Hint on 14

The answer you need already has two letters showing.

Reply

#12

this time it's not the position of letters in the alphabet, but it's ASCII code. Go to Word and use the insert symbol tool to convert ASCII to letters

Asny

how do I get a TypeKey identity?

Reply

Any hints for #35 (which one o you fit in?)

I can't seem to figure out what any of the houses are.

Reply

35

It relates to #34 and should be the ad in amazon box at the bottom. The houses have color schemes. Easy enough to match those. It's the "?" that'll get ya.

Reply

Asny, if you use the link in the text above the text box for your comment, you will be taken to a site that allows you to sign up, or to create a new TypeKey account.

There is a year in the title.

The names on the page are other types of this.

The one that happened on that date is not on that list.

21

Don't focus too hard on the meaning.

Focus on the words.

You would get the same result if it read "the hero had shot the villain

You need the end of something, or the last of something.

Trust me, you'll punch yourself in the face with this one.

Reply

Done! On #83, do the math, insert words, google... and you are on your way. Should be home free from there. And go looking for the extra puzzle at the end. :)

7, should be easiest.

23, solving some of the other words should help. It's such a common extension that you've been looking at it this whole time.

On 9:

Have you read the page source very carefully?

Reply

For 84

If you did a google search for the first phrase, make sure to do it in quotes, you'd have it.

The title of the page should help too.

I guessed it right away because I've read the book.

Reply

On #45 - I am stuck. I have looked at all the source code files and I have tried every possible combination of the words that are in the source files.

Can someone provide a bit more help besides "looking at the source code"? I have done that but it just doesn't work.

Thanks!

Reply

This is a really silly question, but I'm apparently unable to view the source on the first puzzle. In fact, I can't view the source on JIG (or ANY site for that matter). What's going on with my computer?

Reply

Sign me up as feeling stupid. I cannot figure out #45. I've looked at source codes for everything, I get the joke, I'm sure that I understand the concept, but I'm just not entering the correct text.

Tricky. You have to actually type the name of each country referenced into the url bar, it gives you further clues.

56

This one you don't have to get too far. The numbers have a primer or cipher at the bottom. Translate that word. Once you know what that is, apply that to each number. The results are in another numeric language that relates to letters. Once you get the first few done, you can google one line and get the answer. It does take a long time.

To Wory, I don't believe in just blurting out the answers, I'm spoon feeding them enough as it is. ;)
