Ascii art

Thanks to WeezBlog for the link to a very cool site, Typorganism, where I played with all sorts of interesting type-related interactivity in an elegant Flash presentation. There is a visual composer feature which allows you to play with various palettes of sounds, organizing them as you might use a sequencer. If you like what you hear you can even submit it for others to hear. Look for a couple of compositions by 'jaydub'. That's me. =)

There is even a feature where you can upload an image and generate an ascii representation of it, hence the text above. If only I knew Flash well enough to come up with something as brilliant as that site. So very cool.

Play with Typorganism

whoa the visual composer rox. Lots of songwriters these days have trouble "thinking" of music, so jsut randomly clicking and hearing something u can get very new unique songs - most of the time it sounds like jazz one of which i was quite proud of :D only thing they need now is more subdivision on the "seconds" (that is, more then 16th notes, like maybe up to 32nd notes or something for really fast stuff)

btw i love this site

Hunter - the site is called Typorganism, and the link in the entry above will take you to the site. I have also made it so clicking the image will take you there as well.

MANAX isn't positive, but he thinks that this was the turning point wherein Jay kinda finally started reviewing games and neat websites. What a day it was. MANAX declares April 3rd the new annual Jayisgames Crossover Day! Wooooo!

The heaviest weight you can achieve in "Weight" is 2,967,000 units by using 20 capital m's in Futura Book Bold.

'?', I beat you :p

20 capital w's on the same font (Futura book bold) makes
3,163,920 and I believe that that is ... 196,920 units more than the capital m's
