Weekday EscapeHi, it's Escaping Wednesday, this time including one beautiful adventure game!

Amajeto's locked you inside their living room from which you escape directly to the middle of Selfdefiant's enchanted forest. You may keep wandering around magic forests for a while if you want (links in P.S.), until you arrive to Fantasyland. The cure you need is hidden far in an old tower; however, the journey across Thomas Lean's word doesn't take long, sadly. The last escape is a bit dramatic - Spiceapp traps you in a cabin and threatens with a bomb...

Have a good time and enjoy!

Weekday EscapeHello escapists! The week is over and new games here!

We start with a small game from Dasshutsu site. It's just an appetizer. Then Team Beam Loop wants you to release twelve cats from closed apartment; there is a obstacle though. You're a ghost and immaterial entities can't handle items...you need to figure out how to help to your suddenly orphaned cats. With Smart Code we continue in escape from secret underground and it's not over yet, another chapter is to come. Wish it was soon! Classical escape by Springman Haruoroom is, well, classical. Nice and pleasant room with good and quality puzzles.

Have a good time and enjoy!

Weekday EscapeHi, the latest Weekday Escape arrived!

Selfdefiant trapped you in a strange factory - not many factories have a pool with purple liquid in the middle of a shop floor - but finding the way out is quite easy. Then you end up locked in tomoLaSiDo's tiled living room where is hidden one lily of the valley only and six capsules with key parts. Purple Cable introduces a demo longer than standard escape games (these days), strangely beautiful and whimsical. Rinnogogo too knows very well how to build atmosphere and deepen players' experience, and they prove it again in this game.

Have a good time and enjoy!

NeversongOnce upon a time there was a little boy named Peet who slept peacefully in a coma. When he opened his eyes, he found himself in a nightmare.

Upon waking, Peet's best friend was nowhere to be found. It is now up to Peet to investigate the screams coming from the heart of Neverwood; the increasingly bizarre behavior of the zombie grownups; and the strange truth about his own past in this haunting, otherworldly fable.

Weekday Escape RetroHi! It's retro time again, have fun!

Short Primera's game offers good puzzles for a start - then you get into Sanpoman's tiny room with giant stag beetle (luckily, mechanical) which hides your ticket to freedom - the key. First you need to find out how to operate the beetle, of course. Gotmail's game seems dangerous - you're caught in an apartment with ticking time bomb - but isn't. You have enough time to properly explore the apartment. Maybe the bomb will explode next year or something. Barking Games want you to get from locked basement - and also make some small repairs there.

Have a good time and enjoy!

Weekday EscapeHi, hope your week is fine so far - now even better with new Weekday Escape!

From Amajeto's room you'll escape easily with all the practice you have. Then you get locked in Akatsuki no Yado's one, a bit complicated due to the language barrier - don't worry, help can be found in the game's description. Spiceapp wants you to escape too, of course, and the last comes lovely Nicolet with nice story, cute characters and many good puzzles. Yay!

Have a good time and enjoy!

Weekday EscapeIt's Wednesday, it's escape time!

Amajeto locked you in their room and wants you to escape, and TomoLaSiDo as well. Puzzles aren't hard so it doesn't take long to leave to enjoy the lovely weather outside. In Spiceapp's escape you need to find your way out from a parked train, and possible breakout depends on (very) careful exploration of it. In the last game, Masa changed an ordinary office into an interesting place where almost every piece of equipment plays its role.

Have a good time and enjoy!

Weekday Escape RetroHi, it's time to have some fun from the past! This Weekday Escape is retro!

Vitamin Hana wants you to escape a room - no surprise - but also to redecorate it. Yomino Kagura isn't so demanding, their escape is just about hints and codes. We started with the No1game's series in the last Retro Weekday Escape (the second part in P.S.) and here are the remaining three parts. With the last Esc-Forest's we return to the best tradition of the genre - long story, many interesting puzzles and a welcome situation when a player thinks it's the end and a new area opens.

Have a good time and enjoy!

Weekday EscapeHello - the new WE is here! Wishing you beautiful spring and happy playing during this quarantine time!

Amajeto is definitely back and has changed remarkably, the latest game is bigger and feels more like their older escapes. Very nice. Shigeyuki Kagamura wants you to break free from a bear who imprisoned you - and only two months ago you were in a similar situation! Apparently, bears in Japan are getting out of hand these days. TomoLaSiDo's also wants you to escape and on your way to find some clovers. An important quest follows - you have to help to a team of escape artists who got stuck in Arktivez's game and aren't able to return on their own.

Have a good time and enjoy!

Room 28 2020 Japan BlueIchima Coffeedo created a new game, and it's great!

This game is a remake as their other recent installments, the original Room 7 Indigo Blue can't be played anymore. The graphics have been remarkably upgraded, pleasant tune was added and some puzzles slightly changed, and some are new. The room has enlarged and the playing time extended. Well done remake indeed!

Weekday EscapeHi, it's time for a break, it's escaping time!

Selfdefiant wants you to escape a desert temple which is, very conveniently, placed next to a stream so no worries of dehydration in case you stay here longer than expected. TomoLaSiDo locked you outside a door in open landscape and you're supposed to get in. Then you need to escape from standard Spiceapp's room and the last comes wonderful Nicolet, cute, joyful and smart.

Have a good time and enjoy!

We need youHello loyal, long-time users and readers of JiG,

During this quarantine time all around the world, we would like to see JiG more dynamic with more reviews to let you forget a bit this hard period.

If you like games and if you think you have the skills to write about them, why not join the team?

As you know, our funds do not allow us to pay the reviewers, but you can write one or two reviews per week (or fewer per month if you don't have time).

If you are interested please send an email to: [email protected]

In your email, please mention categories of games you would be able to review. (for example: indie games, Steam games, mobile games, PC/Mac games only, etc.).

Obviously, all our old reviewers are still welcome to join again and to write whenever they can.

Thanks in advance.

We do not forget to send all our thoughts to all the families who are affected by the virus.

Weekday EscapeHi! The week is over and the brand new Weekday Escape here!

Amajeto helps you to enjoy your stay at home and suggests some activities like looking for lost remote controller in coded drawers and finding ways how to open them. Masa wants you to cope with vending machine and discover secrets of a small lounge, and Pixel Kobo takes you to a nice Italian gallery and wants you to study the pictures they present very carefully. The master of emotional and magical games, Rinnogogo, made another beautiful one for us, touching story with clever puzzles, original art and fitting sweet and sad tune.

Have a good time and enjoy!

The Trader of Stories - Chapter 2Bearing the fruit of thoughtful craftsmanship, Rudowski Brothers gifts us with The Trader of Stories - Chapter 2. After spending nearly a Blossoming in the human city of Bark, Little Willow's life seems fairly ordered. She works as a waitress and storyteller in Gofung's teashop, has acquaintances - if not friends - and generally makes do. But amnesia still bothers her, alongside an odd sense of not belonging. Until one day, a tall, dark, and mysterious guest arrives. Will she find the answers she seeks, or will trouble find her first?

For the newcomers to this series: while Chapter 2 is indeed enjoyable as a standalone game, it follows an intricate storyline that is most comprehensively appreciated when its predecessors are played first. This installment of the Big Old Tree that Dreams series follows Bell's Heart; A Grain of Truth; and Chapter One. A useful feature of Chapter Two is that it's mobile-friendly.
