which speedrun is a good one for getting fish?
Ok, I'm considering quitting the game because I think I've got some kind of glitch, I'm like to hear what other people say.
The game seems to spontaneously decide to forget about all my stat upgrades - I'll be running along, then all of a sudden, I'll slow down. And I can barely accelerate. Then, it remembers again, and I regain my jump, acel, etc.
Anyone else having this problem?

I have had the same problem on different computers. If your dino slows down like that, I think either pressing down or jumping will help you get back to speed.
Btw, don't start over if that's your only problem.
Anybody having trouble connecting to multiplayer mode? I keep trying and it just infinitely says it's connecting to some superawesome future computer.
MD: version 1.106 should fix this problem. sorry if it's been frustrating you. for some reason it slipped under the radar...
Is secret survival the place with the vine on the top and is a cave with raptors but know lizards?

dibkins:if you get "doomed" it will say "you have x time
shifts left press space to use this one" to put it simple
time shifts are lives (ps. x means 1 2 or 3)(pss.if you use one you start at the start of the lvl) hope this helped!
Are there certain levels where you can't get a trophy for dactyl-chains? I've gone through and had two three-dactyl chains, and no trophy. I don't even have the bronze yet. Can you only get it in Challenge mode?

Hi Bishop. Looks like you've run into the same glitch that I ran into once. I think the trophy simply won't show up no matter what for some reason. It's a very frustrating bug >.<
Also, you should normally be able to get the dactyl trophies on any level.

in the apocalypse level of challenge mod, drop in the big volcano and go to the upper right chamber, you have to jump a bit and then you go through a tunnel and can enter a portal

strange,i never reached the paradise island.
instead i went into this cave (by accident)!I thought i was gonna lose coz i was trapped with that wall thing gaining on me.but then this tunnel thing opened up,allowing me to go into this safe place,with vines and othe dinos,with LOADS of plants.I won anyway gettig into that cave thing.What is that cave anyway?How do you reach the island in story mode??

does anyone else have problems with completing the saved dinos trophy? I've been stuck on 33 for a long time, no matter how many times I complete a run, on any difficulty.
i just started playing this when it was put up on kongregate... and i have everything except for the gold dinos saved trophy, and just like the person above i am stuck at 33 dinos saved. i am wondering if he was on kongregate and if so could it be that version or something?
An absolutely wonderful and addicting game.
My one suggestion stems from the fact that I found and have been playing it on Newgrounds; after growing so attached to my little dino and leveling him up rather well, I find I can't play with him against other players, considering it has to be on XGen or Pixeljam to do so, and the save resources aren't flash tradable. Sad dino :(
Otherwise, I'm having tremendous amounts of fun.
A final question; I would like to donate to wear little hats (silly though it is), but because of aforementioned problem, I just worry a bit that it only 'unlocks' in one version. Is the password reusable?
why cant i use cheats? i type a cheat on the blank click the cheat i want then see if it works i typed in the explore cheat i waited there and they pyroclastic wall of doom was still there

Hey guys, im going to update the game to version 1.118, this will give you a dino saved any time you complete a speedrun on insane difficulty. this should help with people getting stuck on the stat "dinos saved". sorry about that oversight.
Does anyone know how long of a doom run you need to have to get the trophies? I got a thirty second one, but didn't get it. If it makes a difference, I play on Kongregate.
Hey I played insane challenge all the way through (with cheats) and i never got planetD.Any help?
How on earth do I get the Iguano egg? It's the one behind the waterfall on Level 4, but I can't jump high enough to get it from below or find another way in. Please help, it's driving me mad.

So, if anyone hasn't gotten to this yet, about Paradise; it can be found on Medium Challenge, as well as Hard and Insane. Or to remember it easily; if it had a crown in Speedrun (which was all but Easy), then it can be found in the challenges, as well. Specifically, Paradise and Secret Survival (the latter has been covered though, I believe).

So, I hope this is gotten to, but... how is it that I unlock Planet 0 (Planet D)? I've beaten Speedrun on Medium and Insane (I believe on Hard), and from what I understand, you only need to beat the Insane speedrun to unlock it. But today, I was told that you also need to win the Insane Challenge. Is this true, and do you need to have a certain amount of trophies, as well?

does anyone know how to get the Rinch egg in level 3 I have max jump and I've tried to use the triceratops for a boost from every angle I can think of but I just can't make it up, and I don't want to have to cheat to get it
Wuggles, the best way to get the Rinch egg is to go for it on Planet D. It has low gravity on by default, so you can easily jump for it on there.
How do you get that trick where you can get the bronto egg and keep it?

If you play Meteor Meltdown on Medium or higher...
It's like the second half of Challenge level 6/Apocalypse...
Y'know, the level with the HUGE dino skeleton that gives you like, a hundred bones when you run through. :)
To enter cheats:
You click above the line next to password, type the password, and press enter. The cheat you have put in will be highlighted in green. Click the cheat to enalble it. To make sure it is enabled, check to see if there is a white egg with spots next to the cheat.
If you want to beat apocolypse on insane and beyond apocolypse.. you'll need to beat the speed run levels twin peaks and death racer a few times to get the feel for it.
You will need all your stats maxed and at least 500 dna to spare so the speed boost gives you super strength too. The trick to clearing both levels is to ignore eggs and lizards. hoop any obstical with a small jump. don't jump too high as it takes from your speed. Use the speed burst with super strength to buts large dinos out of your way. And jump into the claws of every dactyl you can. you should be able to beat both levels then.. the bronto egg is at the end of beyond apocolypse
P.S You can jump forward from a dactyls claw if you press up and forward before he drops you. THis is a good technique for getting teh 4x dactyl chain gold trophy, which I did on insane planet D.

I beat insane challenge,now the music changed!
Now its the music from beyond apocalypse. Is there any way to change the music back? It isnt as fun without the energetic music.
I'm probably an idiot for asking, but I don't see any rules against it so...

@Reven: for fish the forest o fun level(keep at the bottom of the cave when you see trees)(the bigger ones not the small dead ones)and for worms and birds.........i have no idea

It's on an underground platform on lvl 3. Since the levels are randomly generated from a certain set of landscapes, you wont see it every time running through level 3. Just keep looking for it. I think the rinch egg landscape does also show up on certain speedruns, but i cant remeber which ones. btw, you better have your jump skill maxed out, and the super jump upgrade would also be helpful. Anyway, it can be done without when timed properly.
How to unlock planetD:
complete insane mode.There is a final level called "Beyond Apocolipse"the end is a surprize and the Bronto egg can be found there(and unlocks planetD and a new object on screen.)
The background usually freezes and some sparkly things appear and the screen doesn't move along with the dinosaur anymore!
I just finished this game completely and if anyone needs to know anything, you can just ask
I know how to get all of the animals eaten, i have hints for insane mode, i know where all the eggs are, (except maybe for the giga egg, i cant remember where i found that one...) i can give you hints on to get all the gold trophies, etc, etc.
so go ahead and email me and i will work on getting the location of the giga egg.

Well if you find a worm and it digs before you get it press space and the worm comes up then goodnight worm (You eat him)

just an idea but i think the dinos in the end of game cave aren't just for design...
3 tips. 1. the diplod egg is in the apocalsypse valcano. 2. u can get the last trophy (the one in the bottom right corner) by finding the tiny thing in a tiny cave. 3. turn on all the cheats and go on insane mode. jump off the edge of the apocalypse valcano. now enjoy ur flying fun!

I found the alien egg in a multiplayer race lol
I found an alien egg inside a huge smokey boulder! It was a real hard one to find! I found a Iguano egg near some triceratops in a cave! There is also a big nest up high with one in it too!!!
You save dinos, I think by running into them when you got the:
Strength flower!
NOT THE LIZARDS OR CRITTERS!
I can ride a yellow dinosaur which you cannot kill!
LOL!
Can someone please explain where to get the giga egg? Its the only egg other than the bronto egg that I don't have and I've looked everywhere and cannot find it! Thanks much
Hey, I found a way to play Dino Run on autopilot! :lol: - This definitely works on Windows (all versions, I'm guessing), and may work on other OSes...
1) Open Dino Run in a browser while any other window is open.
2) Start any level of Dino Run (e.g., Challenge.)
3) Start running to the right - holding down the right arrow key, of course.
4) While holding down the right arrow key, task-switch away from your browser (e.g., Alt+Tab) to the other window.
If you've done this right, your little dino will just keep on running! You can now watch the window in the background to monitor his progress while you, er... do work, or websurf, or play another game ;) ...
Of course, it's not foolproof:
1) At the end of each level, you'll need to activate your browser, hit Space, start him running, and then switch away again.
2) Your dino will get caught in several places (pit traps, on branches, under the tail of the dino in the tar pit, etc.,) and you'll need to switch back and make him jump to escape the trap.
3) Of course, your time will not be stellar without jumping or anything ;) ... the Wall O' Death will certainly destroy him unless (1) your dino is way overpowered for the level, or (2) you're using the "no wall of death" cheat.
Why is this useful? Several reasons:
1) If you want to explore a later level, you can turn on the "no wall" cheat and use this to skip to the level of your choice without having to play through the preceding ones.
2) You can use this on an easy level without cheats in order to earn DNA and bones without any effort. ;)

Aaaarrrrhhh!
Playing Insane in the Twin Peaks. Died 20+ times. Finally got it to the paradise entrance on the 25th-ish time. Just about to release my breath, a dino or lava ball bumped into me, and I got pushed into the cave wall. Yes, I saw that paradise just on the right edge of the screen. My dino is stuck. No way to go, and booooooom, darkness, and distinction!
:( :( :( :(
I don't like this glitch.

Who knows what that worm thing is in the volcano? I got a trophy saying "You got him!"
What does this mean?
MD: I'm right there with you, man. The only things I have left to do (besides some random achievements) are Challenge on Insane, and Twin Peaks on Insane. I've beaten everything else, but I must've died at *least* 20 times on Twin Peaks without any luck.
It's kind of stupid - beating these last two levels just involves a consistent run of very good luck. I must've caught about 15 pterodactyls on my last run on Twin Peaks, and with very few mistakes or stops along the way - yet I still didn't make it.
I'm actually just starting to get sick of trying these two levels, and may give up entirely. I just don't have much time to waste on trying to catch that 16th pterodactyl on the same level...

at the end is a shelter.if you enabled low gravity AND mega jump, you can jump out of the safety zone and colect all the rest of what you need.

you got that trophy by finding that worm thing in the game. it's a hidden worm that you need to find to get the trophy.
Omg i didn't see the egg in the vilcano cuz i went to the left! Lol i missed it. Also in the second level there is the first part where you fall realy far down, and theres the super egg on the bottom of the first drop.
I know where the alien egg is but when I get it and finish the game I go and check the stats and the egg is not there I need help!

sorry for the double post but sofie all you have to to is go into options, then cheats and mods, and finaly put in the cheat and click its name. It should go from green to a light blue with an egg beside it. Hope this helps!

I've found that Rainin' Lizards will give you 8-9 DNA points per run, if you do one thing: hold down while you run through the level (I ran it on Easy). You'll start racking up awards for the runners, lizards and worms in no time, plus you'll get DNA points like crazy, because you're trampling over eggs and lizards.

So I've gotten every egg and recieved gold trophies for every milestone, but I just can't quite get the gold crown. I've beaten every speedrun on insane except Twin Peaks and Death Crater and it's driving me insane. Any tips?

p.s.s. For those who need DNA, use raining lizards! A lot! And get enough to get you through a medium challenge (and get to pardise!) after doing that 1 or 2 times, you most likely will get 500 or more (I got 800) DNA.
If someone wants a gold medal for doomsurf (1 min doomsurf) do bombs away on easy. I got a 88 sec doomsurf with maxed accel and...two speed.
How do you ENTER cheats?? I play on Newgrounds if tht helps...
