Help !! I have 2 master builders now and i hav cleared the vines and repaired the buildings and created the dam and hav build the house.. Is it possible for me to open the crate?
ok my villagers keep on dying making me start over every time because of the stupid algae! i have all my villagers researching cause i know you have to reach level 3 farming, and 1 villager on food. but then they can't fish and the coconuts are gone and no other food source. what do i do?! please help
I ran out of firewood. Does anyone know where I can get some more?
Terra, you ran out of firewood??? How did that happen? If your fire went out just go to the bottom left corner and grab some firewood. that pile of wood shouldn't run out... not that I know of at least.
Nicole, you should start off with only one farmer and rest scientists. get the farming tech 1 first. Then work on getting engineering tech. Once you get those two immediately build the dam. Don't worry about building a house yet. Once the dam is built, make the scarecrow so your crops don't get stolen by the birds. By now you should have made a couple babies but don't go overboard or you'll still run out of food. Don't have too many farmers because I think that the food gets old and disappears even if the villagers don't eat it so there is no point in having a surplus if it gets old anyways. So have like 2 or three people farming and the rest researching while still making a couple babies. I'd either work to get the exploration tech next or work on farming 3 next. The exploration tech will help you with being able to make stews which can help you live if you happen to come back and notice that your villagers are all almost dead and need a fast pick me up. From there I think you should be able to get keep your village alive for good.
thank you so much, i'll try and see what happens
Does anyone know why villages stop becoming elders and getting Totems.
I have a question: is there a walkthrough for the demo? Because i'm not allowed to download it.
How do i get more tech points??
OK, the answers to some questions:
The dry grass is all the way in the top left corner, it's the plant with the purple flowers up there.
The gong piece/shiny thing in the pond is gotten by making a stew with 2 orange flowers (from the center south side) and 1 black flower (next to the waterfall, on the little vine thing). Then have someone eat it and place them in the pond.
If the ocean is polluted, get by on mushrooms til you have 1500 tech points and buy the next level of farming. Then you can place villagers on coconut trees and have them climb for food.
If you think you're going to run out of coconuts, make everyone research and get 5000 tech points, then buy level 2 in engineering. Put someone (preferably a builder) on those 3 rocks where the stream is very thin. They will build a dam. When the dam is done, you'll have irrigation and can grow many crops.
Healing is learned by placing a villager on a sick person. If you don't have a sick person, place the villager on the various "strange plants" around the island. They'll improve.
i got an esteemed elder... he is 33.. but i got no totam for him...i only have 2 totams so far...i cant find my 3rd one...what did i do wrong??
thanks for your time...
why are my villagers only having daughters? ive only got a few men left and theyre getting older.. do i have to do anything particular to have boys?
Becca, here is the walk through.
Coral, the max is 50 totems, 50 esteemed elders.
Moe, you get tech points by putting villagers on researching and kids gathering extra collectibles.
FOR THOSE WHO NEED TO MAKE BUILDERS
There is a stew that you can brew (at least 2 of them actually) that will increase your villagers construction
1st stew: Use 3 of the red tulips by the vines.
2nd stew: Use 2 of the red tulips by the vines and 1 red star flower at the bottom.
To make stew, you will need water, food and 3 herbs
TO IMPROVE PARENTING SKILL:
Take a child and an adult to the village center. Place the adult on the child, and he/she will tell that child (sometimes other children will come too) a story. When he/she is done, their parenting skill will have increased. You can do this as many times as you need to.
Also, whenever a couple kisses, they have the potential to make a baby. They do not need to "go indoors" in order for a baby to arrive.
There are 56 different stew combinations. For ease in keeping track of which I have tried, and which I have not, I numbered the herbs 1-6, and then listed the combinations out in an excel spreadsheet. You can have up to 3 of the same herb in your pot. There are some really good stews, and I found one that Restores your villager completely back to health.
I reached the max population of 116 with 4 hots wouldn't let me increase my population anymore. how can i increase my population?
Anonymous , 115 or 116 is the max. You have to wait until someone dies to make another. You can't get higher.
I still have my game running. I am trying to make all the villagers blonde. I taught one man, who is blonde, to be master parent. I put his detail on parenting. When someone dies he will make a baby. I wait to see if they are blonde. Right now about half my people are blonde. When he dies I detail another blonde man to parenting. My population has stayed at 115.
I am stuck at pop of 116 with 4 huts how do i increase my pop.
hey i have 3 engineerings that have worked on the 2 buildings and the dam but they dont come longer then to adept builder why is that...? thanks...
p.s sorry for my English it is because i am danish...! :)
I wanted to warn you. Last night, with 115 villagers, I rang the gong AND guess what it took ALL my food. I had like over 5,000,000 food. Man it was a mad panic for me to put everyone on farming and get as much food as I could. It all worked out okay but I will never ring the gong again.
I lost the cauldron how do i get it back??
hi! can anybody please help !! I don't find any beetles and pebbles anywhere? where can I see those items? Also, my villagers are not growing up. I have been playing the game for about 5 days now but my villagers are not growing old.
Anonymous, did you try pausing the game and leaving it then coming back and see if it's back.
jrind , Beetles are found in the area in front of the gong, where you clear the thorny patch.
Pebbles are found in the mosaic area after you build the dam.
Your villagers will grow older after time. It takes quite a while. Are you playing the hard game? I noticed that it takes longer for things to happen in the hard game.
Don't play with your computer clock, that may mess up your game.
where should the cauldron be after you find it?
Anonymous , I really don't know where. Maybe by the fire or back in the wood pile.
are there any stews for other skills. I know there are are two for builders so I thought maybe there would be others, any help?
How do you get the crops to grow so they can pick them? I've built the dam and the scarecrow. The spot sprouted up crops the first time but now it just keeps saying crops will grow in x mins. It'll get to like 20mins and restart. how can i stop that?
i was wondering if all the totems are different or are some of them the same?? i have a few totems but a few are same..is that part of the 50 totems even if they look alike?? or do they all have to be different??
thanks for your time....
LadyNiteWolf , I don't know what you can do. Never heard that before. Did you mess with your computer clock? That may have an affect on the game.
lynn, there are 8 different totems. You will get a lot of repeats.
i have done all the puzzles what do i do now????
has anyone encountered their tribe building a raft and having eight people set out on it? if so, what happened?
eliza, your game is done BUT what I did was continue to get the 50 totems. My game is still running. I am now trying to get an all blonde village.
Rafting , nothing happens other then you lose 8 villagers. They sail off into the twilight zone.
A tip for the orderly lol
I have been playing VV2 for a week or so and am finding it very entertaining. I have completed all the puzzles and I am now trying to build up a few more totems!
As my population reaches 62 I find it hard to keep tabs on who is doing what so as I have quite a high amount of tech points I have given my workers uniforms! All of the builders are in the same outfit, the researchers are in the same outfit etc. and I have to say it works well for me...I can tell at a glance who has sneaked off to join another group and when I fish one sneaky little person out from the pond I know exactly where to put he/she without keep clicking on details.
I also find it easier, when trying for totems, to select a group of people and move them onto different jobs all together then swap them around from time to time,ie, swap all of the builders to research, all of the researchers to farming...
I just thought that I would share this with you in case anyone else wanted a try!
one more question lol sry
around what age do villagers normally die?
oh yea and what in the world are totems?!?!?!
lol im still a noob, first day on the game lol help me out here~!~!~
BurritoBoy, most of my villagers died in their late 70s. I had one live to 100.
You get a totem pole when a villager masters three skills. They become an elder. So when one person masters say farming go to detail and put them on maybe building and wait until that is mastered then switch maybe to research. It takes a long while so be patient.
FYI, Does everyone know you can move a totem pole? When I first started I didn't know that and they were getting in the way.
please help me,
i'm playing online and don't have the full version and i can't seem to get any of the puzzles in either of the virtual villagers and i cant buy anything with my technology points
I've been playing VV2 for quite some time now and I've only been able to get 91 population. How is it possible to get 115? I've solved all the puzzles, gotten all possible techs and there's nothing left to build.
Is it worth buying science technology?
And how do you train your building skill after you've already built the new hut, repaired the old hut, and built the dam? Is there some "infinite" thing to train your builders on? (eg, farmers can train their skill forever because the fish is unlimited, and they can keep planting the crops. Same for the Scientists because the research table never runs out lol)
i have completed all the puzzles but i cant get the last piece of the gong on the walkthrough it says i need to drop a totem in the middle of the mosaic i have done this with all of my totems but nothing happens help what am i doing wrong??
carol, all I can say is buy the full version and start over.
ok heres my story: i had 13 villagers in a cycle of the algea problem and i started farming. it seems every time it takes longer.ok i leave for A DAY all but 3 of my villagers die. 1 girl 2 boys. i tried to make them have kids no luck any hints for babies? please i will help people when i recieve help Ps: food isnt problem anymore got algea eating fish
How do you get rid of the algea in the ocean???
How do you get algea eating fish???
fred red burger , to have a baby the girl has to be 18 or over and under 50. The male must be over 18. Just keep trying.
dragon, the algae fish. . After purchasing Level 3 of Farming Tech, take a master farmer or master scientist to the pond, where they will collect algae-eating fish that they can use to repopulate the ocean. Once sufficient fish have been placed in the ocean, the algae will once again be under control and the villagers will have unrestricted fishing.
How do you make a master healer and farmer? I have had several people on farming and healing for days and no one seems to get past adept. For the healer, I've tried taking them to the plants to study, and I also gave my villagers the stew that makes them sick so that my adept doctor can get practice, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. For the farmer, I've had people on for 3 days at adept, harvesting crops and collecting coconuts, but no one seems to progress past adept...what do I do?
I need help. I have been playing this a while yet no one seems to be getting past adept level and I can't unlock anything but a few puzzles. and the dam isn't going fast enough. and is there someway to make my villager "master" the plants because she has been wandering around the village "studying the strange plant" but she hasn't mastered any of them. Any hints or strategies would be much apprieciated...
moi , you will have to just wait. They will master a skill after a long time.
Tezmara , If your villager is wondering and ''studying the strange plant'' they are a healer. Put one villager, maybe a farmer, on the herbs. Be sure it's the same villager you drop on all 6 herbs.
Click on the dam and it will tell you how much is done. Keep checking. Put as many builders on building the dam to make it go faster.
HELP!!! I only have two females for my village! I had 3 but one died and my others are 46 and 48 so they will soon be old to have babies! Everytime one of them shows up with a kid, it's a boy!!! I've tried every possible combination of "husband/"wife" but I have a tribe of 37 and only 2 are female!!! HELP PLEASE! I can't get my tribe to grow 'cuz only two can be pregnant and I'm so worried they will be past their prime soon and won't be able to have any more kids! Seriously...please help! THANKS A TON!
Okay, I need help! How do you make stew!!
I feel stupid!!
Jenna, to make stew, you first need level 2 exploration. Now, remember the wood pile where u get the firewood? There should be something black there after you've purchased lv2 explo. Drag an adult villager to it, then he/she will carry the black thing aka the cauldron to the fire.
Now place an adult villager on the cauldron, he/she will place the cauldron on the fire.
Place him/her on the cauldron again and he/she will fill the cauldron with water.
Now drag him/her to one of the herbs (wierd plants) around the village. Make sure your villagers already understand those herbs, if not, drag him/her to the herb twice. Once for understanding it, once for collecting it.
Now, he/she will carry the herb back to the cauldron and place it in it.
Repeat the step two more times so the cauldron contains 3 herbs. These herbs can be the same or different.
Drag the villager to the cauldron again and he/she will add food to the stew.
Now i don't remember if you need to drag him/her once more, but if you're successful, you'll solve puzzle #9.
Here's a useful stew recipe
2 purple herbs and 1 orange herb restores the villagers health completely (only for the villager that ate it, not for the whole village)
Here's a recipe you NEED to solve puzzle #15
3 red herbs. with it the villager has no need to breathe, and therefore can retreive the sunken gong piece in the pond
good luck, hope this wasn't too confusing =D
Jenna, Puzzle 9 is the ability to make various stews for your villagers. To make stew, you will need to have purchased Level 2 of Exploration Tech, retrieved the cauldron from the wood pile, mastered at least one of the special plants, and started a fire in the fire pit. The steps to make a stew are: 1) Drop a villager on the cauldron to put the cauldron on the fire 2) Drop a villager on the cauldron again, and he or she will go get water for the stew 3) Drop a villager on any of the mastered plants, and the villager will gather herbs for the stew. Each stew requires a total of 3 herbs, in any combination. 4) Drop a villager on the cauldron again, and he or she will go get food to add to the stew. When the stew is complete, the villager will move the cauldron off the fire. Some stews are good, some are bad, and some make your villagers do interesting things. Experiment and have fun with them.
Help! I keep having to start over, because when I leave the villagers (unfortunately work gets in the way of full time babysitting of the villagers!) when I come back the next day, they're all dead, there is no food, and the fire has gone out. How do I keep them alive?
I LOVE this game!!!!! speed can be slow, but all in all it's great!
I can't get my kids to find mushrooms. Where are they, and how do i look for them? thanx
Shelly, you should pause the game when you leave. You do that by clicking your space bar to pause and click it again to unpause.
Emma, mushrooms pop up any where on the island. Keep moving around the island and when you see one drop a child on it. They will pick it up and put it in the food bin.
I know about this cute little cheat, here it is
On the desktop, in the bottom right hand corner it displays the time. click on it and you will get a box with a clock and the time on it. Change the time forward and hit OK. Most of the time it will make the game go faster. Say it's 5:30 pm and you have a 13 year old kid. you change it to 6:00pm and the kid is 14. After your done if you wanna change it back to 5:30, go ahead. moving the time backwards will have no effect on your village. But beware, occasionally the game figures it out if you do it to often, so wait and hour or two before you do it twice.
Hope this helps.
I figured out another cheat! Yay for me!
If you see a mushroom or an item like a shell or a beetle, pause it, then drag all the kids you have onto it, then unpause it. Usually half of the kids you put on it will get it. So say if you put 6 kids on a mushroom, then 3 pf the kids will carry a mushroom to the food bin. In all, instead of getting 6 food you'll get 18 food
I can't seem to solve puzzle no. 14. I drop the totem in the middle of the mosaic but nothing happens. All I see is dust. Please help. That will be my last puzzle to solve.
Help plz! I am playing the online verson, and my fish is gone, and my cocnuts are short. How do I get food, other than random events? Remember, I don't have the full version.
Is this bad?
people are talking about setting the skill and job how do you do this??? please help
Mel , I think you may have bought the bad version of the game. A lot of people have not been able to solve that puzzle.
coolest_on_web, I don't think the on line version works like the full version. You may have to buy the full version and start over.
eyntd ,Click on a person then click on detail at the bottom right. You can set each villager to do a job. Then click done. you go back to that villager and drag and drop them on the job to teach them. Sometimes it takes a while to teach them. Just keep trying.
hi, please help!! my villagers are not getting old.. i have been playing the game for about 3 weeks, i've solved 6 puzzles already but I still have 4 adults and 8 is my population...is this normal?
how do i do the scarecrow?
I love this game! My daughter and I have solved all the puzzles--with the unabashed use of cheats-we really just wanted our "kids to live long and prosper". We now are in the management phase...earning totems etc.
I am curious about Science. We managed to "solve" all the puzzles without buying level three science, so when we finally did buy/get it, we were hoping for some miraculous event. Nothing happened. What, specifically, does level 3 science do? Did we just get lucky by solving things without having it?
I started my village on the web and then purchased it. Everything I'd done on the web version transferred to my computer and I didn't have to start over.
i have 9 pop and 4 are females 2 are pregnant and then the rest are kids. What do i do im low on food?
How do i solve the 14th piece of the Puzzle?
Rare glitch! I rang the gong of wonder and it took all my villagers to death!
Ducky, Isn't that awful! Are you going to start over? If you start over set it on easy for a faster game.
I thought it was bad when the gong took all my food. I will never ring the gong again. My game is still running.
How do you clear the vines to make a scarecrow? And by the way, I have an elder who is 41 years old, and I have no totem. How do you get that place under the dam for the mosaic to appear?
Hey! I was just wondering if we could start collecting gong pieces, without having the ancient circle thing uncovered? Im almost at 3 master builders, and want to open the crate but I dont have that little area uncovered yet... will it still work?
What kind of stew will make better builders?
I read the comment saying to use 3 red tulips or 2 red tulips by the vines and the star flower .. but it doesn't make better builders...
all it tells me is it gives them a burst of energy
There isnt a stew to make better builders. Most of the effects of the stews regard the villagers health, with only 3 making them actually do, or be able to do, something else.
The web version works just as well as the purchased version. I have the web version and have completed all the puzzles and have a very happy village. One of my females is glitched, but it doesn't matter. The only thing that happens is that whenever her nursing time reaches zero and a new kid appears she always immediately has another kid. She is almost a master parent. yay...
Hey Can someone tell me how to solve the 14th piece of the puzzle to complete the gong. i have 5 totem i placed one in the center of mosaic and nothing has happened. Can someone HELP ME PLEASE.
Is there something that i am missing?????
I have completed all my puzzles and got the gong too but i did not buy level 3 of exploration and level 3 of science, if i buy, will something happen? maybe like getting the tech points faster or something like that? And 1 more question!! That time when i have 1 totem, i put it on the mosaic and the gong appeared, and i asked 1 villager to pick it, and out of curiosity, i put the totem on the mosaic again and the gong appeared again and i didnt ask anyone to pick it up, so it remained there, is that alright? Please tell me!
I have a pop of 90 with no Children. Is it possible to "Kill" villagers to make more room for children? I cant pick up collectibles with no children.
To Ryan :
You can try the stew that can make your villagers sick? :)
How important is the gong?
I had 3 master builders, they opened the crate, they carried the piece to the cave - it never showed up.
I don't think I can complete the puzzle now.
How do you make the scarecrow??
What do you need to do to make the cutting tool to cut away the dry shrubs near the cave and how do you make it??? please help me!
How can a built a new hut? I need a master builder to became a Esteemed Elder (puzzle 6) and I have't nothing to built. HELP ME PLEASE. Sorry my english , I'm portuguese
Angie, After you complete the dam (and have a farm), drag an adept or master farmer to the twisted pieces of wood and vines that are located in the northern portion of the village. The scarecrow requires two trips to complete, so make sure that you finish the construction, or your crops will not be protected.
Marjorie , leave the game and come back. See if the piece is in the gong.
Denise,After purchasing Level 2 of Exploration Tech, drag a master scientist to the northern part of the village where he will see something among the rocks near the twisted pieces of wood and vines (look for things that resemble spear tips that have little sparkles coming from them). Your scientist will need to make a second trip to finish the tools, so take him to the twisted wood and vines (where you got the material for the scarecrow) to get the necessary materials.
HIRO , drop a builder on a hut and they will repair the hut. This will advance the skill. You don't have to build a hut.
You get your cauldron when you get the engineer, too, right?! I got it and it didn't appear in the wood pile!?? Help please!
Thanks I will try the sick thing.... and...
When I ring the Gong Nothing happens. Everyone goes over to the gong and watches, but nothing other than that. Ive tried ringing with a master parent, master builder... Am I just unlucky?
It says 90 people is my limit. There isn't enough housing... but somebody said they have 115 people. How do you do that?
Angie, you will need to have purchased Level 2 of Exploration Tech, retrieved the cauldron from the wood pile, mastered at least one of the special plants, and started a fire in the fire pit. Just keep looking for the cauldron in the wood pile.
Ryan, when you ring the gong watch what the game says at the bottom of the screen.
Candice, you get 115 population when you have found all the collectibles.
OK, so I just got VV2 and I've been playing it alot. But unfortunately, I have a problem. I can't figure out how to get the irrigation system thing to work. When I put one of my farmers on the "fertile soil" it says that it is too dry to plant there. I am out of coconuts and there is algae in my ocean. PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME!!! =(
I found a way to get your parents to become master parents pretty quick!!! find a woman over 50 and find any man over 18 and make them kiss over and over again, until one or both of them become master parents!
how do you open the box by the sea
What is with the ancient floor at the bottom right?
gameXxXgurlXxX94, Puzzle 2 is the construction of a dam that will divert water from the stream to an area that can be used for farming. After you purchase Level 2 of Engineering Tech, drag a villager to the rocks that are in the middle of the lower portion of the stream. You will see a message, "He/she could probably build a dam here."
lolman scott ,A team of 3 Master Builders can open the crate on the beach, where one of the pieces has been hidden
Angie, Puzzle 10 requires Level 3 of both Engineering Tech and Culture Tech. Drag a villager to the ancient covered floor in the southeast part of the village and they will begin uncovering the site.
Angie did you get your cauldron?
Yes, I got my cauldron. I remember how to get it after I posted the message.
I have all females is there any way I can get a male from somewhere?
what do i have to do to remove the thorny patch?
i was wondering..does anyone have all the stews they've tried?
OK i have 3 questions
1. where do i get the special wood?
2.where is the brown plant?
3 i cant change their 'clothes'!?! what do i press?
How do I get that piece from the pond- not the one you have to dive for- the one a little further down the water? I have placed everyone on there and no-one gets it.If this helps im playing the internet free-to-play version and i'm level 2 in farming and science. Thanks!!
Im playing the Flash version and I've trained one of my people to max in farming, building and research, but he's not becoming a elder- what's wrong?
I have another question: there are two pieces of something in the water in the shallow end of the pond- how are you supposed to get them?
