On the Edge of Earth: 5000 On the Edge of Earth: 5000 is a sci-fi adventure game by Roope Tamminen, originally developed for the Ludum Dare 48 game jam under the theme of "Connected Worlds". Generation Ship Generation Ship is a sci-fi Unity adventure game developed by Shide for the Ludum Dare 30 "connected worlds" competition. Trapped in space with only a snarky AI, players must solve the cold equations and bring your crew to safety. While maybe a little heavy on the too snark, and maybe a little too light letting you know what things will kill you before they've done so, Generation Ship is a satisfying space puzzle to unravel.

Skip's landed in Finland in this point-and-click adventure from Carmel Games, and he's desperate to meet the famous "sauna guru"... but first he'll have to perform a few weird tasks as you travel around to actual locations and maybe learn a little in the process.

PuppetShow: Lightning Strikes Young women who all look alike have been vanishing all over the city, and the clockwork critters are the least of your worries when a malicious sentient puppet dogs your heels as you try to solve the mystery in this less-than-challenging but wonderfully fun and creative hidden-object adventure.

Bik: A Space Adventure While camping, Bik is abducted by an extraterrestrial aircraft and so sets off on a 2D point-and-click adventure in the style of Space Quest and other beloved classic games. Soon he's joining forces with the aliens he befriends aboard a space freighter to battle bad guys and, hopefully, someday find his way back home. You can help and have fun while talking to numerous characters, solving story-based puzzles and completing the adventure from multiple perspectives.

Road Not Taken In this challenging, engrossing, evocative and creative roguelike puzzle game from SpryFox, you find yourself the ranger of a tiny, isolated town, tasked with finding and rescuing the children who go missing each year picking the berries the town exports. With randomized puzzles, stunning design, and a clever crafting mechanic, Road Not Taken is highly recommended.

Depression Quest A twine interactive fiction game where you play as someone living with depression, developed by Zoe Quinn, Patrick Lindsey and Isaac Schankler, Depression Quest hopes to offer empathy and sympathy for what can be a very painful condition. Some awkward prose is balanced by its ambitiousness in subject matter, and makes a convincing case for how games can help us all understand each other better.

Sherlock Holmes: The Tea Shop Murder Mystery The owner of the local Tea Shop has been murdered, and it is up to the world's greatest detective to crack the point-and-click adventure case in Sherlock Holmes: The Tea Shop Murder Mystery. Its a work that's designed to appeal more to fans of Carmel Games' other works rather than the Conan Doyle, as it were. But with that in mind, there's quite a bit of fun to be had: the acting is campy, the puzzles are goofy, the humor is silly.

Ghosts of the Past: Bones of Meadows Town You arrive at Meadows Town in the middle of one serious storm, only to discover that there's something more going on than downed power lines. With the bodies piling up and one spirit that seriously wants you gone, you'll have to dig deep to uncover the truth in this madcap hidden-object adventure from ERS Game Studios.

Riverside Fans of zombies and sepia tinged art rejoice! Hyptosis has come out with another installment of humorous horror with Riverside. Taking place in the same continuity of his popular Sagittarian series of games, Riverside is a faster, almost parodiac take on the apocalypse. It won't win over those cold on the Choose Your Own Adventure style, but fans of Hyptosis' work will find it a fun bit of comedy.

You Were Made For Loneliness You Were Made For Loneliness, a Twine narrative adventure by the Tsukareta author collective, weaves a tale of memory, the post-apocalypse, regret, murder, and in its own skewed way, love. Escape from NAGOYALAND Last month, the amusement park NAGOYALAND opened its doors in Japan, taking its name from the Nagoya cultures it reproduces. Whether or not the evil warlocks that dwell in a secret base in the park are part of that recreation is unclear. As Fairie Princess Satomi-- because we all know that Japanese fairy princesses double as secret agents-- it's your mission to sneak in, locate their secret base, and then, well, escape from NAGOYALAND. Perhaps this retro point-and-click puzzle adventure by Arata Takeya has a slightly absurd premise, but that's probably to be expected from a Japanese developer. Take a vacation to NAGOYALAND today!

Killer Escape 3 After the events of the first two games, you thought you'd finally escaped the crazed killers after you, but things are only going to get stranger in this latest chapter in Psionic Games' bizarre and entertaining point-and-click horror escape series!

Powerpuff Girls: Defenders of Townsville A licensed game that isn't terrible?! Way to go Powerpuff Girls: Defenders of Townsville! The free-flying platform exploration game from Radiangames brings Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup back to save the citizens of Townsville from the evil Mojo Jojo. There's just one tiny little hitch: they can't remember how to use their powers. It's so bad, they don't even know how to punch or fly! Crummy situation for them, but a perfect set-up for a power-up collecting ability-unlocking robot-smashing metroidvania game!

Heartwood Heartwood is a short audio-visual adventure created by Kerry Turner and Dan Bibby. It was inspired by folk tales, horror movies, theme park rides, and those dreams you have where nothing makes sense but everything "makes sense". There aren't really any puzzles to solve or quests to complete, just a small world of strange events to stroll through and experience.

Ramble Planet Ramble Planet is one of those quirky under-the-radar games you only get the privilege of stumbling across every couple of years. It plays like a scavenger hunt mixed with some RPG elements, though if you've been kicking around Earth planet for a few decades, you'll remember that most RPGs used to have that scavenger hunt feel to them. Ramble Planet simply takes that feature, intensifies it and peels off all the excess, sprinkling in some beguiling text snippets to spark your imagination.
