I have the pulley, now what do I do with it? I already completed the pipes, got the handle thing, turned on the water, now what do I do with the pulley? I even hit "hint" everywhere and nothing happens. I'm stumped!

you need to get oars and put them in the boat.
I'm REALLY stuck at the level where you need to turn the steam engine off. I know what to do, but the handle sort of floats above the inventory list and I can't use it. Do I need anything else? I thought maybe a magnet but can't find one.

this with the handle is kind of bug, some people have and others not, it seems.
I had the same and just went on clicking in the inventory bar, exactly at the place under where the handle shows up in the scene.
After I did that (10 -15 times,lol), the handle suddenly was connected to my cursor and I could go on.

You have to go back to the location with the stonehead. Put the pulley at the rope, on the top on the scene. As you already have place the handle, the scene will end there

The CROWBAR you will only find, if you made the third circle puzzle. Unfortunally I couldnt figure out that one either.
But there is always the option, that you click hints 2 times and instead of the word HINT you will see SOLVE - Thats the way to skip this puzzle. With this one I did, but I know, that it is to make, lol. But not with my brain ;)
After solving this puzzle in one or the other way, a fourth location will open and you will be able to find the crowbar.

lol, Im pretty sure, the left eye is glowing - I was going nuts with the right one too.
The little trick on the right side is, that you have to imagine this three rows in one. And then you have as tune: Ankh, scarab, eye, scarab, ankh

Hi, all -
Okay, maybe I'm just dumb as dirt, but I'm still stuck on the lightbulbs puzzle. You guys keep talking about moving the bars - the game won't even let me click on the blue and gold bars.
Also, when it comes to the gas can, I don't have a car in the ravine scene. In addition, I gave up and tried using the hints to get past this puzzle, but nothing happens, even when I click mupltiple times.
Any help would be much appreciated.

The lightbulb - puzzle
First you need the lightbulb in your inventory. You will find it at the waterfall-location. Take the light bulb that is on the left side of the scene. It blends into where the water actually starts falling down.
Go back to the Lightbulb puzzle and place the light bulb in the socket that has the broken bulb.
But this all wont help, when you do not have the gas.
In that scene, where you find the gas, there is the cave entrance when you look straight ahead.
On the left side down you see a boat. Below this boat, you see a barrel, and below this barrel there is a that car. It is bluegrey and it is standing with the back to you. Maybe the little red triangle from the backlights falls into your eyes. A little below this triangle you will find the gascan.
Did you already placed the wood plank over the pencil sharpener that is in the waterfall level on the lower right side? The plank you got in the Rusty Train location. When I remember right, this plank opens the location, where the gas can is hidden.

I cannot find the sling shot or the heart, I have found the ring but assume I need the slingshot to kill the spider. What am I missing????

This site is a life saver! I need an answer to the same question as Lady J. On the level with the 2 stone heads, I have solved both puzzles using the Tetris like pieces, but only one of the heads eyes glow blue continually and nothing else happens. The hint just gives a single ring tone, and there are no objects to use in the inventory. Please help, as it will not let you go back or forward! Thanks a lot!

Go to the scene with the big well in the middle, I think, its the one, that opened up after the 2 circle puzzle.
Click on the snow globe that is on the right side of the stone altar.
Go to the second scene, the one that says you need a crowbar and place the snow globe on the blue flower that is on the lower left side.
The snow globe will capture the light of the flower and will automatically go into inventory.
Go back to the third scene and place the completed snow globe on the right side of the altar. A hidden compartment will open up under the altar and the slingshot will appear.
Go back to the first scene and there will be a third circle puzzle to complete.

I ll try to explain a bit where the whale is, but I cant put pictures here, so its a bit hard :)
The whale is in the 4 location. On its left side there is a gear, over the whale is the part you have to click to change it to the triangle, over this you see stones of a wall, under the whale, the stones look brighter than over it.
Im not sure anymore, if the animals already have their color before you change that button, but if so, the whale is kind of purple.

In this puzzle the goal is to match the facial expressions of the statues that are on each side of the large stone face.
Use the 5 pillars that are in front of the face in order to manipulate different areas of the face.
The first pole changes the position of the mouth.
The second pole changes the markings on the face.
The third pole changes the ears or the side of the face.
The fourth pole changes the position of the eyes.
The fifth pole changes the symbol on the forehead.
Once you match the expressions on both of the statues you will be able to move on to the next puzzle.
If this is not what you are looking for, please try to explain further, where you are :)

I can't get my handle to attach to the pulley. I can pick it up but can't attach it to anything!
Thanks for trying to help me Kayleigh. Unfortunately that was not the right level. The one I needed help on was at the very end of the game where there are 2 big stone faces, one with a glowing beetle and one with a glowing spider. Then you have to fill the squards below them with Tetris like pieces. I went back and tried it a 3rd time, and this time the hint buttons worked after I had completed both square puzzles. Using the hints I was able to finish the puzzle. Thanks though. I'm going to try the whole game again and see if I can do all the puzzles I couldn't get. I was very glad to find this site!

No, you mentioned the third location, the 4 is the one right before the animalpuzzle.
On the left side, you see 7 or 8 columns, under this column is the whale. Did you already put the 4 gears in the right position?

The pulley has to be attached at the rope, left side top of the Vulcano Scene. The handle belongs to the other side, right beside the water, that comes out of the mouth of the statue

Hi Jess,
ok, as I really have no clue anymore, how to help you with small steps, I will post the walkthrough for this locations. This will be the easiest way for you to see, where you miss what :)
We start at the first scene:
Grab the gear that is on the lower left corner (directly above the word "list" next to the list of items).
Take the journal piece that is on the lower right corner, underneath the mushrooms.
Click on the space on top of the archway and a small door will open up.
Some shapes will start moving around until it displays the picture of a blue dragonfly.
Click on the lower left side of the scene, next to the big head and you'll see an etching of a bird, click on it and the bird will turn red and you'll see some shapes move above it.
Grab the set of weights with a hook that is on the lower right side of the scene.
Go to the third scene and retrieve the key that you need in this room.
Place the keys from inventory on the keyhole that is on the top right side of the scene.
Then click on the gear that appears so it can go into inventory.
GEAR 2
Take the journal piece that is on the round table, in the center of the room.
Take the weights from inventory and place it on the hook that is on the top right side of the scene.
As the weight comes down, a gear appears on the line in the back of it.
Click on the gear to place it in inventory.
Click on the flat stand-alone structure that is on the right side of the scene.
The frog carving will light up green and the symbols above it will change into what looks like the letter "U"
HUMAN SKULL/WHISK BROOM/TRIDENT-Gear 3
Click on the lever that is on the right side and you'll see the gear in the lower right side will start turning.
Pick up the journal piece that is on the lower left side, behind the mushrooms, at the base of the wall.
In this level the items in blue will not appear until you've opened the back wall.
The items in blue vary with each game, some people will have different items to look for.
Click on the mechanism that is in the lower left corner and you'll see the symbol of the butterfly turn yellow.
You will also that the symbol next to the butterfly will turn into what looks like a "pause" sign you would see on a remote control.
Click on the apparatus that is on the right side of the scene, next to the lever. You'll see a symbol for a purple serpent appear and what looks like an upside down triangle.
Click on the key that is on the top right side of the back wall and it will go into inventory. (You will need to use that key in the first scene, please read the instructions on the Gear 2 section. )
Click on Gear 3 that is located on the lower left side of the scene.
Place the 4 gears according to the screenshot.
COURTYARD
This is the last location that opens up. From the map tab it is actually in the fourth position, right before the animal puzzle.
Click on the structure that is on the left side and you'll see the carving of a dolphin turn light purple and the symbol of a number zero on top.
Take the journal piece that is at the bottom left side. It is in the mouth of the stone animal head that's close to the door.

hi i am stuck on the same part that grumpy was stuck on. the two statues with the tetris puzzles in the middle. i would really appreciate it if someone could help. i have done the puzze twice and after i solve the tetris puzzles for both of the statues, it doesn't do anything. Help me please.

After I finished the 2 puzzles, I just kept hitting the hint button, as I was so frustrated with doing over the squares at least 3 times! The hint button only gave me a "ding" sound the first 2 times. But the 3rd time, it worked. I'm wondering if it's a bug. Anyway, I remember it made 2 curtains come down, each with holes and symbols. They had to be rotated to line up somehow, and then the space between the 2 figures opened up. I can't remember after that. I wanted to replay the level, but it was the end of the game! So now I'm starting completely over. Boy this game is addicting! Good Luck.

When both puzzles are done, click on the giant beetle and spider at the head of the statues
After done this a new puzzles appears.

I need help on the 3rd part of the hanging monkeys puzzle. Do both rows have to be the right colors at the same time? If not, which do you have to do first? When I use the biggest monkey, he pulls the gems off the board, so I don't see how to do both rows at once. Thanks for any help you can give me.

On the hanging monkeys puzzle, on the 3rd part where there are 2 lines to match, do you have to do both at once? If not, which do you do first?
Also if I try to do both lines at once, the biggest monkey makes the gems go off the board. Do you just not use him on the last part? This is one of the puzzles I didn't get the first time around, so now I'm determined to figure it out!

lets say it like this: You always bring me too THAT point, lol
I finished this one per accident, but: You can first finish one line and then the second line. At the end both lines have to look like the example.
It seems, that its easier to first do the upper line.
I really cant remember anymore, if I had the biggest monkey with it. As I said, suddenly it was done.

I alreaydy finished the pin which got me the crowbar - which got me the man out of the plant. I have a broken crystal ball in inventory. I need help on the gear part. I have found two gears and have 4 blue items left to find. I figured out the part about the snake, frog, butterfly, dragonfly and bird turning gold, but I can't find the fish piece.
I, too, am having a problem with the steam engine, which is now producing lots of steam. I've placed the pulley, which doesn't do anything and am left with the floating pump handle. It didn't float until after I placed the pulley. What do I do with that handle? I can grab it in the puzzle scene, but not in the head scene.

Hi, I just got to the room with all the beetles and the purple juice that goes in the water. When I put the juice in the water, the screen turns white and I can still hear the music but no picture. Did I do something wrong or is there a problem with the game?

O.K. I am on the one with the three circle/ beetle light puzzle thing.
I got through the puzzles and found all the items in the map areas so they all say zero but it has not opened up another level or another room for me. Is the computer gliching or am I missing something?
Someone else asked about the floating handle bar I had that problem too that is a glitch.. I redid the level and it worked fine.

What are the penalties for at the end of each stage if they are not wrong click penalties?
I've found when I have replayed the game and only click the correct items my penalties are very low or zero.
Can someone explain to me how I can totally eliminate the penalties, so I can get 100% top score.

Have not been able to open back wall, so have not been able to find fish or whale. How does one open the back wall??

The screenshot refers to the item on the lower right of the 3rd map with the one gear in place and the 4 knobs -- place the 4 gears from inventory on the knobs in the right order and the back wall opens to map 4 -- note that not all of map 4 appears with the whale or fish until you exit that map and return.

In all rooms you can find animal symbols, you have to click them and then click the button, which is always below or under the symbol. You have to click so long, till you find the triangle, that shows the position of the animal on the door. You can control that by going back to the door. When you are right, the animal part at the door will be highlighted.
You will find the bird and the dragonfly in the first location
The frog is in the second location
The snake and the butterfly are in the third location
The fish is in the fourth location

After finishing the tetris puzzle you have some symbols on the statue and a wheel in the middle.
Click on the button in the middle of the wheel and you'll notice that the shapes in the that are on the wheel will change.
Your goal is to keep pressing the button until you find the symbols on the wheel that match the lit symbols in the puzzle box.
Once you have the right symbols, click on the wheel so the pieces match the same position of the lit symbols on the box.
Repeat the same procedure for both statues.
Once everything is correct, the eyes of both statues will be blue.

Penalty Answer - I figured out that I got a 100 point penalty every time I asked for it to show me a picture of the item I was looking for! And no penalty for extra clicks.
Kayleigh - Thanks for all the help you're giving everyone. I was glad to hear that you used the hints on those 3 circular light puzzles, since I HATE them! LOL I've gone back and figured out almost all the other puzzles, but those are impossible!

Im a little confused, so I have to ask back: You managed the pipe puzzle, put the lever and the pulley on their places...That should have ended the level and you should be in a level where you have to find a crowbar and an imprisoned emerald. Or are you already further and made the first circle puzzle?

I've completed all 4 cycles in this level - 1st 2nd and 4th - shawing 0 cluse left, only the 3rd cycle is with no cluse whatsoever. on the last cycle I have a BLUE object next to the stoned face - indicating that the screen is not comleted. should I move the pully to the cave? (gave it a try - no good), what do we mean by "an imprisoned emerald"?

This is a screenshot of the location, I think, you are right now. Have a look please, if it is right.

An 'imprisoned emerald'is an object, you have to look for (its an emerald, that is in a kind of a box)
When this is not exactly what you are looking for, than at least, it might help me to find out, where your problem is.

some people had an issue with this level, as they didnt had any instruments, when they came in the room. Seems to be a glitch, not for everyone, but for a lot. Close the game once and then go back and the instruments will be in the bar at the bottom of the side.
If this is not your problem, then have a look here:
* Your goal is to charm the snakes by using the metronome.
* You have to turn the dials on the metronome until the snakes start to dance in unison with the pendulum of the metronome.
* If this was a clock you would position it to the 1 o'clock hour.
* Place the accordion in front of Oswald
* The purple instrument in the middle, in front of Fabiano
* Place the drum on the last stool in front of Ringo.
* You have to play the instruments a certain amount of times in order to get them to stop at certain colored markings on the wall.
* Click the accordion five times until Oswald stops at the yellow line.
* Click on the purple instrument 4 times in order for Fabiano to stop at the green line.
* Click on the drum in front of Ringo 6 times, so Ringo can stop at the red line.
* Once it's all entered correctly, all the snakes will go down to the bottom of the basket.
* Click on the glass eye at the bottom of the basket to end the level.

I need some help with the puzzle the requires you get all the dots to light up on the circle? I think this is near the end of the game. Thanks.

I figured out the circle puzzle with the lights (see above). The hint feature helped me. For those that need help:
in the first spot use the upside down fat "t"
in the second spot use the two symbols that make up a square (they nest into each other)
in the third spot use the triangle
in the fourth spot use the circle
Hopefully they don't change the puzzle every time you go into it or this might not be correct for everyone.

Okay, I'm stuck in the train car. I have a lightbulb and a wood plank, and that is all. I do not have fuel and it has never had me pick up any fuel. How do I complete this. The "hints" button is not doing anything either!
WHITE SCREEN ISSUE -- several users have had an issue with getting a white screen. I've not heard of a fix as yet. You can get around it. At the point where the white screen appears, click Menu ... then click Replay. You lose progress for that segment only. Most say this resolve the issue.
White page problem
I'm at the temple and have opened the door with the temple key. I get a white screen and no amount of replaying the previous two screens changes this. I really don't want to have to go back to the beginning (not sure I want to have to redo the lightbulbs again) but will if I have to. has anyone else solved this problem?

WHITE SCREEN ISSUE:
as told before: This was the first version and there is an update for this issue. Just contact the support of the site, where you bought the game.
You will get an update and everything is fine.

did you already found the boltcutter? At the red train you have to use it at the red wagon
And did you do the circle puzzle three times? You always have to go back to the first location, and do another puzzle, all in all three times. Solving the puzzle will open new locations.
