No shit, Sherlock!

A study over at the University of Rochester has determined that time spent playing video games may not be wasted afterall (ya think?!). As mentioned in an article on CNN, U of R researchers found that those who play video games regularly have better visual skills than those who do not.

Personally, I am well aware that there are benefits from playing video games as they helped me pull myself out of a life threatening situation, and they are the reason why I am now a 4.0 full-time student at RIT.

No, I had no idea, foxinthesn0w.

After losing my job due to downsizing, then my townhouse, my car, and then my cat to top it all off in the spring of 2002, I sunk into a deep depression for several months and made some unwise decisions with my life.

My love for games was the motivating force behind my purchasing a GameCube in November of that year, which I then focused on completely for several weeks. It was from playing games that brought me out of my depression and motivated me to pursue the games program at RIT the following spring, 2003, which is when I started this blog.

And I have much to be thankful for. =)

ahh, i thought meant something like a guy burst into a shop you were in and shouted "I'm gonna blow this joint if someone doesn't tell me the name of the shop keeper from animal crossing RIGHT NOW!" and you saved the day. XD

boy, you must love that gamecube! oh well, keep up the good work.
