it might be a little late, but I had fun doing this one anyway :)

Oh shoot, I just realized I posted the wrong one, it's supposed to be slower. Sorry for the double post!
Personally I think these sound better if you don't totally overload them. Here's a few simpler ones with that in mind.
http://inudge.net/inudge#/94l6
http://inudge.net/inudge#/kewg
The second one reminds me of music for a cavern-themed level of a game or something.
Trying for something slower and pulsier this time around. I like this one best of the three I've done so far.
Wasted, ahem, productively spent much of my day with this gadget.
FUN!!! I never use these gadgets because they seem a little too complex for my short attention span, but this is great! Here is my first attempt:
I like the idea of turning a drawing into sound, so for this one I quickly scribbled a picture of a tree with some stick-birds and clouds, using each instrument as a color - I drew clouds with the tone matrix, a tree trunk with the frogster, grass and tree leaves with the avatar (and when I say that I drew, I mean that I scribbled quickly). Anyhow, though it's not the most awesome sound this gadget has ever produced, I think it came out quite nice. http://inudge.net/inudge#/g1o
Last one? http://inudge.net/inudge#/mgg

Oh my, I just can't get enough of this! And yeah, this webtoy challenge alone is a good enough reason to register. =D
So, there: http://inudge.net/inudge#/16sn
This melody got me thinking about Hong Kong at night for some reason.
:) Includes a slightly adapted melody from an old Sam Cooke song :)
OK. I've got to stop playing with this thing!
http://inudge.net/inudge#/c7i9
It is surprising how much just going from simple geometric shapes in this toy can bring.
Alright! This is quite fun to play with. The limitation of 16 beats adds some nice challange: Try to makes something that doesn't get old after only a couple repetitions.
Well, here's what I have so far:
Well, I just started out randomly placing dots, then I got addicted...
Here's another one. I was trying for something with a little more of a rock feel, or as close as I could get with this new-age directed device.
Alright, so I went through and listened to them all! These were my favorites:
tediousQ "arpeggios and separating the bass"
mkelican "built this with ToneMatrix ages ago"
Cordae "adapted melody from an old Sam Cooke song"
DMJ "got me thinking about Hong Kong at night"
makrone "Will not get any work done today"
hk "To Zanarkand"
Evan Murdock (just the link)
misterflood "Beverly Hills Cop feel"
Mike "Another slow one"
Ryan "so tried a slower groove"
DjDH "used to making hip hop beats"
Can't find my earphones, so I didn't bother playing with offset on my laptop, but here's my first attempt.
http://inudge.net/inudge#/fjtr
Just messin' around
Could dance to this?
Needs to double the width to get longer musical phrases
Inspired by Neon Genesis Evangelion's "Decisive Battle" theme.
Started out just trying to make something I liked as much as my last two, ended up struggling with the limitations of a 5-note scale, reworked the whole thing, and ended up with this.
Can't really tell whether it's any good at this point, having listened to it on repeat for way too long. I like how drums turned out, though!
I couldn't help it--I had to come back and try out a second idea. This time I tried to see what I could come up with using only the percussion track. See what you think:
http://inudge.net/inudge#/zsgInspired by Mozart's "Eine Kleine Nachtmusik" (A Little Night Music).
http://inudge.net/inudge#/k1i6
I was trying to do Mary Had a Little Lamb but it turned into something completely different. I call it Requiem for a Lamb.
Tried working with the interplay of one rhythm in counterpoint with itself in this one:
http://inudge.net/inudge#/gkk5
DO NOT LISTEN.
NEVER...
i don't know...
what is it...
My first try. The only idea I had going into it was to squeeze two measures/bars into it, sacrificing my ability to use 16th notes... alas. The rest just popped into place. I'm pretty happy.
Try this
http://inudge.net/inudge#/iuf2
my eyballs where bleeding playing this game, i think this is o-k, but im not very good :(
http://inudge.net/inudge#/2bcq
OK... I made a new meta game. I wondered what a space invader would sound like.
http://inudge.net/inudge#/1c56
And I can also flip back and forth between the first and second patterns for animation! :P
OK, had to make another one, I think this is a hell of a lot better than my last one: http://inudge.net/inudge#/67d
A (bad version of my composition piece for music class. Not sure THIS version would pass.
Meh.. http://inudge.net/inudge#/7m8j
I don't think anyone has mentioned this, but this game is essentially based upon the Tenori-On:
Hehe, fooling around. Who guesses that Ive just played a bit of TFTD?
Anyway, I call this 'Something moving in the darkness'.
http://inudge.net/inudge#/6sat
I spent 30 minutes on this, and I'm probably gonna have it stuck in my head for the next 3 weeks. Damn that drum loop!
Speaking of pictures into sound... I decided to make a song jut based off of pictures... and my name. Annyywhoooo it took forever to make, and can anyone guess what the orange "Frogger" picture is supposed to be?
http://inudge.net/inudge#/11o8
The cake is a (poorly drawn) lie
http://inudge.net/inudge#/6bw6
It's so fun to click randomly, then mess around with what you have intil it turns into something.
A little cludgy.
Ain't nothing but a G Thang
Ha! I've always wanted to find a site like this!
Another spacy one.
Here's mine. It's sorta like a dance remix.
I think it sounds better if you listen to each individual track first.
http://inudge.net/inudge#/diao
I love this! I was up dancing in the middle of my living room! So catchy!!
http://inudge.net/inudge#/ctv1 Just something I threw together.
http://inudge.net/inudge#/b2m4
I went a bit slower this time.
The C scale is definitely the best scale
Just messin' around:
http://inudge.net/inudge#/8f14
Well, decided to make a new one. =D
I just started messing with the drum beat(unlike last time) and built around that.
I'm gonna keep playing around with Nudge for a while because it's so awesome.
http://inudge.net/inudge#/139s
Nice beat with a techno-y twist! Enjoy this awesome beat and let me know what you think. Thanks!
Great game. I couldn't resist using every instrument even though I knew it was overkill.
I forgot to say - I vote for Crab Nicholson's third one. I'm insanely jealous of it.
So I've been playing around with this toy and started recording its sound output, trying to capture some lateral movement out of the toy that was only intended to create loops. Experimenting, I recorded a "song," of me using Nudge on the fly, ramping up the intensity of the track similar to Manuel Göttsching's E2-E4. My track became about overpowering the processes of the little gizmo and my computer, thus causing the track to sort of fly apart.
I'm not sure of the legality of distributing the file, so I acquiesce to Jay if he thinks there would be a legal concern; however, I think this falls within fair use.
Anyway, if anyone wants to hear the track I made (it is around 14 minutes long, but should be interesting to anyone as fascinated with the toy as I was), just reply here.
Very cool toy!
Minimalist, but i like it.
I went for something bass heavy with a stilted rhythm at 101bpm inspired by skweee!
no real hook to it though.
Another attempt..
http://inudge.net/inudge#/17o7
Less is more hopefully
Bit late, but here's my attempt. It was inspired by a mix of Erasure's "99 Steps" but ended up sounding completely different. I'm calling it "Sonic Waterfall."
Just a little experiment seeing what an X in every part would sound like. I think it sounds a little bit Oriental.
http://inudge.net/inudge#/4ih2
I then used that X sound in another tune I was making and it added quite a nice backing.

Title: Jungle Groove
Link: http://inudge.net/inudge#/6xe
Description: A tune with an active rhythm that gives a sense of trekking through the jungle.
I don't know what this sounds like, but I think it seems nice, kind of a soft sci-fi?
Just something upbeat:
I'd like to hear it, Keep.One.Step.Ahead :D
A soft ambient tune: http://inudge.net/inudge#/ell
I really like Stu's @ September 25, 2009 11:22 AM, and Klint's @ September 25, 2009 7:47 PM
Here's a few more from me :)
On the Prowl:
http://inudge.net/inudge#/f314
Lullaby (inspired by MGMT's "Kids"):
http://inudge.net/inudge#/u6y
My second try with my roommate's help, described by her as "slow techno".
Spending way too much time on this....I heard/saw the heartbeat pattern in someone else's piece, and remembered how much I liked it in some of my favorite songs:
Resting State
http://inudge.net/inudge#/jc7
Excited State (not really fast)
http://inudge.net/inudge#/17hy
http://inudge.net/inudge#/42pf
I really enjoyed
I call my masterpiece...fill a buster
Here's my offereing...
Oops, and this one too...
Wild Cherry:
http://inudge.net/inudge#/3bo
Does anyone else think this has a lot of potential as a ringtone creator if nothing else?
Here's my second one.
I improved this one by:
1. Making it less cluttered (less is more after all)
2. Not going crazy on the drum beats, like my other one (even though that was my favorite part)
As for favorites, I really liked curiousgorgie's "On the Prowl." It sounded cool without being too surreal.
Do you mean my "On The Prowl"? :D
this is a great game!
Try this:
http://inudge.net/inudge#/158e
hee hee hee
I don't think it came out the way it should have, but it's good for a giggle.
http://inudge.net/inudge#/24gy
(You'll have to squint to make it out)
Great fun, Jay!
Haven't thought about this for days (days!), but then, inspiration.
A samba.
Too much fun!
Trying to for a more subdued approach here, drums and bass type tones.
Spent a little while on this, got a bit carried away. I might try another one later that's more chilled out.
Heres mine,
I took a basic beat/theme and just went with it.
I love the easy/casual aspect of this though, makes for an amazing time waster
Great creative music maker!

Oops, sorry LSN. Both of your comments looked extremely similar at first glance.
OMG, Mike, that's an awesome samba!
Dr Pangloss:
LIES!!
roflguy: Oh wow, I didn't notice that! lol
Bonus points to whoever can guess why my last one is called "Wild Cherry".
To be absolutely honest, I just went through each instrument and randomly spread my mouse across the page. Then I removed about half the notes. Then I slowed it all down a bit.
It occurs to me that in order to get any kind of feedback, JIG would need:
1. A reply system.
2. People trying to reply.
So far, I like a song these people made.
