Hello. I bought the game last night, but I have a problem in the Kitchen. I prepared the first potion with no problem. However, when I got to the second one, I got stuck. You see, after picking up the heated sunflower petals from the cauldron, my ladle disappeared. Now I cannot retrieve the crushed and heated juniper berries from the fire!!! What am I supposed to do? I don't understand why the ladle didn't go back to my inventory automatically if it is needed. HELP, PLEASE! This is the second time I start the game over because I've had this problem. Thank you for listening. Hopefully, I'll get an answer back sometime today because I really want to keep playing this game. :)

In tea room - I have the teapot and all place settings (on their correct spaces) and I don't get the tear to open the door. Did I forget something? Thanks

I am captivated by the Dream Chronicles games. However, today I am frustrated. I'm in the "gear" room. I can make a purple gem and a green gem. I can make an orange gem. However, there is no purple gem above the door, but a red gem. I cannot make a red gem. Please tell me what I'm missing.

JIGuest: Are you SURE they are in the right places? It will let you put the things in the wrong places, so double check the shapes.
Edithmae: Try using a different pair of jewels. red + red will = red, but so will red + clear.

I just finished making the three potions and recieving the strange symbol that I'm supposed to take to the Nexus to open a stairway but I can't figure out where to put the strange symbol so the stairway will open. Do I have to go through the Nexus into the room with all the doors or what? I'm so confused!!
I completed the memory potion but did not take the strange symbol out of the draw and the draw closed. How do I get now?????

Did you look into your inventory? You normaly do not have to TAKE it, its automatically going into your inventory - it's kind of a stick, what you will see

In the tea room make sure the SHAPES of the spoon, teacup, plate all match the location on the table...
Potion for the teddy bear comes from Lilith - just return to the herbalist's kitchen and make it up.
Getting correct gem colors in Nexus room require pairing of dream jewels. If first pair doesn't make it - try another combo.
In the nexus room - place the strange symbol on the floor and the stairs will appear.

I have the bug in my game that does not tell you the final ingredient for each potion. It says, "finally add." This has been really annoying!!! I have tried trial and error, but cant fathom out the final ingredient for the "awaken potion" - as I have read, there is a shrivelling potion too later, so could someone please help and tell me the final ingredients to the awaken potion and the shrivelling potion please? thanks in advance...

I LOVE THIS GAME. Ok so it wasn't as challenging as DC2 but it is still a great game. I am curious though. I have found the 90 dream pieces, & of course the 10 dream jewels, but I just found 48 gold nuggets when I have only been finding 47, not counting the ones to make the jewels. So does anybody have a total count on how many there are? Like how many nuggets? How many dream jewels, I've found 16 different ones so far. And is it just me or was Lillith or Faye pregnant?? So will there be a DC4??
help i can't find the second plate in the music room, I have the plate from the meditation room and one i found in the music room so where were the two plates in that room.
I've just finished DC3 and loved it, although I agree it's disappointingly short compared to DC2.
I am now wondering what to play until the 4th episode comes out. Can anyone recommend a similar game?

I am having trouble getting down the stairs in the Nexus.
I finished everything in the kitchen and the drawer opened and I got a weird thing and a letter. Then I went back to the Nexus and the weird gold thing I got disappeared from the bar along the bottom of my screen. The dream journal does not show any info on the letter that was in the drawer, nor does it appear to have registered my progress.
I figured it was a glitch so I decided I would just have to quit the game without saving and play from the last point I saved. However, the game does not allow me to quit without saving!
any advice??

I don't know if you've already gotten an answer but I was confused at first about the ladle thing too. I soon realized it goes back to the wall where you originally found it after each time you've used it. It's definitely a nuisance I'll say that much. If it doesn't go back to the wall where you found it the first time then you might have a glitch in the game or something.

I hit a snag, and now I can't empty the ladle! I must have done the potions out of order. I need to make the Quick Grow potion, but I have a ladle full of a crushed ingredient for another potion and can't empty it - my pot's full and boiling away over the fire. It won't let me add it to the glass, either. How do I empty the ladle and start over? Thanks so much!

I don't seem to have the strange symbol any more, I couldn't get the floor to open in the Nexus, and the symbol (a gold stick thing?) then vanished from my inventory. I can't make another memory potion, the drawer in the kitchen will no longer open, and I have clicked all over the trapdoor in the Nexus to no avail. Am I screwed and do I have to restart the entire game? :(
I got all the way to the valves and got through them then my computer shut down on me now when I restarted my computer I'm at some valves again but couldn't touch them. There were two at the very beginning that had to have valves put on them so I took gold nuggets and stuck on them and the nuggets turned to valves but I can't make them move. I can't even turn around and go back I am basically totally stuck!!
How do I make the potions in the kitchen. The recipes end with "Add ingredient" but it doesn't say what to add. I can do the anagrams but I just can't figure out what the final ingredient to each potion is.

Here are frequently asked questions (and the answers) you might like to check out
I can't find the fourth mat in the tree house/I can only find three keys in the tree house
You need four keys to find all needed items in the tree house
1. In the bedroom - at the windows on the pillows
2. In the hall - left wall, right side on top of the pictures
3. In the sewing room - windowsill, left side
4. In the sewing room - shelf above the sewing machine, left side
With this four keys you open: The door to the sewing room, the two drawers in the sewing room and the trunk at the foot end of the bed in the bedroom
I can't see one (ore more) ingredient(s) in the book in the kitchen
Please make sure first, that you solved the anagram at the left page of the book - this will make the missing words appear

My ladle /shovel disappeared

The ladle will go back at the left wall of the kitchen, the place where you found it first time, after every using

If you do not have it in your inventory go back and start the conversation with Lilith again
You will have to find the right answers to satisfy her, then she will give you the recipe
I can't get the valves closed
The solution for this puzzle seems to be random but a lot of people could use the following solutions:
left, right ,right, left, right,
upper left, upper right,
upper upper left, upper upper right,
upper upper upper right, upper upper upper left
Or
Turn the valves first on one side, then on the other side
Do that twice
Or
Close all valves but the last one left and right
Keep clicking this two valves, till it works out

Just finished for the first time. How many Fairy ranks are there? What is the max number of Dream Jewels, Gold Nuggets you can get in a game? Is it the faster your game and the more you collect that determines the scores?

AUUUGGGGHHH! I went through the entire game with not much problem. I got all the way to the very end and didnt have the recipe for the root shriveling potion...I have tried EVERYTHING!! I spoke to Lillith like a BAZILLION times.I went through all the mazes and every single nexus portal looking for this darn thing; I'm super fustrated!
So Shelly I had the same problem but I got it but clicking the last question then the 3rd then, the second, then the first. (that doesn't really make sense does it?) Anway here it is :]
heated red rose petals, heated lemongrass, rose liquid essence, crushed and heated orange peel, and finally grey rose seeds. :]

Kayleigh, I don't know if this is a glitch or not, but I'm at the bridge and need to access Faye's room. But the two dream jewels that I picked up at the bridge don't have the colors necessary to form the matching colors at the nexus portal. One of the jewels has to have 2 reds in it, but neither does. I've looked everywhere for other telescope lenses to make more molds, but there aren't any. Can you advise? Thanks! Mary

I'm a little bit confused about the part of the game you are right now.
Two dream jewels you found in the tree house
Two dream jewels you made with the molds from the observatory
With this, you had access to the sea area, where you found to other lenses
You went back to the observatory and made two more molds
Now you have six.
The one with the two red jewels you made the first time in the observatory, as you need them to get access to the sea area.
Have a look at the screenshot - this is are the dream jewels to enter the sea area
There you will find two more lenses to make two more dream jewels to come to Faye's house.
You will have six then and it has to look like this

Halp! How do I restore the ladders in the observatory room? Can't find them anywhere, and I can't do anything with the planets or telescope without the adders :-(

You have to place back the eight planets into the shelf left and right. That will restore the ladder. Just drag them from your inventory into the shelf. You can only click it at the place, where it belongs to, so you will find the right place more less automatically by "try and error".

In the telescope room I can only place three planets on a shelf. On the other side of the ladder there is a picture but no shelves. On the top I can't place them either. So I'm stuck. Help!

I got as far as going down the stairs in the Nexus after talking to Lilith and the whole program shuts down. I did this at least 6 times and tried to go back a little and picked up more gold nuggets then tried again in the Nexus and going down the stairs and ...well the program shut down again???? What is happening?

Ok, I see from the walkthrough that there is more than one possible ending. I
followed Lilith's instructions, using the potion by the stairs
and the game immediately ended without my getting to the last room. Is the "real" ending different enough that I should play through again? The Simon puzzles are enough to discourage me. I am also rather upset that the game would end early in this way, I feel that making you start over to see the other ending is a cheap trick.
On the other hand, I loved the telescope.
Finally completed it! Certainly couldn't have done it without the walkthrough - thanks!
Hi,I plant the rose seeds but I can`t put the instant growth potion on it. I build the scarecrow so thats not the problem. And my shovel doesn`t work anymore. I can`t dig ground nor put the instant growth, help please

When you are sure, that you made the instant growth potion and not the quick ripen potion, then leave the scene, go to the nexus and come back. That often solves problems like this

There are only two ideas I have about this:
First: Start a complete new game - you are not that far, that it might not take so long to come to that point again.
If this does not work, you should contact the technical support of the page, you purchased the game. Is that the same page for you all? BigFish? Or another one? Maybe you all have the same bug, that can be fixed by downloading another version :) or the support does have another idea :)

The "real" ending is the same. The only reason to go back and play it again is if you would like to improve your score, or if you would like to go through looking for more constellations and making more jewel pieces.
I tried it both ways and you definitely get a higher score if you make the potion, go downstairs at the nexus, make the 4 new jewel pieces, and use the nexus to unlock the "root" room that is the same room you ended up in at the end of Dream Chronicles 2. There you can use the potion to release the teddy bear, then go back to your house and place the bear under the face at the bottom of the stairs.

You need to use the symbol to open the floor in the nexus room. Once it's open go down the stairs and solve the puzzles down there. That will get you the materials you need to make more jewel pieces.

The stairs are in the house of the Faye and Fidget, where you were looking for toys and tiles. This is the other ending - you can bring the teddy home by using the nexus and place it at the end of the stairs

Lilith will give you the recipe for the shrivel potion - but first you have to answer her questions. When you click on her she asks a question and there are several responses underneath - click on one. If you answer incorrectly, she will ask the same question again. When you answer them all - she will give you the potion recipe.
Go to the forging area and make all the dream molds you can. The colors on the dream jewels determine which ones you choose to place on the machine. Think about which 2 colors will make the match with colors at the top of the door.
This game is way too short. Good game but too short for what I paid.
I am enjoying the game but I cannot get through the third door. I cannot get match a red gem no matter what combination I try. help please.

At the bottom of all of my spells in the herbalists house it says finally add. And nothing else. Can someone give me the final item for each of the spells? Did anyone else experience this?
Foofalina - To see the final step in the recipes, you have to
decode the mixed up words on the other bag. You have to actually drag the letters into the correct positions.

I have finished the fairy retreat, but can't access the next door. I don't have the correct color gems. After reading the walk through and the hints & spoilers, I missed making a dream jewel, but can't figure out where? ccan someone help?

I'm not really sure, where you are right now, but maybe the following will already help. After the first dreamjewel, you will find in the tree-house, all others have to be made with molds and gold. For this you need to click the strange symbol in the Nexus on the floor and open an new location.

I presume you found Lilith and the 4 lenses there? Did you make the 4 new dream jewels from them? I had the same problem with the strange symbol. It is there even though you can't see it. Try clicking on the bar and you will pick it up. Then you can follow the rest of the steps to continue.

I LOVE the ending!
"But Lyra knew, if she was not the Chosen Child, there could be only one other." I KNEW Lilith was pregnant! Since the first scene she was in, just by the way she was sleeping and by how she was holding her stomach, I KNEW!!
I just realized something. Who's the dad?
I thought, "Maybe it was when (crap, I forgot his name) Faye's husband was taken," But then I thought, "No, he's Fairy, the father would need to be mortal" Anybody got an idea on who the dad might be?

I've had problems finding the last colored stone outside the treehouse many times. I've seen the screenshot and I've clicked everywhere that's circled. It just isn't there. I have to quit the game and restart and hope for the best. The other thing that seems to go missing is one of the windmill blades by the herbalist's house. I've had other people look as well and they just don't seem to be there. Possible glitch?

Are you playing it through for the second time on the same screen name? I have noticed that if you play it through again without switching to a new name, the placement of the objects in the scenes is different from the first time around.

Yes, the placement is different, but they still don't seem to be there. Next time I will take a screenshot. If someone here can find the missing stone/windmill blade, I'll bake them a ton of cookies. =)
This was so helpful thanks so much but I am having issues with finding the bear and the secret compartment on left wall. Is it in the childs bedroom or the parents. A screen shot would be most helpful.

I was hoping that I would find the walkthrough for the first Dream Chronicles games. I bought the game early 2008 and got stuck in the market place and I haven't gone on further since then.

I don't know how to solve the puzzle on the tree. Is there a special sequeze to click to align the planet symbols or is it random?
Lou - planet puzzle
It's your goal to bring all planets onto the top position
To do so, you press the three buttons below the disc
Each button moves two planets
Click the left button, till ONE of the planets is sitting on top
Do the same with the middle and right button
Now start with the left button again, then middle and so on, till all planets are at the top of their lane again
The planets you already had in the right position will also move, but this is ok, at the end, it will look like here on the screenshot

I'm at Nexus to Faye's house. I have the 2 dream jewels but can't solve the color puzzle to gain access. I can't get the red jewel to show up in the lower right of the triangle like the one that is lit up over the nexus door. I have tried moving the jewels a zillion times. Is there a bug in my game?
