i can only find 3 peices of the gong I'm missing the upper right peice if anyone can help? I found the one in the pond and now i'm stumped.

amy, are you sure you have level 3 of farming? Be sure you have a villager set on their master skill in detail before you drop them in the pond. I don't know what else could be wrong.

All my Builders are in green, I dress each profession in the same colour outfit. I find it easier to drag them to their assignment when they slack off. Can't re-dress Kids or Nursing Moms.

Well I've got all the gong pieces and have been playing for a few weeks. Only need a few pieces of the collections. It seemed that everything was done and getting pretty boring. Then today, they had a day of celebration and all 95 of them are walking up and down the beach whistling. Its kind of weird actually. Now I can't wait for them to get in a raft and explore the south side of the island. I wonder if they come back? I hope there are more surprises that make it worth continuing to check on these self sufficient little guys.

Well i finally got the beetles, shells and the stones..still on the lookout for the last butterfly..

But now what im doing since i have a ridiculous amount of food and tech points is im trying to pair up the parents to see what kind of kids i get..im coming up w/ new ones all the time...they are so darn cute..just got my first one w/ long blk hair and a grey streak..so cute

pvaldez, Built a dam. Flood the dry patch. You need level 2 of engineering first.

I have all the puzzles done. I have the flutterby collection done. The gong is done.

How do you get them to ring the gong? I got it rang once when it was finished, but now when I put someone there they just admire the casing.

I have everything done except 3 bugs and a butterfly. You can only ring the gong every 24 hours(it will glitter when able to ring it.) It will tell you what the gong did at the bottom of the screen(sometimes it's not good)I have 50 totems and that must be the limit because I have 4 or 5 other villagers with 3 masters but they don't turn into elders.

How do you get the last gong piece. I got one out of a box one out of the pond. where is the fourth?

I have lost so many villagers but I still have a lot I have algea in the water so it is hard to keep food. I need 90,000 to get the special fish. What can I do too get more tech points. I have level 2 of science.

Hi how many houses does everyone have? I have 3 (built 2 and repaired 1)everytime I pair up 2 people it says I dont have enough housing to support anymore, nearly finished the game I am only waiting on 1 bug so is that why i cant get them to "go indoors"?

I finished the game but was letting it run to get totems. Well I am quiting now. I was cheated. I got another esteemed elder, number 9, but no totem.

Another thing that happened twice. There is a new tomb stone and the name on it is someone that is still walking around. Like I said that happened 2 times now. So I quit for good.

Lorna, I have five huts and a hospital. Not counting the research hut. Be sure you have level 3 in all techs.The base for new huts shows up when you finish certain things.

Lorna, I built 5 including the hospital. 3 plain small huts and One for the clothes changing and the hospital. I guess you are missing something. Pick up a builder and carry him/her around and watch what the game says at the bottom. How many people do you have? I now have 117.

How do I get the scarecrow?

Has anyone else had their village's children line up in formation and it says they are "attending classes,"? I don't know how I did it. They were all sitting around to "listent to a story," and I was trying to have a couple of adults "go indoors," very near the fire where the story telling occurs. When the children lined up in 2 single file lines and they were "attending lessons." can anyone tell me anything about this?

to ring the gong more then once a day...just change date on your puter...but beware good and bad happens..i finished the game ..got bored..so now i come back every few days and change the date several times to spice it up a bit

To get the 4th gong on the mosaic, do I have to have a certain level of tech? I dropped my totem on the mosaic and it did nothing. Thanks!

Obie: in this game they do rename some of the people that are born...are you sure thats not what happened?

Careful with the stews (I've finished the game so yay) - three black vine herbs in one stew managed to kill (with two times eaten) and halfway kill (once eaten) several villagers.
Two of the purple flowers above and to the left of the cemetary and one orange flower from the left middle of the bottom of the screen is always good (you should see a rainbow when you make it correctly).

Emorada , after you finish the dam take an adept or master farmer to the roots looking stuff left of the cemetary.(not the thorny patch) It takes 2 trips.

AMBER RAY , Did you clear the thorny patch? Did you clear the mosaic? They are first.

I need a stew that will kill off some of my adults. I only have 2 kids. I have all but 1 of each collection. I have the gong, all the puzzles complete. I can't get over 90 population till I find the last of each pebble, beetle, shell, & butterfly.

Hey Guys, iv been playing for about a week...i have level 2 of everything, but i wanna know two things, 1st: how can i get Tech points Faster? i have 30 000 but im trying to get the 3rd Cultural Tech. and the 3rd in Engeneering, so i can clear the Mosiac.
2nd: For some strange reason, ALL my Villagers seem to wanna mate, i already have 63 and just yesterday mourning i only had lik 20, cuz theyr like rabbits! its weird:P Any suggestions on what i should do tho, for the Tech points?

Is ther anything I can do to get items to show up that aren't all duplicates? I have 16 out of 16 puzzles, 8 totem poles, 4 out of 4 gong pieces, 2 sets of triplets birthed, lots of twins. I need 1 more beetle, flutterby, & shell... Its driving me crazy.

Virtuallyinneed: Check on your details button for the villagers and see if any are in Parenting carrers. If they are, switch them. The only way I can think of to get tech points faster is to put ALL villagers at the research table, or put your game on high speed through the options. I can't think of anything else for that.

jessica: everyone works at their own pace. Most people have done more in a week than that. If you want to get going faster on your game, read the posts above and see if there is anything you can do.
growing villagers, I think that means babies? If so, just put a woman on a man villager. You don't have to wait for them to go to the "love shack", just keep putting them on each other until there is a baby. You can do this very fast.

Oh, never mind, the sewing hut popped up today. I just wonder why it took so long to come up after I bought level 2 in culture. :/

The Gong of Wonder just said it granted youth. NOthing happened, no change in ages, and I am at the max population, 95. Anyone know what this is about?

I'm a newbie! Ok in V1 I have found everything but the treasure. and in v2 I cant even start the fire it keeps telling me to get the dry grass but no one will I keep putting them up there any hints??

A quick trick for teck points. When you see a collectable pause the game with your space bar then get as many kids as you can on the object, then hit the space bar again. This should be done quickly the object will still disapear in pause mode. It doesnt work all the time and seems to work better on rare or uncommon ones.
The most kids ive seen get the collectable at the same time is 4 but still it bumps up your teck alot faster.

Carla, to make a master farmer without fishing you have to keep dropping a farmer on the garden space and they will plant crops or water the garden. This adds up to improvement.

Carla, the only way I got rid of a bad stew was to wait until it was gone. I don't know if there is another way.

Do you have to put a village up to the gong before you can ring it, or do they ring it on their own. I have tried for 2 days to ring the gong but I can't ring it. In the past I have just put a villager up to the gong and if the 24 hours is up they ring it...however...that's not working any longer.

I have completed the gong , 16 puzzles and have 3/4 collectables. Is there anything I can do to get the rest of the bettles. I only have 5:( Hint or suggetions would save my sanity!

Some of my villagers stopped learning, and the others learn much slower than they should too! what the heck?!
For exapmple I've got one, who is an adept builder since ten years, she is nery close to be master but she doesn't reach it, she is in the same level at research an farming too, but I can't make her to master any of them! I've got a treinee builder who is a treinee since 5 years and just refuse to upgrade to adept. And anyway, almost non of my people upgrades! What shall I do, my masters will die soon!

Rhiannon, all the beetles show up in the cut down thorny patch. The rare bettles (bottom row) are very hard to see they blend in with the flowers. Just keep watching for them.

I played with the system time becouse I didn't want to wait the time for the improvements. I shouldn't have: I reseted the clock, and it fooled the game: it made ridiculus farming times and my tribe almost starved to death. And what is even worse somehow it incresed the nursing time to about a year (not ingame, but real!). And since I had no children and all my fertile women were pregnant this meant the extinction of the tribe.
So I recommend strongly, do not bother the system time, becouse you may end up like me!
