Well, I loved this game. I would, though, have liked to have seen some harder levels. The 15 provided didn't take me very long at all to complete.

Anyway, here's the level I made:

http://pastebin.ca/1314450

There are two solutions that I've found, and neither of them uses all of the items in your inventory.

Anton's level seems broken.

mscaa, that was brilliant! And really difficult :)

Here are two more levels

MAZE

http://pastebin.ca/1314793

CHOICE - there are two different ways to solve it. Can you get both?

http://pastebin.ca/1314794

{.2)/1/01B10"20>[email protected]+70"80"@3CA0"B0"D0DJ2)L1(M0%N1&O06T0#^00a22j1)m14n09o0?~&'%--!~}

bit random!!!

Does connection speed play a role? I can't get past a very low level, even with hints, because it takes so long for any one reaction to even begin, much less cause the next reaction. And by not being able to place items while the power is on, I can't see a solution.

I'm on high speed wireless, but it's cable so is a bit uneven, and I'm using Firefox which can be really super slow. I'll try it on Opera just to check.

No, the connection speed doesn't matter in game-playing. The reactions are designed to be slow. You can even see a laser beam "growing".

I'm using Firefox, too. No problem here.

I gotta say I'm surprised that people aren't being more critical of this game. I had a number of problems with glitches, from robots running through barriers, balls not knocking off some of things they were suppose to and magnets turning around that made some of the puzzle seem impossible. I had to close out and restart it a number of times in order to "reset" it.

A good and fun concept, but sloppy execution.

One more level:

SHUTDOWN

http://pastebin.ca/1315178

It illustrates some strange effects of knocking out components with different timing. Almost like there's some cancelling of current going on? Or a harmless bug?

Warning: the level behaves differently each time you try it, giving you a variable window of time in which the correct solution *probably* will work.

I love this game so much.

I sat and spent ages making a level, known as PawClaw lol

http://pastebin.ca/1315187

If anyone can beat it you get cookies cause I think I forgot how already =S

Pastebin is playing up at the moment. I've created one more level - the last one (got to get other things done!)

I've made another level. This one should be even harder than the first, I think. All items are used.

The solution relies on something that shouldn't logically happpen, but it does happen every time. Unfortunately, the timing occasionally gets thrown off for some reason.

Hint:

If two bots are moving towards each other, when they meet, they will pass through each other, along with the items they're carrying.

In my previous post, I forgot to mention that the title of my first level was "Starter Engine". Most people probably saw that on pastebin. I titled this one "Gremlins".

@Tom

@Mistify

@mscaa

and all others

I really like many of the brilliant levels you made. Currently there are only 15 original levels in the game and I want to add at least 15 more levels. Do you guys mind if I took some of yours levels? I'll surely credit all of you as the level designer in the game.

P.S: I cannot access pastebin right now. And I did omit the angle brackets. Candystand will upload that version soon.

Thanks,

oops sorry :D and I cannot see your levels from pastebin, their server is down I think, :( can you post them like Tom did

@Tom

At last I beat the TEMPLE, still fighting with GRIDLOCK, I like the artistic style specially the ac/dc, hydro and maze.

@Scarybug

I found a shortcut way to beat your level. I never thought of making the level editor unless you told me, thank you very very much for the idea :)

@MIckGJ

That would make the level codes more lengthy, so I didn't implement it.

If you are going to update the game, I suggest trying to iron out the bugs. Some that I've noticed are:

-Items may flip after running

-Bots and the items they carry may not reset after turning power off

-Miscellaneous things not working(electricity stoppping mid-wire, items not detatching when hit by ball, etc), esp. while running on Opera.

-Graphical glitches when switching between editor and play modes.

The game itself is realy good,solid concept, but these bugs are really detracting from the experience.

I've finished my fourth level. :)

"Mountain Trail"

I also cleaned up my first level a little bit.

There's only one solution now, and all items are used.

@TSG:

Great game! Thanks, I've thoroughly enjoyed playing it and look forward to trying my hand at designing some levels myself--when I get time. :-)

If I may, I would like to make a few minor suggestions which I think would enhance the game:

1. As you've no doubt noticed, people like to give their levels a title, so it would be nice if the editor provided a titling function and the game were to display it somewhere at the top.

2. A reset button would be good, to start over again as if just entering the level.

3. It's quite difficult for an old-timer like me to remember which pieces I've placed--and are therefore moveable--and which pieces are fixed; so I spend half my time trying to move immovable objects! :-D So it would be great if there were some way to distinguish between movable pieces and fixed pieces--some shading around one of the sets, maybe?

I made yet another level. THis one I call Hoover Dam:

{!0#$2|%0$&0#'0"(1B+0#.2D/0$02550#72%80#90"?0"A05B0"C0"D0+K16L0"M0"O2)U0"V0"W06Y0#]0"^0"_06a0$b0"e0#g1)h0"k0#o0#q1+r0"s06u0"v0"x0+y0&~(-934)&9~!C"+#0+C,C-/[email protected](A?K.}

Tom,

Yeah, that's pretty much the same shortcut I found (I had the kettle and a fan on the other side of the 'G'). I don't know what putting a block in that spot would do, though. That kettle isn't neccessary to the solution where it is, as the preset kettle can supply the steam to power the 'G'.

It seems to me that the bottom part of the level is not the problem. At least, every way I can see to fix it from the bottom would change the intended solution. Also, I really don't want to put anything on the top of the level (other than the power source), just so it looks good.

I had to fix so many shortcuts with this one while I was testing it. Maybe it was because of the simplicity of the level. In any case, I'm definitely going back to making more complex levels.

Okay, TSG, if the bottom-left fan faces left on this version, you can't complete the level.

My fifth full-sized level is ready.
