sanfaconbp March 31, 2010 7:35 AM

Did you go back and see the guy about the bones? Something interesting happens.

catherine April 5, 2010 5:40 AM

the mad hatter
i have tried draging all my towns people with skilled minning and they have all had a chance to work at the hat store but the man is still asking for a skilled minner any suggestions

sanfaconbp April 5, 2010 7:59 AM

What he wants is a miner to go into the store instead of work at the store. When you click on a person that is mining and has the skill to mine - drag them onto the store. Then he will accept that and proceed with the quest.

Hope this helps.

Does anyone happen to know what I'm supposed to do with the dinosaur, if anything?

Debi -

He is now one of your law enforcement team. He's helpful when hunting bears, as he is tough enough to take down a bear.

Thanks grinnyp for the answer.

Now, I have finished the game, but I'm still missing one outfit for the clothing shop.
I've got 1 for a male (looks like a suit or a tux) and 2 (dance hall and long purple dress) for a female.
Any help would be appreciated..and thank you in advance :)

sanfaconbp April 12, 2010 9:11 AM

The other outfit comes from finishing the Market Place challenges.

Scotty59 April 12, 2010 1:25 PM

Im playing as Henry, and there is a guy, Garth Carson who showed up, said he would finish the bandits, and now I dont know how to get him to do that, there was only an OK button, no way to get him to do anything. Help, I dont want him to leave..

sanfaconbp April 12, 2010 2:01 PM

When you have a train robbery or a train track problem, it will give you the option of having him handle it for you at that time. He will not leave, but will stand there at the tracks with the yellow ring around him. So, if you want him to handle it, you pay him and it is taken care of.

I don't know how to get a mayor. The hat guys says he wants one and I can't get my population past 35 without one. I have built a sherrif office and a town hall. Don't know what to do next.

sanfaconbp April 17, 2010 4:07 PM

To get a mayor just hire someone at the town hall and they become the mayor.

amandatian April 19, 2010 2:27 AM

Can anyone tell me what to do with the really heavy log found in the top corner of my town? Thanks in advance ...

sanfaconbp April 19, 2010 5:06 AM

The heavy log is needed when:

you have at least 3 upgraded lumber mills. There will be a guy that shows up asking you to choose one of the logs for him to chop in half. He will bet you that he can do it in one hit. When he does this - take that heavy log to him and put in front of him. You will win the bet and get a secret surprise.

How do you hire a sheriff. I've tried dragging everyone in town to the sheriff's office and no one will work there. Please help.

I would like to know how to get the last ??? "luxury" item, and what is it?
Thanks in advance.

Joedot.. you hire/buy the sheriff like you would a deputy.

sanfaconbp April 20, 2010 8:41 PM

The last one is

The clock - it comes from having 3 factories. A guy shows up and wants the iron from the blacksmith - when you give him that he will give you the plans for it.

how do you get the brit wig ?

sanfaconbp April 22, 2010 6:28 AM

Here's a list from Sandlot games on the hats:

Chicken Nest - Unlocked after mad hatter quest completed
Leaf Beanie - Unlocked when lumberjack trophy is awarded - by knocking down 50 trees
Mad Hatter Madcap -Unlocked doing the Mad Hatter Quest
Diving Bell Helmet - Have 3 Fishing Docks (all don't have to be employed)
British Wig - Employ someone with all Four Skills at the Town Hall
Sherlock Holmes Deerstalker - Unlocked after all Three Treasures are found
Banana Top Hat - Unlocking & growing all farm crops
King's Crown - Unlocked when Game is Completed

Thanks Sanf, it took this long to get that runtime C++ off my puter, well starting all over i'm back thanks again.

can you determine what hat they wear?

sanfaconbp April 22, 2010 8:58 AM

You just drag the person onto the hat shop and their hat changes.

ok sanf, it just looks dum with my bounty hunters with a bannana hat, thought i could regulate the hats my town wears thanks Sanf.

sanfaconbp April 23, 2010 2:43 PM

You can keep clicking them on the hat shop and it changes the hat they are wearing, but it only gives you one of the hats in the shop. I have found that sometimes after awhile some of the people's hats go back to what they were wearing to start with. I found this happens very rarely and don't know why it happens.

Hello everyone

I am trying to complete the dog treasue quest. I took him (Bowser)to the chest then proceeded to follow him and dig up the spots he took me to, but he stopped on top of the hill where you rescue the buffalo, but I never got the key. Oh I am playin as Henry.

Thanks for any help

sanfaconbp April 27, 2010 12:45 PM

If I understand you correctly, you are saying when he gets to the top of this hill, he does not bark and so it does not give you an opportunity to dig there?

If so, the only time that happened to me was when I did not click on the bubble above him so that he could bark. He went on to the next stop, but it did not give me the opportunity to dig there.

I had to restart that quest (by going back to my last saved spot) and make sure that each time he barked, I allowed him to bark, then it worked fine.

I hope this helps.

How do I solve the Rat Treasure? I got the key, but cannot find the place to dig up the stump or whatever...

Also, I read the walkthrough here, but don't understand... how do I get watermelons? Have 86 what in water?

gloriousgrace May 4, 2010 10:02 AM

hi everyone.. been awhile but we have a new westward game woo..

question one.. i am trying to find the key to open the rat chest.. i went and fished by the one fish in the river and now it is gone yet i received no key.. am i doing something wrong.. where do i find the key if the one fish is gone..

also i can not get the new crop to open up.. i have moved people around to different jobs.

and last but least how do i kill the wolves if i can not get to the other side yet
any anwswers would be appreciatedly and thank you in advance for your help

sanfaconbp May 4, 2010 11:07 AM

The way to get the key for the rat treasure is to feed the rat cheese at the rock that looks kind of like an igloo. Place cheese at the opening and a rat will come out and eat it. After 3 times he is too big to go back in. That's when you get the key.

There is another treasure that involves the fish - where you break down the broken wagon.

There is another treasure involving the dog.

The new crop comes from irrigating and then building a farm at the place that has the whole thing that needs to be irrigated and a coal mine. You can place both there.

You can't kill the wolves until you can either build a bridge or get dynamite to blow up the rocks that are keeping you on the one island (if you are playing as Henry - it is close to the rat home.).

I hope this helps.

sanfaconbp May 4, 2010 12:37 PM

You get watermelon after you put in wells and water towers. When the total water for the town gets to a certain level, then you will have a guy tell you you can now plant watermelons.

The place to dig up the rat treasure - if you are playing as Henry - is close to where the lady who wants all the animal skins is. If you go to where she is/was - go a little north and right to a tree that looks dead - it is all by itself. Blow up that tree and the treasure will appear.

If you are playing as the girl, it is south from the lady that wants the animal skins - it is also a tree that looks dead all by itself, I believe, it is right of the rock that the rat came from.

Hope this helps.

When in Ogdenville, how do I stop the cave-ins?

sanfaconbp May 4, 2010 4:10 PM

Upgrade your lumber mill and then click on it and hit the button to make your buildings stronger. You may have to purchase it from upgrades at the store if you don't already have it in the main map.

gloriousgrace May 4, 2010 5:34 PM

hi sanf...

thank you for your response.. i am playing as annie if that makes a difference.. where do i put the farm.. how do i irrigate.. lol.. thank you again for any response i recieve.. grace

gloriousgrace May 4, 2010 6:04 PM

Hi so sorry to be a pain in the neck but how do you irrigate and where do you irrigate.. any and all help is much appreciated.. grace

gloriousgrace May 4, 2010 6:18 PM

how do you drop the cheese.. i have two people walking around with cheese..

gloriousgrace May 4, 2010 7:19 PM

nevermind and thank you but i finally figured out how to drop the cheese.. boy was it starting to get a bit heavy..

sanfaconbp May 4, 2010 10:00 PM

Playing as Anne, it is at the top of the map on the left side. You will need a bridge to get there. There is a place to have a coal mine- you will need to irrigate it in order to put the coal mine there. Also, put in a farm and then you will get the peas.

sanfaconbp -Thank you. :) Might want to consider making it a little clearer in the walkthrough, but thanks for clearing that up.

sanfaconbp May 5, 2010 8:17 AM

I failed to answer you about how to irrigate.

Anyhow, you go to the General Store (buy from the store to unlock first) and buy the 3rd item. It will allow you to make the little rocky soil good soil so you can use the mines, build farms, etc.

gloriousgrace May 6, 2010 9:05 PM

hi sanf.. thank you for all your help and guidance so far.. i have a quick question if you or someone else can answer it for me..
my bakery and my farms are producing pies and cheese and they are stacking up in front of the buildings... what do i do with them.. any help is greatly appreciated.. ty grace

gloriousgrace May 6, 2010 9:24 PM

i rescued the bison before i saw the man with the two bisons or buffalo and now it is asking me to do that challenge when i already did it but didnt get credit for.. how can i fix it.. lol. or can i.. grace

sanfaconbp May 7, 2010 7:30 AM

I think if you just take the bison to the man, it should trigger it as if you just did the quest.

The cheese, pies and things that are extra and start to pile up in front of buildings go to the man that is standing there playing with the ball or whatever. He buys everything extra. Just walk up to him and he will tell you. You can just build a bridge (if you don't already have one) have the people pick up the item and carry it to him, then drop it and you will receive cash for each item in your gold count.

BKMADDOG May 20, 2010 10:23 AM

i completed the rail road repo and now waiting for people too visit other towns but nothing happens. i can move my hero from the screen shown or go anywhere or click on any thing whats wrong?

sanfaconbp May 20, 2010 8:29 PM

The people will show up after they have visited the towns and the game will continue. It takes a little while sometimes.

BKMADDOG May 27, 2010 10:11 AM

heh has any one downloaded and played crytal creek in sandlot yet? and thanks sanf. got game completed. any way how do you get the bridges. it isnt listed in the unlockables. and cant go no further without it. any help please, bk

sanfaconbp May 27, 2010 8:14 PM

Crystal Creek is a lot of fun. However, the upgrades for everything here are different than the regular game. You will find out as you play how each thing upgrades.

after building the wood huts, notice that every once in awhile a log appears close to one of the tree stumps. You will need to pick up those logs and take them somewhere when a guy comes along talking about the wood. You will need to have 5 of them appear.

gloriousgrace May 28, 2010 10:14 PM

hi i do not know if ppl are still answering questions on here but i have one that might seem stupid... lol...

at the beginning of the game there is a guy stanley that is digging how do you get him to stop digging.. is there a quest for him.. any help in greatly appreciated.. ty..

sanfaconbp May 29, 2010 6:48 AM

When you send your guy to talk to him, at the beginning of the game, he tells you to search for bones. He keeps digging until you go back to him at the end of the game (you give him the bones when you go back). If you have collected all of them, then something happens there that is real cute.

Ogdenville, I have completed all the quests and fixed all the buildings, but the "repair all the buildings" quests won't check off, what am I missing? I still have "Save the town" and "Don't let population drop below 0" how do I complete these, my town is humming along and the pollution is gone.

eglianna May 29, 2010 10:25 AM

can someone please help me?
I had to have my computer wiped clean, and had to reload westward 4, when I reloaded the little window in the mini map that shows you where you are is gone, can someone please tell me how I might get it back. I have already unloaded the game and reloaded again.

sanfaconbp May 29, 2010 2:56 PM

I would suggest that you notify the technical support department of whoever you purchased the game from. They should be able to help you with that.

sanfaconbp May 29, 2010 2:57 PM

Have you demolished a couple of the factories?
(To improve air quality)

gloriousgrace May 29, 2010 4:06 PM

thank you san for all your answers it has been very helpful... appreciate it more than you know..

where is the guy playing with the ball
and where are all the fossils.. lol..

gloriousgrace May 29, 2010 6:11 PM

help.. i CAN NOT find the log.. where is it.. please help.. thank you so much... grace

sanfaconbp May 30, 2010 1:57 PM

Are you playing the regular game or the sandbox Crystal Creek?

If you are asking about the sandbox game, there are no fossils and the guy digging will lead to a quest just look for the ? over his head when it is time.

The guy with the ball is across the river.

This sandbox game is so much fun and I think the best sandbox game ever. It was such a surprise.

gloriousgrace May 30, 2010 6:07 PM

hi san no i am not playing the sandbox mode..the regular game.. trying to get all the quests done and the one i am stuck on right now is the log game.. i can not find the big log.. did i leave it behind on another screen or saved game.. that is the question.. if not then where is it .. lol.. thanks so much again..

gloriousgrace May 31, 2010 6:06 PM

hi found the log for the woodcutters challenge by accident woo hoo..

gloriousgrace May 31, 2010 6:11 PM

i brought my three lawman and anne to the bandits hideout where the sibling is..they are in the same do you change their clothes to disguise them.. brought them to the clothing store.. didnt change outfits..
please help ty...

i got an idea for this site.. we should maybe able to type in a question on top and hopefully it would bring us to the answer on a page.. lol. good idea or what..

sanfaconbp May 31, 2010 7:26 PM

Hi. I'm glad you found your log.

The lawmen must not be on horseback and the clothing store must have someone hired there.
Just drag them onto the store and they should change clothes & look like a regular guy.

If you already have the lawmen on horseback, you can build another sheriff's office and hire more deputies.

gloriousgrace June 1, 2010 1:49 PM

hi san your help has been so valuable i want to thank you so very much for answering my questions... i am so stupid.. i was dragging the bounty hunters to the sib... but i rescued the sib.. ty ty ty

gloriousgrace June 1, 2010 3:01 PM

ok here is a question that i never knew the answer to playing all the westward games.. how do i get to the fossils if they are on top of a cliff or mountain or whatever they are.. i saw one in a challenge. i tried to use dynamite but it didnt blow it up.. any please thank so much.

sanfaconbp June 2, 2010 6:03 AM

I know it looks impossible sometimes to get to the fossil, but all of them can be accessed.

I know in some of the quests, I would do everything and leave the fossils for last, so that when the ! was over the hero's head, I would ignore going back to the main map and then concentrate on the fossils.

Sometimes you have to have a general store to buy the dynamite, if I remember correctly. And, at least one time I had to build a bridge.

If you can remember which one in particular, I will be glad to tell you how I did it.

gloriousgrace June 2, 2010 11:29 AM

hi san.. i did buy dynamite but maybe i didnt use it in the right place.. i would go up to the cliff mt or whatever they are and place the dynamite.. i will try a bridge.. i thought you only used the bridges over water.. thank you.. will let you know.. but i guess it is to late now cuz i am back home and quest completed.. lol

sanfaconbp June 3, 2010 5:38 PM

Yes, you are right - you can only build a bridge over water.

One thing that helped me was reading the list of fossils and other's discussions about them on the Sandlot site. Maybe that would help you, too.

I am doing westward 4 river cleanup have restarted 4 times it will only give me 6 barrells I have even blown up bridges looking for them HELP PLEASE

sanfaconbp June 9, 2010 3:51 PM

One of the barrels that was hard for me to find the first time (playing as Henry) is close to the left side of the map where the bears are. Some of the people have had to blow up their bridges looking for them and have found them that way. I lost one of mine one time when a bandit raid happened at the same time one of my people was carrying one of the barrels to sell. They dropped it and it took me a long while to find it.

Are you playing as Henry?

Great site for people looking 4 help. Me too! I'm playing as the girl and have to go talk to my brother.. but where is he? I klicked through all of my citizens - but no brother. Do I just habe to get to another card?
By the way.. I'm getting crazy 'bout trying to save that wrong side cause of the flood. always running out of materials. =(

I hope s.o can help me!

sanfaconbp June 25, 2010 4:58 AM

Usually when you need to talk to the brother/sister there will be a ! or ? on the left side of the screen toward to top of the page. If you click that it should take you to them. Most of the time when they come, they are either close to the train station, or close to a sign post.

For the wrong side, I found it helped to build a farm as well as the ranch to keep up with the food, 3 lumber mills, gold mines and coal mine. If you keep the wood coming to the guy at the dam, I think that the old town will be fine until you get all of them in the new town. It certainly is a challenge.
Hope this helped.

Thanks for your help!

There is no ? or ! above the brother's head. That's why I don't find him. And he also isn't near the train station.. I think I'm gonna search over the card with a little bit more patience ;). I just thought that it would be useless if he waits on some other "village".

And thanks for the additional help for the wrong side. I tried it with two lumber camps, two gold mines and no coal mine. I will try it your way!

again: thanks a lot!

I have downloaded the MAC version of this game and it let's me open it once and play for as long as I want and it's fine blah blah..but then when I close the game and go to open it again it won't let me open it.
Is anyone else having this problem or know how to fix it?

I had trouble w/ this at first, too. Whenever you have to find someone (like your brother or uncle) to talk to them as part of a task, they will be waiting for you at the road entrance on the outskirts of the town. In Anne's case, Henry is at the Northern street (waiting by the street sign).

hope that helps!

EXTRA PRODUCTS (cheese, factory supplies, pies, etc.) -- take them to the guy who says he will "buy anything" (he is who you will sell your toxic barrels to once you've recovered them from your rivers). Have a townsperson take the products there and then hit the "drop" button and the guy will automatically pay you for the product. I think cheese is about $10, apple pies are $30, and factory goods (the green crates) are $40 ... ? (I may be off on the exact numbers!)

hi, i have played this game 03 times but are unable to collect all trophies. 01) How to produce 08 town goods? i manage to have 07.
02) In the landlord game, i only manage to collect 19 bombs. where to find the last ? Thanks

sanfaconbp July 19, 2010 3:07 AM

You don't have to find all 20 dynamite in order to get all your trophies.
There is a map of sorts on the sandlot game website - however, for me the one I had the most trouble finding is in the area on the left top side - behind one of the markers that define the out of bounds area.

Town Goods
Produce Town Good - Have one farm producing food
Meat Town Good - Have at least one ranch producing food and an Employed Butcher Shop
Miracle Cure Town Good - Have a Doctor and have a Skilled Farmer employed at a Fishing Hut
Fertilizer Town Good - Have an Employed Upgraded Ranch and 4 stables
Factory Town Good - Have a Citizen skilled in both mining and woodcutting employed in a upgraded lumber camp and a factory
Iron Town Good - Have at least 1 citizen skilled in mining employed at both a blacksmith with upgraded pick axes and a coal mine
Bakery Town Good - Have a skilled Farmer employed at the bakery - pick up apples from ground at Wood Huts
Bonds - Have one Citizen with skills in salesclerk employed at town hall & 2 employed banks and collect taxes which will give bonds (to collect taxes, click town hall & choose either low or high taxes- high taxes reduce town happiness)

Anonymous July 19, 2010 6:00 AM

Don't know whether to cry, scream or throw up! Finished the game, with the help of all the hints herein. Thanks so much for that! Well, almost finished.

I must have missed the hint about not leaving Volcano Valley until last. I got my last 3 fossils, got the archaeologist trophy.
Back in the main town and trains aren't running anymore. No crown, no game finish trophies (so 22/24), even though every quest has a check mark and all map spots are completed.
Thanks for all the help!

But sincerely, if this game were any more buggy I would have thrown my laptop into the Pacific like a discus!!

I'm ready to scream as well, but it's because of the constant earthquakes. I know I'm supposed to get my town happiness up to about 200; I had it up to 165 (and was adding luxury structures to build more happiness), and out of nowhere, all of a sudden, it's earthquake after earthquake. They are running so close together that I can only repair maybe 5-10 buildings before another one hits. This is literally wave after wave of earthquakes, hitting about every 2-3 minutes (or less- on several occasions, I'm talking about every 30-45 seconds).

I'm getting close to the end of the game- I've already completed Ogdenville, rescued Dad, etc., but I simply can't move the storyline forward because I can't stop repairing buildings because of the constant earthquakes! I've gotten so disgusted that I shut the game down. So far, the game has been amusing, and I do love the Westward series, but this is just maddening.

Between this barrage of earthquakes, and little things like: the guy you're supposed to train in mining coming so late (for me) in the game that my mines were already tapped (meaning, a quest I can't complete), I have to give this installment a 2 out of 5 stars.

For the record, yes, my lumber camps are upgraded, and I've reinforced my buildings, but that just seems to reduce the amount of damage done by earthquakes, not eliminate the damage completely.

Additionally, woodland critters are all over the place- except for wolves. I read the post where it said to just wait....but after maybe 20+ hours, the wolves haven't come back- bears, deer, rabbits, they're running around, but not wolves, so I can't complete that quest. Any way I can maybe offer some sort of bait, like rabbit meat or something, to get the wolves to come?

Thanks so very much for your time!

rebecca July 22, 2010 3:05 AM

Help I can't get past the level that you have to free all the hostages and look for father. I get all but the last group out then I fail. What am I doing wrong?

sanfaconbp July 23, 2010 7:17 AM

I certainly agree about the earthquakes - they do seem to be bad on this one. I have found though that if I save the game often, I can go back to the last saved game and sometimes the quakes don't happen as quickly. Also, if you just leave the game and reopen it sometimes that stops the cycle of quakes.

For the wolves, I have found that if you hunt the animals that are showing up in the area that the wolves usually show up, they will return. Someone from the sandlot game site says that the game supports only so many animals in an area, so if you kill the ones that you don't want, the ones that you do want show up. I found it to be true.

I hope this helps.

Thank you so very much! I'll try the tips you've given. Thanks again so much!

(Do you think Sandlot would maybe introduce a patch for the earthquake problem? It's really irritating.)

Does anyone knows how to solve this:
I got a sheriff, and as the game say, I can have as many population as I want when I have sheriff. But in my main town, it only stop at 17, although i built more house to get immigrator. ( Those house are deserted ) The game says my pop is 17, and it still say max pop is 22. ( that's exactly ) But i have been waiting so long but there is still ain't more people move to town.
I'm at the quest Ridden Flu ( or whatever it is with the mouse love cheese )

itsjustmepati2 July 31, 2010 12:09 AM

HELP..I have all 8 goods being sold but still do not get the Merchants trophy...why???

the bandit blew up the bridge and the train has stopped running. I tried to use one of people skilled as a miner and a woodcutter to repair the bridge. It did not worked. How do I get one skilled as a miner and lumber?

sanfaconbp August 8, 2010 8:37 PM

The game itself picks out one of your people that is skilled in these and names them to fix it. If you don't know who it is, you should be able to see who it is when you click on the quest list. Just bring them there and they will fix it.

Hope this helps.

Does anyone know how to build a stone road infront of a building? (road from the luxury page)

I need some cheese to get information out of the bandits. I have cows on my ranch but I do not know how to make cheese. Help???

i cant seem to get the bakery boxes for the buffalos is there any way to make the boxes spawn?

stickytoffee25 August 30, 2010 1:40 PM

can anyone please help me I meed the iron from the balcksmith to be able to make the clock and cannot find it thanks

sanfaconbp September 1, 2010 8:19 AM

To get iron:

I believe in order to get iron, you must have employed a person at the blacksmith shop that is skilled in mining and maybe in the lumber camps. I try to cross train most of my workers, especially at the beginning of the game, but anytime will work, so that I have some that have all 4 skills. That way they can be employed at any work and get all the goods that job brings.

To get bakery item:

You must have a person that is skilled in farming pick up the apples (at least 5)that fall from the trees in order to start the pies showing up. The person at the bakery must also have the skill of farming.

To get cheese:

You must have a person employed at the ranch that has cows and then wait. The cheese will show up outside the fence.

The stone road:
I believe it is on the last page of the store. You buy the item and then lay it however you want.

About the sheriff and the town population:
I would suggest that you make sure your sheriff is still alive - if you don't heal him/her it could have died, which would not allow you to add any more people until you hire another one. Or, I believe you must also have a sheriff's office and sometimes that could burn down or get shot up by the bandits - that would also make the population stop growing.

The 8 items must all be available at the same time - maybe that is the problem about not getting the merchant trophy? Make sure each of the items for sale are current by clicking on the train station.

Hopefull this will help.

Does anyone know how to build roads ontop of the dirt roads infront of buildings? I have the stone road but whenever i try to build it ontop of a dirt road infront of a building it wont let me. Thanks

sanfaconbp September 4, 2010 8:30 AM

I know that has to be enough open space for it to fit. Maybe that is the problem.

Help please, I'm stuck in the hostage rescue quest. I can't get to the 3 hostages stuck in the red gate, and I can't get to the bandits with all the horses behind the other red gate. I haven't been able to find the green key either. I've rescued all the other hostages. What do I need to do?

I've found this answer on the Sandlot website - does this help? If not, which one are you trying to free?

King is located on the West side. There are tents in the south area of the block he's in.. You need to shoot them (the tents) to get the red key. To get behind the red door, you will have to go into the block where the Super TNT blew the door off to free those hostages, blow the rocks with dynamite that leads to the red door (for the bandits in the NE block - where the green key is).

The dynamite regenerates. Unsure if the Super TNT regenerates itself.. haven't ever watched to see.

You take the hostages south out the original blue door you entered at. Just south of that door is a 'cross-road'. A red arrow should be pointing to it. Get the hostages to that point. The hostages will run when bandits are around, so make sure you're hired help is in front of them to take care of bandits.

I'm at the father rescue quest and I picked to fight the bandits so it told me to get 8 gunfighters and I already have 10 but it still won't let me do the quest. Please help! I have no clue what to do!

If I remember correctly, you must have that many deputies - not counting the gunfighters.

Just build a few more sheriff's offices and hire more deputies and see if that works.

Hopefully this will work.

Does anyone know how to pass Haverbrook, its hard. Thnx

I start Haverbrook

by buying a dynamite from the general store and blowing up the rocks that take you to the higher ground on the west side. I fire all the towns people and get them gathering the wood (build one lumber hut) and coal. I use the lawman to shoot animals for food. As soon as I get the things needed, I start having them gather the next thing he asks for which is food and gold.

Then I get the bones and complete the other mission which is to take the hat to the guy across the river.

Hope that helps.

Thank you sanafconbp it worked:)

I am stuck at the part where my hero is supposed to check all the towns. I can't find her anywhere and my screen on the game seems like it's frozen. The only ppl I can see are the brother dad and uncle. Is it just my game or does that happen with everyone? Please let me no how I can fix this I'm getting really agravated.

If you're playing as Henry this is where his rat's treasure chest is:

The gold mine near the fur trader there is a tree that you blow up.
Dig up the chest, then put three cheese wheels in front of the tunnel looking rock then drag Henry over to the rat, then drag Henry to the treasure chest.

Mia -
If you have the first version that is one of the problems with it. Just ask the people you purchased it from and get the newest version - it should let all the saved work be transfered to it and you can finish the game.

I hope this helps.

Thanks sanfaconbp.
I'm pretty sure my brother bought it of the computer. We have EMachine Games and he bought it from there. So I really don't know how to go about all this or who to call. If anyone could please help me with this problem that would be really great because it's really making me mad that I can't play this.
