hello everyone, I found your tips very helpfull. I am in the 3rd roon (the upside down room), I found the picture with S-C-A-P-E word but I cant find the card, where is it?
Kate - you have to right the upside down room first. Try using the information you received on the poloroid first.
Someone please help me out. I can't figure out where to put which card on the open box.
The cards go on the box in the order that you visited each room (the first room you started in is room zero). The symbol on a doors indentifies the room TO WHICH IT LEADS. Such as the sign on a restroom door. Figure out which symbol corresponds to each room, match that to the card, and the problem is solved.

Zack - you need to find the piece in Room 0 that completes the cube. Then you will be able to go to continue. Have you tried looking everywhere? Sometimes you need to click all around an object to find its 'sweet spot'. I've also heard that radiators are good hiding places in this game, have you checked there? Remember, there's two radiators in the first room.

okay, i went through all the rooms, and i'm up stairs where the light shines through the window, but the doors in that room will not open. i just relaized i'm missing a peice from the letter, if you look at the letter peices starting from the right side, i'm missing the 3rd one, do you know where i can find it at?

Good game, a little bit too hard to click on things, but otherwise, excellent puzzles. AND I DID LIKE THE ENDING... it was really sweet, simple, but almost heartwarming!

W00T finally beat it. I was stuck reading these comments for ages before i found http://mypage.siu.edu/vfezler/walkthrough.txt and it turned out i had figured out everything (except the mobile card thing ) perfectly and was only missing the green card from the pillow ( which i couldnt look at when the room was upside down and forgot to look at when it was right way up duh ). Endings ... ok ... i cant beleive anyone is stupid enough to assemble the final box and not find the middle piece of the letter thanks for the great game, perfect for me because it was slightly easier than red, crimson and blue room which i found intolerably hard but beat with walk thrus
Lost as a goose. Gathered 2 pieces of paper, the card and all cube pieces from R1 and the card from R2. I've clicked everything i can find. Please help! I don't know what to do next.
Check out the letter at the end. "Inconscious." I highly doubt that's a real word.

Wow...it took me like 20 minutes to figure out that the final door actually does open.
i filled in the cross with the right cards... in the right order.... then what?

i am totally stuck trying to find another room. i got the first two but i cant do anything with the box or the safe...ugh im going to shoot my comp. . .some one help!
I got the stuff from the first two rooms, and the four pieces of the puzzle became a box.
I've read that I'm supposed to drag the box to the holder by the door in Rm 2, but I can't figure out how to do that.
Once the box is assembled (it does it by itself, right?), it disappears from my screen, and the individual peices disappear from the "item list" (don't know what else to call it) on the right side of the window.
HOW DO I GET OUT OF HERE?!
where is the piece that is supposed to be in room 0? is it in the safe? how are you supposed to know the code to that? help!!!
I've read all the posts, but still I'm stuck:
How do I drag the cube (formed in Rm 1) to the holder? When I get the last peice, the cube forms automatically, then when I click on it (to drag it), it diasappears.
What am I doing wrong?

Murph - after the cube was formed, it didn't disappear, it just moved to its place where "R1" was on the inventory screen.
i am at the part with the clock in it... i set it to 6:00 and 3:00 and have no idea wat to do and how to get to the upsidown room. i have all the items from r0,r1,r2 plz!!!!!! help

WOW!!!! I was stuck on the last box for sooooo long. I'm glad i finally figured it out, the ending was way different then what I expected, anyone that liked crimson room or viridian room should definitely play this game.
Hi great game. I love the ending. Also about the last box puzzle, the room number is the one on the side of your inventory. The space that gets covered by the boxes. And you need to look at the symbol on all of the doors that lead you to that room. I don't mind posting such a clear solution because if someone takes the time to read all the way down to my post and doesn't get all the previous clues then they deserve a straight answer.

Daniele - you haven't found all of the pieces yet. There is one from R0 and 3 from R1 that you need to find before the box will be formed.

Thanks to everyone for giving sparse/specific hints - I totally missed the "SCAPE" frame. The ending reminded me a lot of a simplified version of the game "Sanitarium"... an excellent, although mildly dated, computer game - the mind is a maze.

PLEASE HELP ME!!!! i cant get out of the upside down room.... for those of you that cant get out of the room that keeps taking u back to the same room...... u have to go to the room before that to the clock.. turn the hour hand to 6 o'clock then at the bottom of the clock there is a new block... click and drag it to the weighted peice to the left of the door... BUT please help me on the upside down door thing

Graydon - read the picture again: it's not SCRAPE, it's SCAPE. And that's the combination to the safe that will right the upside down room for you.

Interesting about the piece in R0. I found it accidently. Not sure how I made it look from the top after zooming in. SPOILER.....cause the piece is not visible on the screen unless you can look at it from the top....and like i said, i did that on accident. How did I do it???? jeezzz

okay nevermind lol... i read what someone said about comparing the doors, i didn't get it at first but it clicked lol... i gotta admit the ending wasn't what i expected... like i seriously expected someone to jump out at me and hack me to death or somethin... the voices were creeping me out that's why lol
i have finally finished the game.it was really frustating while it lasted but was fun. i've done it without any of the hints!!!!!!
