Ioana i am having the same problem...i can't see the items i pick up and i don't see any way to scroll!!
Kendra - The two pieces of paper were split down the middle ... so if it looks something like

3 B
4 W
2 Y
The first light would be red, the third light would be blue, the fourth light would be white and the second yellow.
Jasmine - It's very hard to see what's in the bottom of the dryer ... if you look really closely, or just drag your mouse over the bottom parts of the dryer it will turn into a hand.
Raven - Try clicking the button on the bottom right hand corner, the i in the circle, it's your inventory.
Ok, I'm riding the ferris wheel but I'm not seeing a book in the tree or anywhere else.... spoilers?
i finally found the wallet on the floor between the bed and window right and the bottom on the small drawer
Here is the walkthrough:
Start by taking your wallet from the drawer. Get insulted by your wife if you want, check your reflection in the mirror and realize you're a bit short in the pants dept.
Walk downstairs and into the laundry room (left at the end of the hallway, opposite the door outside). Take the pants between the washer and the dryer, take part of the cookie jar key from the dryer (it's way down and hard to see, just move your pointer around until you hit it). Petting the cat isn't required (or even appreciated) :-)
Step outside and take the second part of the code key from the lawn. Go back inside and into the kitchen. Rummage through the cabinets for a roll of duct tape and a book. Note that one of the cabinets can't be opened.
You now have everything you need to open the jar. The letters represent the colors and the numbers tell you in which order to use them. The switch upstairs is #1, the microwave is #2, the dryer is #3 and switch on the kitchen wall is #4. The jar should now be open, grab the cash.
(And put your shorts on, otherwise you won't be able to buy a wristband. Check the Property Value-O-Meter on the hallway wall if you want, it has probably dropped to Anxiety by now.)
Go outside, buy a wristband and enter. Most of the books can be taken in any order:
One is in the small tent behind the crying child. You don't have to help him now, but if you do, you'll lose a finger and have to buy $15 worth of healing. Make sure you do it, if you decide to do this. It will trigger something later on that you need to do (Trigger the employee's enterance, see below). Talk to the badly drawn guy in the tent to get some hints.
One is between the dart stand and the fish-in-a-barrel stand. Just pick it up.
One can be won by playing darts. You need to play twice, to get both the engine part and the book. If you're gonna bleed out and die somewhere, this is the spot..
One is a prize in the fish shooting. There's no time limit here, wait for a chance to get more than one fish in a shot (I think you need six to win the book). You'll have to play this twice as well, the mirror will be used later on.
(If you're a lousy shot like me, you've just run out of money. Sell plasma to get some cash.)
Now go bob for a screwdriver in the fried foods stand. Wait for it to appear near the basket, click it and hold while you're pulling it into the basket (NOTE that doing this part is the hardest. Make sure you pull the screwdriver before you pops up in the oil, make sure you click and drag). If you catch any food, eat it if you need to boost your health or keep it in your inventory.
Time for a bike stunt. This involves getting to the bike (from the grease trap, go west, north, double east, open the gate by clicking lights 1, 2 and 3), fixing the bike (use the engine part you won in the balloon game and use the duct tape to keep it in place) and riding it.
Navigate between the rocks, ride the ramp and don't let go of the mouse button until you've landed. Claim your bad grammar prize and take the book from the bushes. You can set up the mirror to deflect the laser beams now, if you want to.
Go home and use the screwdriver to fix the cabinet. Take the issue of Unpopular Mechanics. Go back and enter the freakshow tent. To get past the guy with the bow tie, give him the cup. Take the book outside.
Walk through the Employees Only opening and give the magazine to the ferris wheel operator. Go outside and buy a ferris wheel ticket. Take the book from the tree as you glide by.
You now have all eight books. Put them in the bookshelf and rearrange them (BRADBURY). A key appears, take it.
Ride the bike again and use the key to unlock the door. Enter.
Big shootout scene. Shoot Mr. Dark some ten times, don't waste bullets on the fish.
Mission accomplished.
WELL DONE :)
Usually i SUCK at these kind of games... but this one was actually very easy! THe only hard part was finding you damn wallet! (for those of you who are still looking for it, its near your nightstand in the bedroom on the floor, VERY hard to click on!) Other than that, everything else is pretty obvious!

Ive done that twice and both times i have fought the final scene with unlimited ammo.
Since you have unlimited ammo, blast the s*** outa everything you see and you get more points!!!
Okay, I have run my cursor over the inside of the dryer about a billion times. I can't find anything, AT ALL! If I move the cursor to the left side a curved arrow facing left shows up, but I click at the arrow disappears and nothing happens. I can do this anumber of times. I have tried everything, I need to know WHERE to put the cursor, pleeeeeease?! And also, I found the paper outside, and I looked at it. I could figure out what order to put the colours in without the other paper, by pressing the buttons and checking which lit up and things, but I can't open it.
I am guessing, even though I can figure it out without the paper in the dryer, I still need it to continue. So, please, I am literally begging someone, ANYONE, to just simply tell me WHERE EXACTLY DO I PUT MY CURSOR ON THE DRYER?

Also, this game takes too long to load, has loads of glitches and is insufferably hard to complete even the first task. I don't like it. I think the creator needs some practice in making this type of game. In fact, possibly in making games in general. I'm not too impressed. Not much point in nice graphics if you can't even play it.

Jessica: The thing you need to find in the dryer is right in the front. See the black flap lint catcher (or whatever it is) right in the front? See anything close to that?

Yes, you have to bob the screwdriver out. It looks like a drumstick but the handle part is a bit thinner :)
Finally made it through with the rather pathetic score of 1129. I was just thrilled to finally get through that damn ballon game though. Those ever shrinking balloons and that wobbly hand drive me nuts (not to mention the constant blood loss).
Annie, to get the screwdriver at the fried food stand click the teeth on the screwdriver when it pops up (it looks kind of like the corn dog but skinnier) and drag it SLOWLY to the basket. Click again when you get there to drop it into the basket.
this game was fun... how on earth did people get those crazily high scores? i only managed a 725 after dying twice and about half an hour of playing.

I still think this game needs a little work. And as I have continued, I have to take back my, "nice graphics" comment. This is just plain creepy. Sometimes the graphics are incredible, like the guy's wife lying in bed. But the rest, just creeps we the eff out, if you'll excuse my French. *Shudder* Uggh. Sends a shiver down my spine. Wouldn't recommend this game to anyone who gets easily creeped out. Or anyone with a weak stomach. I mean, I watch Tim Burton things, and Jhonen Vasquez things, but this, THIS is just messed up!

d - Did you find the book that's inside the kitchen of the house where you begin? I think that's the "y". It's called "The Halloween Tree" and it's in the upper right cabinet on the same level as the microwave. If that's not it, post again. I made a list of the books. :-)
boo boo - You need to find the wallet (it's in the bedroom). Also, near the door that won't let you out, there is a laundry room that needs inspecting. You can also get outside. Click everywhere. Also, there are other hints in posts above this one.

If so, he'll let you pass if you give him a certain inventory item. That inventory item is found after you take a bicycle ride....
Wow, this game was waaay too hard for me. I guess my mouse aim is pretty bad, because I had a lot of trouble at w/ the games inside the circus.
Did you check out the other games at Ridiculopathy.com? I'm playing Ramming Speed, and it's quite addictive. You set up cars to create terribly destructive accidents. I think the physics engine is pretty realistic. I'll get back to you on how the other games are.
Oh, and you go to school at RIT? How do you like it? I have a scholarship there and I'm considering applying, but I don't know much about the school or anything.

kareen, the one paper you have says red red green green, and the other one says 4231.
If you assign those numbers in order to each of the colors, you wind up with: red(4), red(2), green(3), green(1).
Now read the colors again using the numbers for their order. =)

Finished it with a terrible score (died too many times in the shoot-out). The only part I needed help for was opening the lock on the gate where the bike is kept. I got the spoiler, but I'm curious about how one is suposed to figure it out. It is related to what the creepy nurse says?

With the books I got, the closest I can come to spelling otu "BRADBURY" is "BRADBUAY". For some reason, this works.
That said, this was kind of a dumb game.

While it may *look* like a cookie jar, a locked container that holds money is really a safe. And a safe may require a combination to open it, as this one does. The piece of paper holds the combination to this cookie jar looking safe. But you need more than just a single piece of paper to understand the entire combination.

I have looked and looked arround the stairs in the bedroom for the light switch, and found nothing. I am going crazy, can someone tell me a bit more on where I can find it????
for the LIFE of me, i cannot find a book in the tree when i'm riding the ferris wheel... i've ridden it about 20 times now and i've finally just tried to let the mouse turn into a hand and that's not working either... i'm probably not going to get a response for a while... just wanted to gripe :)

I didn't like the game very much. I like the idea, but the bad graphics and dumb mini games that you have to win kind of ruin it. I think there is some great potential, just more work.

hi i have all the books but i have put an extra book on the shelf how do i remove it so i can put the last book on?? :( :S
what is the combination for the cookie jar and how do you open it?
There are some technical glitches here that prevented me from finishing-- the main one is that I accidentally clicked twice on my "A" book and it went onto the shelf twice... so when I tried to add the final book, nothing happened (I spelled "Bradbuay" as well, but even though my 2nd "R" book disappeared from inventory- I didn't get a key)
The other glitch? is that after I got the screwdriver, I could never get actual food anymore, so my health couldn't improve. I ended up spending all my money on medical expenses, and couldn't earn enough in the end to get the mirror. Sad- that's healthcare for ya!
