JohnBSoccer Challenge, the latest from JP at Pepere.org, is an online flash game where you play eight different mini-games with colored soccer balls. They're all very simple and you can jump right in and start playing, but be prepared to say goodbye to the next hour of your day.

soccer.png RunRun - Try to clear the screen by kicking colored soccer balls into their respective goals.

Ability - Guide a soccer ball through an obstacle course and keep it from touching the white lines.

GoalKeeper - The opposite of RunRun, your job is to keep the balls from reaching the goals for as long as possible.

Race - Drive the soccer ball through the obstacle course and to the goal as quickly as possible.

RunDrunk - The same basic goal as RunRun, unfortunately you're a little tipsy and can't really control yourself.

GoldenGates - Lines with a small opening sweep the screen and you must keep the ball on the field as long as possible.

BrickBreaker - It's Breakout... with soccer balls.

Invisible - Simply guide the ball to the goal. Oh, and the walls are invisible.

Just like all of the games at Pepere.org (we've featured several before), they have realistic physics and are simple but highly addictive.

Play.

It's called footbal, not soccer ;-)

It's called soccer here in the USA.

Found an annoying bit about the brickbreaker game-if you hit the ball at a certain angle, it will go back and forth horizontally on a very slight vertical tilt, so it takes ages to get the ball back as you can't cross the white line.

It's called merzakasine, not footbal. ;)

It's also called soccer here in Australia too.

Although I think it should be called football worldwide :D

I just found your blog, and I love it. My one suggestion is to set up a table which outlines certain elements (e.g. genre, download/Flash/whatever, controllers, et al.) to make it easy for the anti-download to avoid, etc. Also I'm German by descent and thus like tables and spreadsheet. Regardless, thanks for the great games!

MadWithMuchHeart - it's coming. Soon there will be a filter feature with which you display only the game types you're interested in. Unfortunately, it does not use a spreadsheet; however, it does use tables in the database(!) =)

My German blood will be very happy. Keep up the good work :).

The basic idea is nice (even though I've seen it before) but most of the mini games themselves aren't fun or innovative, just a pain.

These games are simply infuriating. Guiding a fat, laggy, far overpowing blob to navigate little balls is not a good gameplay mechanic.
