Really been enjoying this totally addictive game ... up until the shells ... I may actually loose my mind if I don't that last stubborn shell soon!
I've looked through the comments and I think I've got all the ones mentioned. I got excited when I saw shawty613 had put up a cheat for it but as it turns out some level of computer literacy is required (I'm pretty much at the level of if the cumputer stops working restart it and hope for the best!). Hey ho.

You need to go to your C: drive programs/totem tribe/data/texture/game and then right click on the items folder. Pull up the attributes menu and change the permissions in general and security to allow you to write changes to items in that folder. Once the permissions are changed you should be able to do the gem paint thingy, but please remember to back up the items folder before you do anything.

I need help! I'm stuck on Beetle Islandwhere you have to light all six of the flames to get the tree key. I have tried so many different combos that it's maddening. Please tell me what I'm doing wrong.

I have been fighting the king shade for almost two hours. How do I beat him? I have three towers and a large army?

Make sure you have a lot of shamen. They are the strongest fighters. Gather your fighters up at the edge of the gateway pit and then send them to fight the king shade. Good luck!

I have made it through the other problems now I'm stuck on the first part of the comet. How do you get the last tower. I have tried to click on all the little towers, but I can make them all light up at the same time. Is there a trick to it?

To get all of the small tower lit at the same time, you need to navigate with the small map in the lower left corner. Click on a tower then on the map to jump to the next location. You have to be fast.

Yesterday I stuck on Beetle Island fighting these beasts! So I let my tribe have their battle and went watching TV. After about two hours they fought down the Big Beetle and won.

I did sign up, but unable to sign in.
Great game! I got the map to Lost Temple island once, but am unable to get it on subsequent gameplays. I got all the fruit, defeated False Aruku, found all chests, activated 5 idols (even tried it using alternate papaya-satisfied idols), tried placing hearoes, scouts, army, and tower on different combinations of the Special Purple Dot Spots! (S.P.D.S.'s for short). Any suggestions?
A response to some other comments: the chest that appears to the left of the main temple can be hidden by buildings; make sure a tower or something isn't blocking it. The last blue turtle shells are on the island with the chest that requires them. Also, you can be tricky and send your scouts into shark-infested waters to get to some islands by feinting/using scouts as bait then snatching them away/using them to lure the sharks one way then quickly put your scouts closer to the island you're trying to reach. Be sure you go back to beetle island after you get the aqualung.

In the upper left of the purple dot areas build a simple hut (workers will mill around the area once built). In the upper right area, build a hut as close as possible, right above the area (demolish anything you need to). Once the huts are built plant your explore flag in one of the lower purple dot areas and plant your war flag in the middle of the other. Watch the areas closely, and if you have to drag a worker into one of the top areas until all have turned green. Then the chest will appear with the map. Don't build towers, just regular worker huts.

Have you collected 100% of all the gems? You can only get to lost temple if you've collected all of the gems. Hover your mouse over the rainbow when you are in the map scene (that shows all the islands) and it will give you a percentage of what you have.

I am stumped as to how to open the chest requiring the building of a Frost Tower, Fire Tower and Thunder Tower. I have played all the way through to the Comet island and have not been given the technology to build a Thunder Tower. I'm also at a loss as to how to get Aruku close enough to get the black pearl from the pond on Mist Island. Can anyone help me with these two tasks? Thanks much!!

Ive completed all the tasks on mist island but am surprised at the amount of land that she cannot reach. Is this right or should she be able to uncover every inch of the screen?

hello everyone into totem tribe..I have v1.02 and I am at Guardian Moon but scrued with the light the lights puzzle..Also I do not see or have any orbs or collectors that are supposed to show up on the moon..Just the silly light puzzle which I CAN'T DO !!!!! I have watched and wrote down the bulbs he or she touched on youtube video and get NOWHERE FAST..I have also tried many of the ideas that I have found here on Jays and Enkord plus searched the net for more with NO LUCK..Got all gems and saw that v1.02 has some bugs which is probably why no orbs n collectors show on moon along with other puzzle..I don't care about that but do want the last item from chest with out taking hammer to system..Yes I AM ADDICTED TO THESE TYPE OF ADVENTURE GAMES LOL but hate leaving them unfinished..Is it a bug in game that will not let me turn on all lights as with the no show orbs n collectors or am I just tooooo stoopid n slow to figure out the routine..Rest of puzzle is a breeze so if any one can help PLEASE DO..I looked all over in the walkthroughs here and what I've found but still no working one..I am saving to update to v1.03 so maybe it won't be in that version and will work..thanks for any help and I hope one works ..Steve

When you were on mist island, did you find the four lightning things for the old man? If you did, you should have the ability to build a sky hall (which you can only build if you've built a wiseman's house). Once a sky hall is built you have the power to upgrade your towers to thunder towers. You may need to go back to Mist island if you don't have this ability.

As for the pond, just walk Aruku around the shore so that most of the pond is visible in the map, then click all around the pond. Eventually you will click on the pearl.

back again and still trying the light puzzle on Guardian Moon for the relic of prosperity..Do any of ya know if there is a cheat or trainer to do that light all the lights on the 4x4 light puzzle..Or did I miss something on another Island that needs to be there on Guardian Moon..All I have left to do is inside the comet and Guardian moon and want to do the moon first as I am afraid I won't be able to after the statue battle inside the comet..Trial and error don't cut it either..sorry about the earlier post but working the light puzzle on the moon for 4 hours kind of gets to ya..

You have to move the 3 balls from the top column to the bottom one. Every time you click to move the bottom ball will go to the bottom in the other column (I think). Start with moving red and grey ball to the right so you are free to move the white one to the bottom column since it have to be on the top. Then just test your way forward to put the balls in the order as they stood in the beginning in the new column.

The fishing line is in the very upper lefthand corner. To see it, build a tower on the edge of the land in the upper lefthand corner. The line is on a reel.

For the sparkling red dots that turn green when you put a person in them on the Island of Worship, do the following:

First, put your scouts in the lower right red sparkling area by putting the eye in the center of it. Second, pick another red sparkling area and put your attack flag in the middle and send your fighters into the middle of that one. Next, build a hut or tower in the third spot to send your workers there. Then put Aruku or Goru in the middle of the last sparkling area. You must have a person in all four sparkling areas at the same time or you have to start over. After doing this, you will receive a map to the lost temple.

In this game the level Frozen Vale Island, i am getting really frustrated, i have 24 shells left and i can not find one more to activate the totem.

Hello all, Just wanted to say I am so addicted to this game, started playing on 2-12-10 and now it is 2-15-10 and I am on the Comet Crash Site level. I just looked up this walkthrough yesterday when I was stuck on mist island. Everyone is so informative, THANKS FOR THE TIPS AND HELP.
I was stuck on the:

small purple pedestals also until I read a post that said to use your mini map to jump from pedestal to pedestal, there is 5 of them one near the totems, one kind of in the middle of the island and one to the top right and the last two by the purple crystal thing. you just really have to keep jumping and clicking on them FAST i started by counting and clicking one, next two next three and so on and that one time i did it i got it!!!

sorry this is so long but just wanted to help and give thanks...wish me luck and good luck to one and all!!!

oh and once you have destroyed all the pink crystals it is so much easier to find all of the gems in that level!!! won't say why though!!!

Back again, I just finished the Lost Temple island, getting ready to head to the Ruins of Dream Shore and I still seem to be missing two buildings. The one in the lower right hand corner of the build screen next to the herb garden, and the one to the right of the laboratory. Where/when do I get these buildings? Did I miss something?

i tried the black fog cheat and changed the gamevisual file like you said but it didn't work...HELP???? having trouble finding all gems and none of the cheats including the paint seem to be working???

I was on the volcano island, and an old man told me to go back to the witch island, and seek for a mask or so.

In fact I was ready, after hours of building, to fight the King of shades.

I quit, I save and went back to the previous island, and find the missing piece.

When I came back, all was lost, gone !!
It was the beginning again.....

I thought we could travel through the islands the way we want.

Have you got the same, and is it normal ?

Before you fight the last shade, you should be able to go back to all the islands to find things you couldn't the first time. It sounds as if all your game data was lost. You might try contacting the vendor where you purchased the game to see if there is a fix.

I used all hints and cheats, and found all gems, but I'm still on 99%, and can't get to Guardian moon. What's wrong?

A few things I've learned

If the game states there is nothing there...don't believe the game; keep trying. Persistence and patience are virtues in this game

You can paint some of the items in the game. ***Please be advised...changing these files could disrupt or make your game work incorrectly and ALWAYS, ALWAYS save the file before modifying*** (I painted some of the objects so they would show up better on screen shots.) (I saved mine on my desktop totally away from the folder in the game.) Found my missing gems beautifully!!!!!

1) Exit the game.

2) You will see all the items, make sure you make a copy of each item BEFORE you modify them and put them in a separate folder.

3) Use paint or another paint program to change the color of item you want to modify and save it. I used the spray can in paint and painted the outside edge of the item.

4) After you go back in the game, the item/s you altered in the folder will be modified in the game.

I am missing the last coin for the Merchant. Can't figure out what island or where it is. I've read everything everywhere as to where it's supposed to be and I still can't find it. Please tell me where!!!

Frozen vale island coin was the most dificult for me to find. If you didn't find that one, its on the right side of the place where you find the merchant. You have to bring your scouts as far as they can get. Then you'll see small piece of island, you must build tower there. When tower is built, you'll find coin. Others were easier to find.
Tried with painting, and that small program counter of missing coins, everything is OK, and I'm still on 99% :-(

Actually, it was Island of Yeti, and you have to build tower on the edge of the island before you see small island, where you also have to build tower. Sorry, just checked

On Cradle of the North after the multiplying Shades come, what kind of tower works best against them. I've lost this level twice with Fire Towers.

OK, someone HELP please! I'ts my fifth time, I've defeted monsters inside comet four times, I've used all cheats and hints and Encorde missing gems counter, I've found all gems, but not one time I had 100%, or got to the Guardian moon. It's boring allready to defeat monsters. My primary object now is to get to the Guardian moon AND I CAN'T! Tell me what I'm doing wrong? Or you can't go to moon before you defet monsters? I'm all alone in the forest, please help :-)

The gem utility did not work for me. I have windows 7. The quest files will not open with paint, either. It took a good while to find them, too. Any other ideas to know which islands to look for gems?

please help people. I'm (like lots of people) stuck on 99% of gems, I'm on windows 7, have removed the fog, changed the paint and still can't find the last gem(s). I don't know if I've missed a chest but I aint seeing one.... I've spent days on this game and I'm not giving up now.... I am unable to find the final orange and banana on Worship Island despite opening the chest. Having systematically clicked on every sq.mm. and demolished every single building I am wondering whether there is part of the scenery missing at top on my screen where some islands aren't complete. Should I alter the resolution or something? All the walkthroughs just say collect all the fruit as if it's easy and I have found everything else so far. It's extremely frustrating as that puts a complete stop to my gameplay. Please, please help me! (To quote the Beatles!)

I'm stuck on Cradle of the North. I have all but one crystal to find, I don't know if it will help its for the idol just above the thing you blow up, I've completed the objectives so I don't thing its necessary to complete it now I just like to see things finished ^.^

Hi, Stuck on Mist Island. Using the walkthrough. Trying to get the black Pearl. I found the lake to the right but don't see anything. I lit the pedestal in the area. The southeast area of the lake is black and I cant get any closer. Minimap doesn't show a way.I followed each step in the walkthrough. How can I get the pearl? Please help. Thanks

I am really late to this game but I need some help. I've read through ALL the comments on here and have seen this issue addressed several times but no clear answers. I am on Beetle Island at the flames. I found a youtube about it and watched it but it went to fast to track. I have spent almost 10 hours today on this one part of that island and seriously am considering uninstalling the game.

I've clicked in circles, both clockwise and counter clockwise, clicked diagonally, skipped every other flame, clicked across from the lit flame and randomly and nothing has worked. I understand that the flames that are going when you find them are random but there must be some sort of pattern to how you have to click.

I'm giving it the rest of this evening and then I think that will be it. I have loved this game so far, but it is supposed to be fun, not totally aggravating.

Any help would be appreciated.
