good game, played the first one a while ago, i like the way it's been taken forward.
Got kinda frustrating after a while, i had all maxed but the mill!
Finished in the end.

wow, this is a great game, along with the origional Grow.

I love the little noise he make when he gets an item i.e. the key or orb.

Has anyone found an "alternate path" like in the first Grow with the alien and lightning, etc.? That would be cool, but I haven't seen one.

The first grow is hard as hell. It took forever to beat. But they are both awesome games and well worth the time. I have the answer for the first one. If anyone wants hints or the solution email me. Later.

I liked the first grow game, and this one's better! I liked the blue tree, it was very unexpected.

WOOT! After 2 days off an on i finally figured it out. lol someone had said earlier that the chest went last and that threw me off! THat was great. BTW, does the first grow actualy have a purpose? I never got that one lol

I completely agree with jay that the ending would have been much more exiting to watch without the knowledge that you already had maxed out all items.

This is an excellent game. Normally with things like this, it's generally hard to tell how one thing affects the others and in what order things should be placed. In Grow RPG, you can beat it in 20 minutes or so if you have good observational skills. And the fact that it uses RPG content just makes it a pleasure to play.

real cool game!!!! i just finished it tonight...sad cause this thread was a long time ago. but this game was very exciting. i found eyezmaze through my yahoo home page and found this really awsome game. i've been trying to beat it ever since when this thread started. ya a long time but it was worth the while. i just wrote the sequence down on paper and when i saw that it had maxed before the end i just switched them around and it all worked out. but the real big hint was posted a that said stairs go at end...that was really helpful. but...as have many others have done before me, i will post the correct sequence for those who are having trouble. here it is:

i did it all backwards and i got the following levels:

stairs LVL.1
house LVL.1
boulder LVL.MAX
chest LVL.MAX
castle LVL.0 (got burned up by purple guy)
water LVL.MAX
tower LVL.0 (got crushed by demon)

if an item is lvl 0 something happens to it (when you put an item on and it dosen't level up it is a 1er)

I won this game long time ago, and always wondered if it is possible to be killed by the demon. I mean, kill the dragon, but lose afterwards.

This is a very cute game, I liked it a lot... but there are a bunch of rude folks on here. I have played several of the games on this site, and it seems there's always someone with an attitude.

You're right in that it's not that tough, but "only" 8 is really a huge number of arrangements. Anyone who's taken a basic statistics class would tell that the way the game is set up, that's 8! combinations (8*7*6*5*4*3*2*1 = 40,320)

Okay, I won the game, but I don't know why. What is the logic behind the choices? Why does one come first and what leads us to think so? I don't seem to be grasping what clues to look for. Someone e-mail me if you know the logic of the game...not the solution, I have that, but rather why the solution is the solution.

This game is fantastic.

i found 3 glitches in the game:
1. When you open the tower you will STILL have the key in your inventory.
2. When you use the bomb to explode the boulder covering your way to the golden chest the bomb will STILL be in your inventory.
3. When you use the blue orb on the demon the ord WON'T move from your inventory
if you don't believe me try it yourself

Hiya, just wanted to say that this site is awesome and I really used it, if I could create an account, I would. Looky here for a different ending!!!

I think that someone should take the RPG part of it from the end of the game, where the guy is moving around, and actually make a Part 2 of this game, where you aren't actually dragging the stuff into the level, as everything would already be at max level, but you instead control the guy, and do the fights yourself and collect the items yourself and stuff. Also maybe talk to people (like the injured king; "Excuse me sire, but what is the nature of your injury?" lol) and moving inside a building or area would be just like it was shown in Grow RPG, and moving between areas would have a sort of map function, and you click on a place to go there, but in an area, you move with the arrow keys. Also, maybe add more enemies and dropped items, so maybe you end up buying everything from that store, too, and all the battles go into a seperate mode, so the king helping with the purple dragon is out, you should be able to figure something out. Now, I'd do this myself if I had a program I could make it with, but I don't think I do. I have RPGmaker, but I don't know if it's going to work. If anyone else wants to try making it, by all means go ahead. I won't stop you, and I think it could be really fun.

ahh i finally beat it! i just used the hint that the house has seven levels but thats all. ive only beat GROW RPG, nano v2, and and the original v1 by myself. my favorites are GROW island and GROW cube (the best).

It's very nice..... I finished the mission. To kill all the enemies you need to grab the house/shop first, the second thing to grab is the trees, next the castle, then the water, the tower, the rock, the treasure/chest and lastly the stairs the king will help you to defeat the purple dragon and you will get max lvl of your character and the items of your character will max too.... ^_^ nice game thank you for reading my comment happy gaming
