Some prob here.. I just got the 4th video.. (after 786 on the tv) but how do i get out? I cant see an open door anywere :S

I played and completed Gateway 1, now doing Gateway 2 which appears to be the same as Gateway so far. I am in the 3rd room where u put batteries in the remote and use it to open the door. No matter where I stand or where i put the remote the door which isn't visible, won't open!!! I had no problem with this room in Gateway 1. What is wrong?????

i have a problem in gateway II, I already have the first videotape, but i can't get it in the tv, and everytime I try to use the tv it get's stuck, it just says "loading 0%".... can somebody help me with that, any ideas of what i'm doing wrong? I would appreciate your help.

christian - this sounds like a problem from way back when we first uploaded the entries from the competition, but it has been fixed since then. Where are you playing the game from? If you're using the links on this page, it should work for you fine.

However, to fix the problem, you can try emptying your browser's cache and reloading the game. It's possible one of the files (there are many to this game) was downloaded incompletely, and your browser is fetching that one from its cache rather than downloading a complete version.

Heh. There's actually a clue in the game as to who the player character is and what he is doing "there". It's quite well hidden.

Alright... I'v tried the red step floor thing like a dozen times with and without the walkthrough.
Can you just tell me the combo really clearly. And do i have to do it forwards and backwards too?

in the beginning where the one eye pops up in the hallway you stand under the lightbulb. look at the mirror (the one you should have picked up in the bathroom) notice how it glows take the mirror and drag it over to the eyeball you will blind it and the door will open.

What a wicked game. I did get stuck on some parts but I just used the walkthrough to help me!! When you see the ghost of the mum I was freaked out. At the end you need to plug the cable into the girl and the code is.......

Here is how to get the second tape:

In the room where you get the third tape, I tried to use all my items before I solved the puzzle, and every single item dissappeared from my inventory. I used the walktrhough here to get back to the tv-room and I thought I wouldn't need the items anymore, but then I realized that the 3rd tape dissappeared along with the others.. >.<

how come the code at the end is what it is??

I was a bit disturbed about having to torture that poor math guy. Why were the answers 24, 79, 163. Were there any clues to these numbers or did I miss them?

Very nice game indeed. The atmosphere is well built especially at the end. Robots instead of people have their contribution in it too. But please Anders what's this "well hidden clue" about player's character? Just can't wait to know XD

The easiest way of getting across the red bridge is by walking two squares forward and then one back. Repeate untill you're all the way over.
