted to get the population down to 10 or so so i waited. While I waited, i let one of my old villagers get a child. Apparently she had twins! It was a good thing too because i waited too long and everyone except for the twins died of! XD So then i thought my best account was going to die off but then a barrel of children came in and I got 3 new villagers; 2 boys and 1 girl! I was soooooooooo relieved... and now I've got 16 villagers. It's started all over again! ;DDDDDD
I can't get my villagers to honor the tree, what am i doing wrong? I used sweet flowers and fresh water and added food, but they just eat it they wont take it to the tree. Help?
Hey how do I get the villagers to cut the "pulpy vines"? HELP ME!!!
How do I get more food? My berries seem to be low all the time D:
Does anybody know how to get cloth? Please help. I'm doing really good in the game i just need to figure out the cloth.
My tree is 4 levels above nearly dead but I still do not have any hummingbirds. When do they appear?
uhhhh i cant get my villagers to have babies...they constantly "go inside" and there parent skills are good but they wont have a kid! help me??
To save time, when I want two villagers to have a baby, I put one on top of the other and then before letting them get to the love hut, I pull the male villager away, and then the female. Repeat until you pull her away and she is carrying one. You save loads of time as long as tou pull away the GUY first!
Is it possible to empty the stew's water?
I put the wrong things in there and now it's cold and won't heat back up, I've tried to get a rock to put on the fire, but it doesn't seem to work.
How long does it take for the stew to be ready?
I have a quick question sorry if its been asked and answered.
I have max population at only 36 peeps. Admittedly two moms are carrying triplets, and one is carrying 1. I dunno where the max comes in at, and only 36 I need more, I'm gonna have a huge gap between babies and workers.
Can you only have so many babies in "development" at one time?
I have 3 huts.. (including the love shack)Plus School, and hospital.. Lvl 3 science learning and medicine.. level 2 in the rest.. Any help would be good. Thanks.
When you purchase level 2 science the foundation for the clothing hut appears. Just put it where you want it, then drop builders on it and they will build it.
Just keep trying, and make sure to keep the kids away.
Unless one of those women is the rare one who can have children over the age of 50, then probably not. The only other thing that could save the tribe is the "barrel of babies" scenario, and island event that brings more kids to your village.
Are you using all three sweet flowers? How many villagers do you have?
To get the villagers to cut the pulpy vines, you have to have the clothing hut built, you have to have the sharp tools made, and you need to drop them in the right place. Do you have the clothing hut and sharp tools?
If you solve the fire pit puzzle (at the lower portion of the screen), you can then harvest the fruit trees.
Hummingbirds should be appearing if your tree is that healthy, are you sure you're just not seeing them? They zip in and out really quickly.
Chrissy Chris -
Are your villagers under 50 (at least the women)? If so, you just have to keep trying. Also, do you have enough huts to support a larger population?
There is something that looks like a drain behind the stew pot. Drop an adult on that and they will empty the pot so you can start over.
As soon as the last ingredient goes in then the stew is ready.
You are missing the third hut, the foundations of which will show up when you purchase level 3 construction. Without that hut, you can't advance past about 35 population.
Thank you Grinnyp - building it now.. Was worried there for a sec!! Building on this one is sloooow.. I have loved all the VV games. I only wish that they would move a little faster. I sometimes nod off watching them walk so sloooowly.
Yeah, that last one takes a lot of builders and a lot of time. Once it's done, though, your max population jumps to 90.
Has anyone seen a ghost appear by the food hut area? I had a female appear very faintly then disappear. Does anyone know what this is?
how can you empty the pot? i got a recipe wrong and want to try it again.
by the way, don't try to catch a crab while another villager is already carrying one, it'll crash your game.
For the Grande Feast, if the pot stops boiling before you get the last one or two ingerdients in, it will say a cold un-finished stew is in the pot. You dont have to start over at that point, just heat another rock. Also, i find it works to pause the game (space bar) as soon as the pot has the herbs in it and then place everyone doing what they need to do. Press play and everything will happen at the same time!
Oh and 2 plates of food is neccisary for making the stew, not one.
If you follow the hummingbird either after you've finished the braids or before you've repaired one, drop everyone onto the flower it chooses, they will take a flower to the lab and you'll get hundreds of tech points per flower.
I am trying to make the grand feast, but every time I make the stew my villagers are taking the fish to the food bin.
Am I doing something wrong?
I am boiling fresh water, adding one soapy, one sweet and one spicy plant. Then I add blackberries, a mushroom, food from the bin and fruit from the tree. The villagers add them with no problem. When I try to retrieve a fish though they just take it to the bin. Is there some sort of special place I have to get the fish from?
Or, is there something else I need? (level 3 food?)
This is really frustrating! Any help would be appreciated.
on puzzle 6 the butterflies won't follow me y won't they?
Does your villager have green smoke coming from it?
Hey, I had this guy pop out of nowhere and told me " I have been watching your village, you look like wise people, so I will answer one question." There were two choices: how do we care for our people, and how do we care for the tree. I click the tree one and he said: " Ah, you are very wise." and he taught me level 3 dendrogley! Thank you random guy!
Hey I know how to get UNLIMITED tech points!
And how to get unlimited food!
My tree is 4 levels above nearly dead and I have level three dendrology. I just watched the hummingbird fly in, go to flower and fly away. But, when I try to drop a kid on it, it says this flower is not in full bloom. Why is this not working?
i try to put my master builder on the key stone for the tree but it says it needs job calculation
ok i only have 5 villagers and all of them are girls..... Do I need to start over? im really far...
no matter how many times i drop a male and female on top of eachother, she wont have a baby. she is 51 but i didnt think there was an age limit for having babies on vv4.
Hi, I've finished all of the puzzles, but why the games hasn't ended up yet??
how do i light the fire
I don't know if this is considered as a 'spoiler' or not so that's why I'm posting it as one.
To light the fire:
once you have put firewood and some dead grass on the fire, you drop an adult villager on it and they'll light it
Hi I cannot get the children to pick the flowers in puzzle 16.
I just finished the branch puzzle and my tree of life is now invisible. What happened?
If you build and light a fire, take a rock and put it on the fire using an adult, then when it is red, take it to a pot of water.
how can you build up your tech up faster?
I'm grateful for all the help i found here!!! But my villagers wont get fish to the stew, why? Is it supposed to be gold ones?
I just started this and I just want to post a spoiler about choosing your tribe.
It seems to be better if you pick the regular three adults, one little kid [about 2-11], and a kid that is 13. So you will have one Isola year of two kids collecting mushrooms and collectibles, and the next year they could start working when you first start the game.
I've figured out how to EMPTY THE POT!!!
I'm not sure if this works without having the stream complete but if you drag an adult over to the low well (cirle with lines over it) he'll walk over to the pot and empty it!!
how do you get other huts to build because i only see the love shack and another hut
what do you do with the tidal pool
how/where do u get the baby booster, i've heard it comes from the store but where do u get that from???
got it, i did it i did the great feast yayyy!!!
Why are all my women with babies going to the nursery school every time someone teaches? These are women over 40!
I have a nursery school but I did not get the nursery school achievement or milestone. Also, when I drop a child on it, nothing happens, and when I drop an adult on it, it says "Not enough skills to teach." Does a villager need to be a scholar to teach?
Wait, so is the link attached here for the game only a 1hr trial version, or does it actually last?
[Yes, it's a trial version. You must purchase the full game to play it completely. -Jay]
I have only one woman and she is 50 years of age and the rest are men and I really need to have children before everyone of them die of old age. What can I do? I have tried using the love shack with her and everyone of the others but she never comes out with a baby. help please!
Help! one of my female villagers had a baby girl that dislikes running, will she die? How do I fix that? I'm sorry , I'm just worried!
Yes, ghosts will appear when your mausoleum collection is complete. They are harmless and helpful, as they point out rare collectibles.
There's something that looks like a drain behind the pot. It is a drain, actually. :-) Just drop a villager on the drain and they will empty the pot so that you can start over.
Try bringing the fish first to the pot before everything else.
It can take a few seconds after the hummingbird leaves before the flower is in bloom. Keep dropping kids on it, eventually they will start taking the blooms to the braid. Presumably you have the braid repaired and ready to receive the flowers?
To pick up the keystone you need someone who is adept in both science and building.
Unless you get one of those random island events that will add a male to your village, your village may be doomed. You need at least one male to help repopulate.
Usually women will no longer get pregnant after age 50. There are a few rare ones who will, but they are few and far between.
Even after the puzzles are all solved the game keeps going indefinitely. You can keep your tribe going, train people, finish the collections, collect trophies, etc. As long as they are fed and keep breeding, the tribe will go on.
The tree of life is not supposed to disappear. You may have a bug in the game. If this is the case, you should contact Last Day of Work's technical support for a solution.
Some people have had trouble with getting the fish to the stew. Is the stew made before you try bringing the fish? Try dropping several people on the piers after the stew is boiling and see if one of them will take a fish to the stew.
You get new hut foundations each time you level up your construction level. Level 2 will get you a hut, as well as level 3. As for the tidal pool, that's where you find the fish scale collectibles.
The baby booster is a feature of Virtual Families, not Virtual Villagers.
The nursing mothers will take their babies to the school to learn as well. The babies are learning, not the moms.
You will get the nursery school achievement when you have someone teach at the school. In order to be smart enough to teach, they have to be at least adept in at least 3 different subjects. Esteemed elders work very well for this function if you have any.
What you have there is what I tend to call a "slowpoke", a child who does not like to run. They are not necessarily sick, they just don't like running. They will keep up that slow pace for their entire lives, but they won't die of it.
A person in need of help -
Unfortunately, most of the women in the game will no longer have babies after age 50. You can keep trying, she might be one of the rare exceptions. There are also a couple of random island events that can add people or children to your tribe, like the "barrel of babies" event. Hopefully, one of these will work.
Thanks! oh & one more question: How do you get more tech points? I have a nursery but not enough tech points for a hospital, i have level 2 medicine and I'm worried my elders will die off and there will be no one to teach!
The more people you have working in the lab, the more tech points you will accumulate. The more talented in science they are, the more you will accumulate (a master scientist will earn more than an adept, an adept will earn more than a trainee). Also, pick up collectibles ruthlessly. Each duplicate collectible will get you tech points. Common collectibles are worth 100 tech points, uncommon 250, and rare worth a whopping 1,500. Do you know the double collect trick with the kids? When a collectible appears, find two kids quickly. Pick up the first, pause the game, then drop the kid on the collectible. Pick up the second kid, hover him/her right next to the first kid (not right on top), hit the space bar to unpause and drop the second kid. If you get the timing right both kids will pick up the collectible. This is crucial for building tech points, especially in the beginning. It also works on mushrooms to build up food.
Is there any way to train doctors if nobody is getting sick? I don't have enough tech points to build a hospital, and I have this villager who is a master of every skill except healing, and he is an adept doctor, but nobody gets sick. In VV2 you could just get them to study the herbs around the island, but that doesn't work in this game. I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to get the Scholar trophy, so someone please help me out!
Never mind my last comment, I'm good, I have a hospital now.
Hey how do I get the villagers to cut the pulpy vines? I drop him in the right place, but he did nothing. and I already have the sharp tools and the clothing hut
I see there are golden fish in my nets, but no matter what I do, the adults that I drop onto the piers won't catch them. They just bring the ordinary purple fish. Why is this and what can I do about it? I've even tried dropping kids onto the nets/piers, and still nothing happened. Please help!
how do you get more tech points without getting collectables?
How do I get the food from the food bin over to the stew?
is it ok to fast forward time 30 min ahead?
hi,i'm just wondering how do i get tech points quicker?
I'm sure you have answered this question several times already, so I apologize for asking again....I have made the stew and remade the stew and I still cannot finish it. I have put in a variety of herbs and finish with food from the food bin....but it still will not finish. What am I leaving out?
Bonnie: when the stew is cooking try dragging a villager to the food bin and they should add to the stew.
Alicia: maybe you should complete the science collection. set the speed to fast and you could get half the collection done in just 20 minutes.(you might find other collectibles too.)
Ria: I suggest not. sometimes your villagers can get sick and they might starve. but since it's only 30 min make sure you pause the game. if you don't want to make sure you have sufficient food for 30 min(and leftovers too.).
I don't know why My tribe(villagers)we're dead because of starvation, but I left 1,+++ food in the bin....
now, 1 adult and 1 child is left...How can the only adult do all the thing all over again(like clearing debris, fixing the piers, harvesting berries-which ran out already, etc.)
I have my tree healthy except for the last level, i've done all the puzzles except decorating the tree and I have never seen a purple bird appear in the middle of the screen and then zip off to a plant...
I've read though all the comment pages looking for helpful information and see several different pieces of information - such as that the bird is hard to spot while another says it appears in the middle of the screen, hovers then goes for the plant... I've seen people say purple, then others say blue/green...
Which is it? why don't I see this bird? what am I doing wrong?
My game speed is set at 2x. It is taking years and years for my elderly villagers to become masters in any field. Is this normal? How do they ever become scholars, if so? I thought in previous games it was two years; is that not the case with The Tree of Life? Thanks!
Hi I've tried to do puzzle 11 (the grand feast) over and over, but when the stew has everything in it, and i drop a villager on it it says the stew isn't ready, what am I doing wrong?
Never mind, i found out that it needed 2 fruits from the fruit tree, and two foods from the food bin
Any tips on how to get people to stay in the pool until you can get 25 in? Thanks!
Hi, For puzzle 15 (the hole in the tree) I go to the base of the tree then the soap rack, I make sure all of the children are at the nursery and away from the base of the tree and then i keep dropping my person into the pool after putting in the soap yet they don't come out with the white sparkles. What am I doing wrong?
If you put some soap in the pool they will clean themselfs, and that way they will stay in the pool longer.
Just keep trying, maybe it will take a while to clean themselfs, you also have to wait untill they come out themself, so don't pull them away out of the pool while they are cleaning themselfs.
You have to put 2 people to the task of putting food in the pot from the food bin so 2 food bin food in the feast stew
I have a few questions to ask:
1. How can I make my villagers burping bubble? how to make the bubble stew?
2. I don't know how to make my villagers had hiccups.
3. What should my villagers do to get nursery scholar?
4. My current village population are 105. However, the village can't hold too many population. So, whenever they go 'indoors' they can't make a baby. Can I get new hut? How? My village only have 5 hut (3 hut, 1 love shack & 1 clothing hut).
Thank u.. hope u can help me..
im trying to cut the pulpy vines but why does it say 'this flower is not in full bloom yet!'
HELP! I havent gotten a baby boy since the game started and I only have one male left. What do i do??
How do you make the parents have twins and triplets??
all i have to do is the platter and when i got to add the tree fruit, the villager i put to shake down the fruit immediately adds it to the food bin and not the stew. This happens with the crab and blackberries too.
Also another thing is i cant get my population to reach 100 because it is said that there is not enough housing but i have 3 huts, a nursery, honeymoon hut, clothing hut, and doctor space so how can i get more housing ?
I have already done all the puzzles. I have the clothing hut but can only make up to 6 bolts. I have already decorated the tree. there doesn't seem to be anymore use for the bolts. But in the trophy area it says I need to make more. But I cannot make anymore unless I use the existing cloth bolts. What other uses can I use the bolts on? I am stuck
When making stews you don't have to bin a cold unfinished stew, simply reheat a stone and boil it again, completing the recipe.
have followed instructions above on how to complete puzzle 5 "butterflies" but am unable to get the butterflies to follow my villager. can anyone help me to solve this or explain why no matter how slow i move they wont follow? thanx for your help!
How do I solve the fish scale puzzle?
I dont know if this was mentioned yet or not, but heres a fun trick for earning tech points and food. When a collectable appears that you have already gotten pause the game and grab a child and drop them near the item so it says "collecting item for scientists" then grab another child and take them to the item, quickly unpause and drop them on the item, both will collect the same item. This trick also works with mushrooms and is a great way to stock food if your low or going for awards
Melissa: fish scales spawn near the fish statue around the shallow pool of corals
I have 90 people in my village how do I get more?
I know you answered this already but i still cant get the fruit off the tree!!!!!
Hi can anyone help, Im trying to make 'grand feast stew'I have put in the food, tree fruit, blackberries, fish and mushroom all were in pot before it stopped boiling but when i drop villager on pot it says still need something else. Im at a loss I did pause it while i dropped a villager on each ingredient could it be that?
Hope someone can put me out of misery
HELP!!! I did puzzle #2 but there's like a hole or something and every time I put a villager ( grown up ) on it even when the water is not there it doesn't do anything!!!! I Huey can't do it HELP!!!!! PLZ!!!!! I just can't do it!
