Any help for 6-11 Ivy Courtyards? I get stuck in the third room, I can't figure out the star or how to get out or anything.

It's happened again, I've figured it out now! I'm going to wait three days before my next request for a hint :)

9-13: Assuming this is where you're stuck: the ball doesn't down all the way to the end.

Hrm, this game doesn't play well with browser crashes. Just lost a good chunk of progress into 9 and 10. Oh, well.

Reply

Can't wait three days. 8-12 has me completely stuck. I can get in the main room with the key pressed against the one-way thingy going up, but then I'm stuffed as that bomb prevents me from moving it. How do you get the key in without it getting stuck?

Reply

tchakkazulu, that much I figured out. I believe it has to go to the right, but I haven't figured out how to arrange the Cyads so that happens.

Reply

icvotria, go up and trigger the green switch. It will remove a block and then you can position a Cyad via the diagonal arrow.

Reply

Bantry

send both cyads round before knocking the ball, that way you can get one of them into the bottom hole and knock the ball down and across with t'other

Reply

I still can't see it. I don't get how you get the key out without having two cyads to hide in the little cubby holes and push it out, and I can't figure out how to get away from the green switch with only one cyad out of the left bit.

Reply

icvotria, after you have pushed the key up against the arrow path, BOTH Cyads have to go up so one can hit the switch and the other enables that one to exit without hitting the bomb. Both will exit so you can get one back up to where the diagonal arrow is. The arrow will send it down below the key next to the bomb.

Reply

icvotria, I get taking both Cyads around so one can go it the bottom hole, but after knocking the ball down how do you get it to the right? Knocking it left doesn't accomplish anything.

I take that back. Just saw it. Doh!

Still stuck, but it's in a new place now! Can't believe I didn't think of going back to the arrow. I'm stuck with the ball positioned under the teleporter, one space above the gap, but I can't figure out how to get a cyad under it.

Reply

icvotria, I made the same mistake. The ball does NOT go through the teleport.

Aaaaaaa thank you, it is done

Reply

6-9 blue cow, i can get both cyads in the top room and down to the bottom with the ball, but after that i'm lost. i need help with what to do in the bottom two rooms.

Reply

Albert,

When you get into the top half of the lower room, send a cyad into the bottom left corner and knock the ball into it. Then send a cyad down into the lower room, and knock the ball to the left with the other cyad to get it over the gap and into the bottom room. Then send the cyad against the switch home, and go up and over the ball with the other, knock it down and you're away

FINALLY solved 9-15. Took long enough.

Bantry, if you're still stuck there, and can't get into those three rooms at all: see that movable block on the left side? Yes, it's that kind of level.

If you have trouble with any of the three rooms in particular, then I'm not sure what kind of hint to give.

Reply

tchakkazulu, Thanks. I can tell this one is going to take some trial and error to figure out. At least now I know I need to use the pushblock to access the rooms.

Reply

I still have left:
9-10 Key Chaos - haven't even been able to get a start on that one;
9-12 Green Temple - almost had it but 2nd cyad was poorly positioned for final
9-14 Potpourri - haven't tried, too much thinking
9-15 Gemstone Mines - same complaint as others, will use the pushblock next try
10-3 The Sculptor - too too much thinking
10-9 Trio Labyrinth - can't even get three cyads out of bottom left corner
10-11 through 10-15 Haven't really made an honest try at any of them.

Just trying to plod along and not ragequit. Any hints on the above would be appreciated, like tchakk's 'use the left pushblock on the right side'. I'll figure it out from there.

Reply

Stachey, how did you solve 10-7 Totem Pole? I keep getting my Cyads stuck going in circles.

Reply

Stachey on 9-10 Key Chaos

you have to use the green key to position the Cyads to move the yellow key down. Then go get the red key out and up. Use it to access the blue key and get it out. I ended up pushing Blue, Green and finally Red against the vertical wall directly above the Blue lock. Hope those hints help.

Reply

Bantry, On 10-7) Totem Pole

The push blocks are moved down as soon as they hit the middle corridor.

First pair

yellow's block came out first, green popped the sticky then moved its block against yellow's, Yellow up onto the sticky, green next and down.

Second pair

Yellow's block out first again, green pops second sticky and brings its block out against yellow's, then up, yellow against green cyad, then move green around behind yellow's block and both down

Final Room

Both cyads are against the one way blocks. Green (left) gets to go first this time since they switched positions with the second pair. Bring the pushblock out, then use the temp block to get above the pushblock, down, and right against the yellow cyad. Green now goes up and right into the sticky.

Yellow moves the right block against the side of the one-way, then using green as a block, moves the pushblock down. Green now leaves the sticky and goes right, Yellow pops up and acts as a block so that green can push the block against the left one. Green now goes right and up, yellow comes down, green goes left, yellow pops up again, green comes right and stops over the right pushblock. It then pushes it down and comes back up on the right of the last pushblock. Yellow (against the top) goes left, down, right and up. Green now goes right, up, and left against yellow and pushes that pushblock down then comes up again. Since the pushblocks are now gone, you can work counterclockwise to get both cyads over the one-ways.

Hope that helps

Reply

Or should I have just said, "At the top, the left pushblock comes out first but goes down last"?

Reply

Thanks for the hint, Bantry. Only a couple of restarts once I figured out the sequence.

Reply

When is it too much?
Last night I was watching TV and wanted a glass of wine. I figured out that if my wife went across the room, I went right against the TV, and she came back to block that would allow me to hit the dining room table, then left against the altar table and up against the archway. Then my wife could go up against the other side of the arch and allow me to stop against her and then left into the kitchen. That might be too much.

Ok, I'm at the end of 9-12) Green Temple. My setup is:

The final key and cyads are in the middle part. I still have one temp block. The group is on the left side with one cyad behind the key and one on top of it.
o=Open space, G=Gate, W=wall, C=cyad, K=last key
WWGWW
oooooooo
oooooCoWW
oXoooKCWW
WWoWWWWWW

I think that I need to get a cyad down in the hole below the gate before I push the key over and then get the pushing cyad up on top against the block that disappears when the last gate is opened so that the rest of the stars can be gathered but I can't seem to get there with the wall layout.

Any suggestions?

Reply

The group is on the RIGHT side, you know, the other left. X=temp block.

Reply

Stachey 9-12 Green Temple

Didn't really understand your set-up so here's what I did. Position the two outer keys on either side of the center horizontal wall, same level on each end. Push the left one up into the lock FIRST. Now go get the center key and take it up the like you did with the key on the left and position it below the below the center lock up against the inner dissolver.

Collect the gems on the right and then push the key on the right up into the lock and go get the gems on the left. This opens the way for the center key to go into the lock. You'll do a little round and round to get a Cyad below the key, but that is pretty straightforward. A little more round and round and you can get the second Cyad into the upper level also to collect the stars on the outer walls.

Hope that helps.

Reply

That's about where I am, Banfry, but now I have the key below the gate, a cyad on the inverted T structure below it, and a cyad that I can't seem to get into the top area regardless of how may times I go round and round.

need help with 7-14 and 7-15.

Reply

Albert, 7-14) Shoot Switches 3 is just moving around, collecting laser charges, hitting S for slow action, and then shooting through the green X window to activate the switches.

First the top switch, then the middle switch three times and then the bottom. You have to have the yellow cyad on the correct side when you shoot (at the bottom for the first switch, at the top for the first shooting of the 2nd switch, then shoot the switch to open the bar, then yellow goes down, then hit the middle switch a third time to close the bar again, then stay there while you shoot the bottom switch to collect the gem, then again to release the yellow cyad).
REMEMBER to take the red cyad over to the right after all the gems are collected to block the yellow from going through the yellow gate. Yellow needs to help red get out, then can exit stage right.

Reply

There are quite a few hints and suggestions about 7-15 already on this comment page.

Reply

Banfry, I got it. When you push the final key into the gate, you don't go through it, you stop on the bottom of the gate. Then I was able to work my way around to get the stars. Thanks

Stachey help me with 7-14, my problem is that after i get all the gems the red cyad is on one side and the yellow is on the other. How do i get the red and the yellow cyads together and pass the "filters".

Reply

Albert

Red has to come to the lower right area. It can't pass through the yellow filter, so get the yellow out of the way, run the red around counterclockwise to end up on top of the yellow filter, then yellow comes down on top of red, right, down and then both go over to the left to let red escape. Then yellow goes back to the right and exits.

Albert you need to use the ball to get both Cyads into all three rooms. Remember that when you hit the ball with a Cyad the Cyad stops upon contact.

Reply

Bantry, I was playing with 10-12 Iced Gems and noticed that when you get all the blue gems, a wall in the first room disappears.

I wonder if the 'trick' is to put off moving the key until you have some help, like the single space push block in the third room

Reply

New thoughts on 10-12 Iced Gems

The single move block in room three can't be used other than that room, since it's against the wall. However removing the red gems in that room opens up another niche in the second room that is useful. And getting all the green gems in the 4th room opens up a niche in the 3rd room that is useful.

However, once in the 2nd room, I can't see how to get both cyads back into the first room to move the key. Ditto on getting back from the 4th room to the 3rd room. I need two additional cyads.

Reply

Stachey I'm impressed you got both Cyads out of the first room. How did you accomplish that feat?

Reply

To get both cyads out of the room I had to move the key out of the way.

Green down the hole by the door, red pushes key to orange block then trips around to upper right corner, green pushes key up to red. Both reset with one in line with chute to door, the other back down in the hole by the door (clear the orange gems on top of the chute). Cyad down the chute, other cyad up, break temp block, left, down, left (orange block disappears), right, up against the cyad in front of where the orange block used to be, left and then up into the chute.

The problem I ran into right away was

I couldn't get back up behind the key with a single cyad, If I left the one cyad against the right wall, one space above the bottom row of gems to act as a block for the key, the other one couldn't get behind the key, whether or not the orange block was broken.

I might note that it seems like you have to go ahead of the key with the cyads to clear the way (like gathering gems and making corner blocks disappear).

Reply

Ok, I was able to get behind the key

by bumping up against the side of the one-way, then against the key, up, and right. That left me with cyads on top and below the key with the key in front of the exitway. I could get the top cyad into the chute if the blue block was out of the way but I can't get the blue gems with only one cyad.

Reply

Stachey, push the key into the 2nd room and take it around and down on top of the arrows and use it to get a Cyad at the blue gems. Once they're gone the blue block in the 1st room disappears allowing you to get both Cyads to the 2nd room. That's as far as I've gotten. Still working on the rest.

Reply

That was the trick, Bantry. Making judicious use of the temp blocks and the single-move block I was able to get the key into the gate. Then it was just a matter of getting the last cyad into the last room but I messed up with the push block (stuck in the lower right corner) so I couldn't align with the missing green block.

Reply

Yes, I'm having similar issues. Once the key goes in the lock it causes that gray bloack to appear blocking access to the 4th room. Looks like a Cyad has to go in first then the other pushes the key in.

Reply

still stuck on 8-9. how do i get the ball in position for the ruby's in the 3x3 section on the right side?

Reply

Bantry, one cyad can clear out the green gems (while the gate is still there) and get back to the third room.

Left to the gate, down for a gem, up for another, then left, up, right, down on top of the gate, left, down for the final gem, up, left, down, right, up, left, down on top of the temp block, right out of the room.

Now I have to figure out where to position the single move block for the end game.

Reply

Stachey, I figured that out too. Being trying for the last hour to see how to get the Cyads lined up to get them both into the last room with the key.

Reply

Albert, you have to set up the ball before you go into the 2nd (5x5) room.

It should be just BELOW the entrance to the 5x5 room with a cyad just below it (use the small left room to set that up) and one above it. Top cyad goes into the 2nd room, bottom cyad now goes around and hits the ball from the top, stopping there and going into the room.

The ball should be on the bottom wall now. Get one cyad over to the bottom right round-about corridor and pop up into the main bottom corridor on the left side of the round-about to stop the ball. Once the left cyad pushes the ball against the right cyad, the right cyad then ducks down into the round-about and the left cyad comes right, hits the ball, and stops below the corridor to the left of the 3x3 with the ball going to the right wall. Left cyad now goes to the upper right corner, bottom cyad hits ball against the upper right cyad and goes left into the 3x3 room. The top cyad now goes counter clockwise, hits the ball and stops at the entrance to the 3x3 room, goes in and helps finish off the middle gem.

tchakkazulu have you solved 10-12 Iced Gems? If so, how do you do the 3rd and 4th rooms? Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Reply

Tchakk, I've been playing with that one. In fact, I had to transfer the 'bats' and roof line and stuff to a spreadsheet grid so I can visualize the moves. I assume that you need to get the ball down, pop the bomb, and then 'ring the bell' switch. Just need to find the path through. Maybe you have to get the gems first. Haven't found the path.

Reply

Stachey haven't gone to your extremes of putting it on paper, but I have been going round and round searching for the correct path also. No luck yet. Like most solutions it's probably relatively simple once we figure it out.

Reply
tchakkazulu December 22, 2012 8:43 AM

About 10-14:

I figured you need to use the ball to knock out the mine in front of the "doorbell" by first placing a Cyad on a tombstone, then knock the ball on the Cyad, then put both Cyads on another tombstone and knocking the ball to the right.

The second tombstone (first one that says RIP) is accessible to a solo Cyad, but I haven't found out what tombstone to use for the Cyad+ball combo. And I don't exactly when to get the gems underground either. I think both buttons at least are reachable without touching the ball.

About 10-12:

Did you manage to pick up the gems in the fourth room (needs only one Cyad, will use up the dissolver in going back), and get the Cyad back to the third room? If so, positition the key in front of the passage to the fourth room, with the Cyads directly above and below.

Move the lower Cyad right->up->right, and push the pushstop all the way to the bottom. Move it through both one-way walls, and leave it at the top. Do the same with the Cyad on top, until it bumps into the bottom of the other Cyad. Repeat *again* with the top Cyad, and "stack-walk" both of them down until one Cyad is aligned with the key, and the other is aligned with the block that disappeared after picking the gems in room 4. I think you can figure it out from here on.

Reply

tchakkazulu, thanks for your help with Iced Gems. Serious 'Doh' moment when I realized how simple it was to position the Cyads to move the key and get to the exit.

Woot, that did it. Thanks Tchakk. Now back to the Gemstone Mines.

Also, if anyone has a hint for 10-9) Trio Labyrinth I can't even get more than one cyad out of the first room.

Reply
tchakkazulu December 22, 2012 10:57 AM

10-14:

As I suspected earlier, the headstones do the trick, though initially I was wrong about which headstone to use. Put a Cyad-ball tower on the second headstone, and then the Cyad-Cyad tower on the first.

I pushed the switches while moving the ball around, and grabbed the gems after ringing the bell.

10-9:

Can you get all three Cyads out of the little 3x3 starting area? If not, here's how you do it: Move the middle Cyad up->right->down->right, and follow with one of the other two. With that one, proceed up->left. Move the Cyad under the mine to the left, and keep it there. The "follower"-Cyad goes right->up->left->up->right->down. You can now retrieve the third Cyad, and exit the first room with two of them.

Good luck!

icvotria, for 9-3 the center Cyad ALWAYS stays on the same level only moving left and right so the other Cyads can move left, right, up and down. They will eventually end up one level above the center (blue) Cyad and then bump into each other. Using this method you can then 'walk' them across the space until they can access the stars. jiffypop: You'll have to open the key holes with two separate sets of moves, don't be hasty; or, to be more specific,

1- Push the yellow key to rest on top of the green lock. 2- Clear the green lock. 3- Place one Cyad (3 blocks) below yellow lock, the other on its immediate right. 4- Now one Cyad can reach the yellow key, the other Cyad is ready to go up to the exit afterwards.

This level had me stumbled for a few days, hope this helps.

I just have 10-15 left. Freed Cyad #2, and am now in the right part of the top-right area, where I can't figure out how to push the key into the keyhole. I may have screwed up with the movable blocks already.

I solved 10-3 through experimentation, mostly.

Since you can only move through the top and bottom row if there's still a block left on the middle row, keep the left- and rightmost blocks of the middle row around as long as you can. Also keep a way around of going back to the middle row

There are some previous posts about the first bit of 10-12 and 10-14. For the latter: you're mostly correct, though there are still parts on which you can get stuck.

Esprit Fort December 25, 2012 9:03 AM

tchakkazulu: Thanks! I've read through those but I'm still stuck in the first room of 10-12. How did you get all the yellow gems and move a Cyad to position in front of the middle aisle?

Shall try out 10-3 with that in mind.

10-15 upper right:
I guess you have the movable blocks at a position where you can bring the 2nd Cyad into the room. From there, the next step is pushing the key out, but note that

you need both the movable blocks free to move afterwards, one vertically, one horizontally. Then the Cyads are free to open the lock

Also, the blue sticky block is for

one of the movable blocks,

which ending position shall be

on the rightmost wall.

Hope this makes sense.. I guess you could figure the rest:)

Bantry: You mean its cell hasn't opened at all? Did you accidentally let one of the lasers destroy a gem? Checklist:

there are 15 red gems total. 5 horizontally below the laser (with a mine), 4 vertically in the room just past the laser room, 2 groups of 3 (one horizontal, one vertical) after the room with the key and keyhole.

If the cell is open, it's just a matter of

putting something between the opening and the mine. It's not like there aren't any freely movable objects just sitting around a couple of rooms earlier

Reply

tchakkazulu, are you saying that the gems should not be collected? I also used a ball to destroy a mine, is that a no-no? Plus I figured out moving the mirror to facilitate moving the Cyad.

What did I miss on 9-15) Gemstone Mines? Was I supposed to save the laser for that very last room? If so, that will make the last room on the right tricky.

Grizix, I had the same dilemma until I threw caution to the wind and sent one cyad over to the switch. That's your solution.

Reply

I did that, and ended with the two movable blocks down, and no mean to exit the room ...

For 9-15, yes, you have to keep the laser for the treasure room, and I'm searching how to clean the last room to the right without using the laser. Do I need the block or should I left it over the second room ?

Reply
Esprit Fort December 27, 2012 9:43 AM

Stachey, you're right, in 9-15 after you've got into the 4x4 area, the only option is to laser out; therefore the laser must be saved until that.

If I recall correctly, I worked my way back from the yellow gem (next to the bomb) as that happened to be the spot with most trouble. Then by eliminating the impossible moves, it will be certain that there is only one way to get the laser and then get out to gather some of the gems on the way.

Reply
Esprit Fort December 27, 2012 9:47 AM

Grizix, the red movable block is needed, as you'll need both Cyads down in the pit to collect the laser and the gems.

Reply
Esprit Fort December 27, 2012 9:52 AM

Grizix, (as Stachey pointed out) did you try to hit the rightmost red switch? This opens up a possibility for the Cyad to leave the 2nd room.
