Johnny123 Chilled out, smart, and difficult without being frustrating, TacTicTos Studios' Quebrix is everything a puzzle game should be. The game offers you thirty levels of picture sliding puzzles set to a smooth jazz soundtrack that could play in only the classiest of elevators. Simply slide each segment of the picture to try and assemble a recognizable image. Take your time. There are more points for fewer tries, and you get rewarded with a deep inspirational quote from one of history's great thinkers when you succeed. It's like an interactive motivational poster, perfect for any mid-workday break. Also, the hint system won't solve the puzzle for you. You have a limited number of hints you can play that only move the puzzle one move towards completion, so if you run out and remain stuck, you're stuck for good until you earn more by solving puzzles with the minimum moves.

Quebrix Quebrix has a lot in common with "chill" puzzle games like Shurizzle: no time limits, no real penalties beyond a lowered score at the end. You solve each puzzle at your own pace. It must be said, there are more than a few levels that can be beaten with random swiping, so unless you're a stickler for good grades the game might feel a bit unmotivated. But challenge never killed a good puzzle game and the addition of more complex images and immovable quadrants on the pictures keeps things fresh as you surge into the higher levels. It's just a slow, relaxing piece of game design. In a world of gore-splattered zombie games and military shooters, sometimes it's nice to sit back and crack open a game like Quebrix. Check it out, and let the puzzles massage your brain.

Hoverboard> Dora Webcomic xkcd has been around for over a decade, and to celebrate the release of his new book, creator Randall Munroe has created a very simple piece of platforming interactive art. But venture beyond the small playing field, and you'll find a much bigger world than you thought that's full of surprises.  ...
Rock 'n' Roll Escape> Dora Pine Studio serves up a short but rock-worthy escape in your browser or free on iOS and Android as you try to find your way out of a cozy, abandoned little concert venue. But with a soundtrack this catchy, will you be able to resist air-guitaring long enough to escape?  ...
Weekday Escape N°103> Dora This week on Weekday Escape! no1game gets inside your computer and asks if you WANT TO PLAY A GAME? (Maybe you should call Matthew Broderick?) MayMay isn't letting you go anywhere until you get these snails out of the yard. And Vitamin Hana turns you right 'round baby, right 'round.  ...
Supermuzhik> Tricky Supermuzhik is an arcade-action sorta-shooter game by Aimar where the titular hero proves to be much better at "defeating evil" than "protecting the innocent", as he uses his telekinetic vision to fling the latter into the former. Viscerally enjoyable in its destruction, even if its difficulty takes a surprise leap about a third of the way in.  ...
