To whispering2u:
That pile of rocks is to build another hut. You need level 3 Restoration to build it. After that, your population will be able to go to 90+.
Thanks for info on 3rd hut. Working on it. What is the shop and where do I find it? Any screen shots would help. Thanks
To whispering2u:
If you're talking about the sewing hut, it shows up very late in the game. For me, usually after everything is built, after all puzzles are solved, and after buying all technology. The foundation for it will appear to the right of the hut you are currently building.
Thanks for the info Pam on sewing hut. Have a new problem. Behind the door after the last key?
Hows everyone? Well i wanted to know what do i have to do to get a hospital? I love this game. I can't get out of my computer because of this game.....hahaha
Whispering2u:
What exactly is your question?
To Crazygracy:
You can start training doctors in the hospital area after you purchase level 2 Medicine.
Than you again for info.
I have a question. How much people can you have with love hut and 1 built hut?
i don't understand do you have to build all the huts before you can finish the last puzzle?
To Nikko:
The love hut doesn't count toward population. With one hut, you can have up to 17 villagers.
To .....
I don't believe you need all huts built to finish the last puzzle. However, because of population needs, most everyone has built that last hut anyway.
I have some problems with the 9th puzzle, it is almost finished, my villagers moved the statue up to the hill but at a point I can't do anything else if I drag a master builder to the statue they don't do anything, with the chief the same, I can't finish it.
Please help me!
[Edit: Please check the FAQ at the top of this page. -Pam]
heres a tip for beginners
when you first start bring one man to the love hut and one woman then drag them on top of each other until it says they improved in parenting wait and see if she gets a baby then wait until she stops nursing the baby and do all over again
I've got Level 2 Faction, a working alchemy and Adept Scientist but The 6th herb still does not appear, please help
To Celine:
Did you check question #1 in the FAQ at the top of this page? Also, try restarting the game. Sometimes this helps to reset it and makes the plant appear.
where can i find the other herbs i only know the sixth rose and black orchid herb where are the others ?
To Yakuzaku:
Please see Question #11 in the FAQ at the top of the page for your answer.
err,may i ask what is the broken machine in the orchard use for?
I have already fix it,and when it rains,my villager won't stay still. And when the bucket starts to fill with water,i can't allow my villager to be at the platform.
Help me,thanks :DD
oh ya, and where can i find the tablet?
i have been playing for quite some time already, but still i can't find any.
Must i undergo some kind of process before the tablet will appear?
thanks again.
Hey, I already restarted the game once and still I can't get the statue fixed
the builders always get it to the top and then I can't get the chief to keep directing their work.
any ideas?
thanks
lala
To Illusion:
Once you have the lift repaired (the broken machine in the orchard), it's a matter of timing. You need to get a villager onto the platform just as it starts raining. Check question #2 in the FAQ at the top of this page for more information.
The tablet pieces appear near the bottom of the screen when you start clearing rubble. They are random like the other collectibles.
To blingbling:
Check question #5 in the FAQ at the top of this page.
So Version 1.00.04. is the old one or the newer one?
To illusion:
Version 1.00.04 is the new corrected version that is needed for the statue bug.
I can't find the "multi-colored stick like object" needed to repair the lab. What does it look like?
To Sue Rice:
Here is a screenshot of the Alchemy Stick. It's actually a knife, I think.
http://images.jayisgames.com/hs_pam_virtualvillagers3_alchemystick.jpg
One of my female villager can't get pregnant.
Is it because of old age, because she is already 51 years old and the male is 49.
But they can still improve in parenting.
Thanks again. :D
HELP!! I need help with Puzzle 15. i can get my builder to polish the pearl but my chief refuses to pick it up. Any suggestions?
To Illusion:
Females stop having babies at age 50. She is too old.
To Kay:
A Master Builder rounds off the stone, then a Master Scientist polishes it. After that, the chief can pick it up.
hah,sorry to disturb you again
because this is the first time playing VV3
so i kinda need help :D
If a male and female villager have the same dad,but different mum,can they still make babies?
Thanks alot :]
To Illusion:
Yes, they can have babies. Bloodlines don't matter in this game. Once they become adults, there's not even a record of who the parents are. :)
Thanks :D
Another question...(hehe)
I have no more children now. How can I collect the collectibles? My population is 35 now, that's why I cannot produce more babies.
How?
Thank you :DD
To Illusion:
You can't pick up any collectibles or mushrooms if there aren't any children. However, your population can go all the way to 90+ if you:
Build the third hut after purchasing Level 3 Restoration. It's located to the left of the other huts.
Okay, I love the walkthrough. My only question, and I've scoundreled through the walkthrough to not find it, is how to solve puzzle 7?
Thanks.
Hey! I love the walkthrough, it's very helpful. However, after looking over and over through it, I can't find anything about puzzle 7. I may have missed it or just be being stupid, but does anyone no how to solve puzzle 7?
Thanks!
To Bubble and Karen:
You can find puzzle #7 at the top of this page under "Hints for Specific Puzzles."
every time I make the potion for "light and springy" it burns instead. Any hints to make it "light and springy" instead?
To Antique1944:
You probably used the wrong potion. The correct potion is:
Rose + Cactus + Lotus
The FAQ question #11 at the top of this page has screenshots of each of the herbs in case you have the wrong herb by mistake.
I have my villagers doing puzzle 9 BUT some bizarre random pop ups happened and said that the villagers couldn't work on it for a DAY, and I've waited a day and
its currently stuck at the top... and no one (chief and others)
will not do anything... HELP!!!!!
Oh thanks :D
I have tons of questions to ask you. :]
First: What is their purpose of
washing their laundry? Will it increase any skill or?
Second: By study medicine help in increasing tech? Or only research can help?
Third: What is the hut beside the love hut for? I know that it will help by increasing the population up to 90+,but i read one of the comment that it is a sewing hut. But what is it used for and how to you use it?
THANKS A MILLION :D
I have 2 questions:
1) Will I still be able to collect tablets after the rubble-clearing project is finished?
2) Currently I have 5 dead people, but only 2 shows up on the Roster of the Dead? I've waited, but it's still the same for a while now...
To Soveriegnty:
Look at question #5 in the FAQ at the top of this page.
To Illusion:
1. Doing laundry doesn't directly increase any skill, but it's necessary for the smooth function and health of the tribe. It's like when they eat. You can interrupt them if it's important, but generally you should let them do it.
2. Studying medicine does not increase tech or science points. It only trains doctors to Trainee, Adept, and Master levels.
3. The hut you see next to the love hut is a regular housing hut for population purposes. The sewing hut will appear separately late in the game.
To NMT:
1. Yes, you will still be able to collect the tablet pieces in the same area where the rubble was cleared.
2. Have the remains of all of the people been picked up for burial? They don't show up on the Roster of the Dead until they are buried. Otherwise, try restarting the game and see if they show up.
Are any points gained when the chief contemplates the tribe, thinks, or lectures? Do the villagers gain anything from attending a lecture? How about the stories the chief tells to the children... is there any benefit? Thanks so much for your time in regards to this inquiry!
To Nickel:
About the chief -
When the chief "contemplates the tribe" it's when there are still challenges for the tribe. It will change to "proud of the tribe" when there is plenty of food and shelter, etc. No points for any of it. It's just something the chief thinks about when he/she isn't busy with something.
There are no points or benefits when the chief does a regular lecture for all villagers. It's just something to do and it's a good way to get everyone in one place if you want to look for collectibles without villagers getting in the way.
However, there is a benefit when the chief lectures only the children (by dropping the chief on a child). This is how children gain experience points before reaching adulthood. Toward the end of the lecture, each child will get a white dot of sparkly light on his/her head. This is when the unit of experience is given to the child.
I just discovered if a potion blows up sometimes if you make it over and over (3 or 4 times) it will work without upgrading alchemy.
Sorry eh,i need help again :D
I was about to do the statue puzzle already.
But my chief cannot do the scaffolding.
I've got the Level 3 Restoration, Level 3 Leadership, completed Puzzle #8, a Chief, lots of trained builders, and i've drawn the plans. BUT...
When i 'fly' my chief to the spot until it 'see a good place to anchor the statue',but she will go inspect the food,or she will be proud of the tribe.
My game is the correct version,so what happen?
Thanks AGAIN:]
How do you solve puzzle number 4 and how do you get the chief to show the rare objects? I have leadership 3 and nature level 3, done with statue and door is open. All levels recovered except science. Need help please. I have 11/12 of all shells, feather, coral and tablets. Trying finish my collection.
To Illusion:
You need a Master Builder to build the scaffolding, not the Chief.
To Roseofsharon:
For Puzzle #4 -
Puzzle 4 is clearing the leaves located on the far right of the village, below the cliff area. Just drop any of the villagers on it and they will start clearing the leaves away to reveal the Roster of the Dead. Here's a screenshot of where the leaves are found.
http://images.jayisgames.com/hs_pam_virtualvillagers3_clearleaves.jpg
For finding rare collectibles -
Every 24 hours, you can place your chief at the top of the path, just to the right of the door leading into the secret room. The chief will dance in a circle and then point. When that happens, there is a rare collectible somewhere on the island. You have to search for it just like you do for all collectibles. It only remains for a short time and will disappear if you don't find it fast enough. Also remember that even though it's guaranteed to be a rare collectible when the chief points it out, it may not be the specific one you're missing. They occur randomly.
How many master builders do you need to move statue? Thanks.
[Edit: ALL of them!! No, seriously, the statue will hold up to 15 or 20 builders and the more you use, the faster it will go. They don't even have to be Master level. As long as they have some builder training, even Trainee and Adept can work on the statue. -Pam]
I've got enough tech points to buy buy restoration Level 3(is leadership Level 3 necessary too?) to start puzzle 9, however, I do not have a Master Builder at this moment as there were no building projects to be done. I kept dragging one of my villager to hut fixing, however, when I'm away, his building skills doesn't seem to increase.
What should I do?
Help me i have to fix the lift and i put 2 adept builders on it and they wont fix it do i have to have some sort tech to fix it PLEASE HELP!!!
My builders won't remove leaves. Occasionally they will recognize the pile if I move them over the top, but they never remove any, and then I can't find the pile.
To Mylastpost:
You need level 2 restoration and 3 Adept Builders.
To dc
Here's a screenshot of the leaves. Just keep dropping them on it until they keep working on their own.
http://images.jayisgames.com/hs_pam_virtualvillagers3_clearleaves.jpg
How to let old villagers make babies?
Thanks!
To Jean:
Female villagers stop having babies at age 50. Nothing will change that. Male villagers can make babies until they die.
Yay.....I finished the game, all my puzzles are done! but, i havent got all the collectables and they havent been appearing for a while especially the tablet pieces i cant find anymore of them at all.....:)
Hey more questions, my awards..... can i get a jack of all trades even though thers no more projects and stuff, i also dont have triplets, 50 potions, legendry leader, ancient elder do i just keep going or is even possible now :) :)
To Stephanie:
The collectibles will continue to appear randomly for as long as the game runs. The tablet pieces will appear in the same spot where the rubble was cleared.
You can still get the awards even after you've finished the puzzles. To increase building skill, check question #8 in the FAQ at the top of this page.
Leave it to a child player to figure this out...if you pause the game and drag a child to the extreme upper right ocean, they will stay there forever (or until needed). It may take a few tries before they "stick" to the spot, but once there, they stay put. This works well when you need to locate a child to pick up a collectible or a mushroom.
I really love VV3, but I got a few questions
1. I have harvested the honey and planted the friut tree and havested it, what do I do next? My people are ethier dead or VERY sick!
2. Where can I find a good walkthough for VV3? And where can i find pictures of the herbs?
Hey, I found out that kids can go and collect herbs for you later on in the game. This makes it a lot faster seeing how some of them are so slow and the kids are moving really fast.
But I really have to be careful about the genders of them.
A few times I almost had all boys or all girls. I had to reproduce quick to hope to get the opposite gender to even out.
Hi, Could someone help me regarding the broken table next to the research table. I can't get it fixed. I have level 3 Alchemy and Restoration but I still can't get anyone to fix it. Thanks.
To Deanne:
The science lab will get cleaned up automatically after you purchase level 3 Science.
My scientists, even with the chief directing the work, are so slow! How can I make them work a bit faster so I can accumulate tech points more quickly? I already have level two of most tech areas.
To Mozee:
Check question #4 in the FAQ at the top of this page.
i think in order to get the key in the fire, you have to continuously light it for at least 60 hrs.
I'm trying to build the statue, so far, I got that lever or whatever it is built, but I cant get anyone to acutualy start building the statue.
I drop them on the statue, and they fall right through it. It's not solid. Where to put them to make them work on it?
Please and thank you.
P.S. Here's something I didn't know, a kid can be the chief too O.o
To DuffysAngel45:
To build the statue -
You have to put your chief on the statue first to direct the work. Then drop trained builders. You can drop them at the base of the statue, or you can drop them on the hot spot on the path near the scaffolding. It will say something about seeing a good place to work on the statue.
my tribe chief stopped directing the work on the statue... so my other builders stopped too. Whenever I put the chief back on the statue, he says "inspecting food" "proud of tribe" BUT he doesn't direct work anymore. The statue was past the tigerlily herb when they stopped working. HOW CAN I MAKE HIM DIRECT WORK AGAIN?
If my chief is a girl can it have babies? If it can, can it still have chief powers? Plese I neeed an answer
Hey again,
Sorry to bother you but im wondering about the little picture thats right above the rose bush. Is is part of a puzzle?
Im probaly going to ask lots of questions since this is my first time playing the full version.
Thanks :]
To Gesprit:
Please see question #5 in the FAQ at the top of this page.
To Doggirl16:
Yes, a female chief can babies. Just as with all other females, she won't do anything but nurse the baby for two years. She won't do any chief stuff during that time.
To JIGuest:
The pictures above the rose bush are symbols that represent the ingredients to make the potion needed to retrieve the pink gem on the cliff above.
Ok thanks Pam!!
Thanks so much Pam! You are a big help.
How can I train more builders? I built both huts, the bath, cleared leaves, and cleared rubble. I have level two restoration. What do I do????
Thanks :]
Hi again.
I have loads of tech points. But what should I spend it on? I've got level two of everything. Any suggestions?
Thanks :-]
JIGuest-
Loads of tech points? Lucky. I've got level two of everything but faction and medicine. I'd recommend getting lvl2 faction ASAP! You _NEED_ the benefit from that.
The benefit is part of the potion to get rid of the *major spoiler ahead*
Sharks so you can fish in peace (No more food trouble EVER, from what I understand. (34k of 50k tech points right now, lol.))
Also, I'd say the improvements to science are MUCH needed too. I did the math on it, and lvl2 science DOUBLES the normal tech point gain.
As I type this, I decided to look into how many tech points each level of scientist gets. Comment regarding this is forthcoming. Also, JIGuest.
Try seeing if you could get those in your tribe who know BEST about food to cook it. If they do a poor job, maybe they need a leader. If it still doesn't work, maybe you need more of them.
This is puzzle #5, btw.
hello!i have a problem with puzzle #13 and the fire diamond.i left the fire burn out and i drag a villager to the fire and he said that was confused and there is not a firewood there.
this was the second i was leaving the fire burn out and i got the same anwser.can anyone help me???
Help! I have a real problem! My tribal chief was only 5 years old when she was selected by the robe. (I guess that's how it's done!) Now the tribe has moved the statue to the top and repaired it. A Master Builder has prepared the pearl for the Chief to finish, but she can't (apparently) do that because she lacks the skills! I guess I never thought that would happen. Is there some way I can get it finished? Thanks to all who help.
How do I get the pearl from the clam shell please HELP
ok nevermind on my question about the pearl I found it tyvm
Well, I've done everything. All the puzzles have been solved. I've been waiting for the last of the collections to be completed, but I only seem to find common items. The tile collection just stopped when the work on rubble removal was finished. I know I can have the chief point out a rare item once a day, but she seems to point out things I already have.
So except for the collections, there seems to be nothing else to do. I have quite a few young people lying on the ground, with the caption, "unsure what to do" under them. Just what comes after all the puzzles are solved? Is the game over? How boring!
To doggirl16:
If you don't have anything else to build, check question #8 in the FAQ at the top of this page.
To JIGuest:
If you already have level 2 in everything, you've probably solved the problems of the sharks. I would recommend buying level 3 Restoration and Leadership. This will let you get started on the statue puzzle.
To Will:
I'm confused about the last part of your post. Puzzle 5 doesn't involve cooking. What exactly are you referring to?
To JIGuest:
About the ash key -
You to keep your fire burning until you see white sparkles in it. At that point, let the fire burn out and you'll see the gem in the ashes.
To Mozee:
I guess you got the pearl puzzle solved if you're done with all of the puzzles. It just takes time for the rest of the collectibles to show up. The tablet pieces will continue to appear where the rubble was. If you've seen the story of the spirits, you're pretty much done with the game. Although it will run indefinitely unless something happens to destroy your tribe.
Did anyone else have three sharks swimming around their village? my farmer just goes "roki sees a shark" but he isn't afraid. (possibly because the three sharks have sparkles on their dorsal fins...) I already banned the sharks but these three with lovely sparkles managed to stay. they aren't bothering anything i just wondered if they meant something special.
How do you use the sewing hut?
Whats the love hut?o.o
To Harlay:
You have those sharks because you have Magic Faction. When you get rid of the sharks in Magic Faction, some stay behind, but are harmless. In Nature Faction, they disappear completely. Your sharks don't have any other purpose.
To Cougar:
To use the sewing hut, drop a villager onto it. You can select new clothes for the cost of 5,000 tech points.
To Kane:
The "love hut" is where couples go to make babies. It's located near the waterfall.
I've cleared up all the rubble, but only have half of the tablet pieces collected. I wonder, where are the rest of the tablets? Also, what would happen if I completed the collection of tablets? Thanks.
[Edit: This is answered in the FAQ in blue at the top of this page. -Pam]
I have level two nature faction, various master scientists, as well as the alchemy lab. I've combined the orchid x2, and the pitcher plant, and when I have a scientist use the potion, they have an epiphany, and then go back to researching without solving the shark dilemna. This has happened multiple times and I have restarted the game. What should I do?
To JIGuest:
The only thing I can think of is maybe you are gathering the wrong herbs. You have the correct potion, but maybe you're mistaking a different plant for the black orchid. Check Question #11 in the FAQ at the top of this page for screenshots of all of the herbs to make sure you've got the right one.
I've moved the statue to almost the top of the path, but it had not been set upright yet. But strangely at this point, whenever I drop the chief or other builders onto the statue, showing 'xxx sees a fallen statue', no one gets to work nor is the chief directing any. What's the problem here? Thanks.
[Edit: This question is answered in the FAQ at the top of this page. -Pam]
I have completed almost all of the puzzles with the exception of the rain water one, but I was just wondering about the collections whats the point of collecting all turtle shells feathers coral and so forth do you get something after you collect 12 of each...?
To DKHF:
Besides the satisfaction of completing the collections, each one completed will add to your maximum population.
I have a Master Dr but I can't get him to put Lotus flowers in the bath pots.
To Uniquewoman2000:
You need level 3 medicine for aromatherapy.
I have been trying to give a couple of adept builders more experience on building by the potion and by fixing the huts for over a day now. It says they gain experience in building and construction, yet their experience meter has not moved at all. I need a master builder to draw plans for the statue.
[Edit: Try restarting the game. Also, even though the bar seems not to move, it's just moving very slowly sometimes. -Pam]
What exactly is the point of having the chief direct work? It doesn't do anything as far as I can tell.
In the research area, do they ever clean up the mess? I already fixed my alchemy lab, but the research area still looks a mess.
[Edit: That will happen after you purchase level 3 Science. -Pam]
Thank you Pam for the answer. I was more just wondering than worried.
do you know you can fast forward your game? I don't know if it has been posted here, but you can have your game advanced. Just go to control panel and adjust date and time. During the first time of the game, I kept on pausing my game and advancing my date one date one day ahead. Since the chief could only create magic food just once in 24 hours, this trick is super helpful. Just make sure to pause your game before doing this trick. If you're a little impatient in waiting for some projects to be finished (e.g. waiting for hut to be constructed), you could advance your time little by little (without pausing the game) for progress. Don't overdo it especially when you haven't obtained the puzzle where you could get unlimited supply of fish. I did mine too much and my tribe died of starvation. I think there might me a little disadvantage though, and I'm not sure if it's true, but doing this might make you miss collecting items for your collection.
[Edit: We advise against changing your computer clock. Not only can it ruin your game, it can also mess up other functions on your computer that rely on the computer clock. -Pam]
To JIGuest:
When the Chief directs work, the villagers are supposed to work more efficiently. I can't really tell if it makes a difference either. :)
What is the pile of rocks for by the love hut? I am always told need more research. I have bath, lift, memorial rock done. I have plenty of food and 35 villagers. I am told no room for anymore babies. My folks are working up to 150,000 tech points. Do you have any info for building that hut? Is that the shop? Any screen shots would help. What should I buy? I am level 2 everything
nature. How do I move froward at this point. Thank you
