Here's one for the TV Room, the only room i found hard
IGNORE THE STATIC CHANNELS
All that you have to do is see the rooms that the orange guy is going through. It ends when he goes to sleep in that room. Record the channels on the TV that they are. Then, you get an almost complete code for the keypad. There is one channel that the guy is not in that does not have static. Put that at the beginning of the code and enter it. continue on to the lightbulb and final room)
I beat this game w/o cheating! I'm so proud.
On the last level. The blinking light counts for how many colors after the blank.
So if it blinks once, stand on the spot once. blinks 4 times, make it the 4th color.
I looove this game, plz make another. Every puzzle was amazing
i've done the pearl thing but some of the steps don't rise up enought for me to use them and i can't get onto the first step anyway. I have put the huge pearl on box one, large pearl on box two, etc. could somebody tell me what i'm doing wrong?

victoria, that won't work, because you have to:
each box affects a step. the boxes don't necisarily affect the step corresponding to their order. does that help?
i was stuck in the light bulb part but finally made it.
the peeper part was actually 739339 written cleverly. i love it. have to drag the power cord with the extension cord to the outlet.
i love it especially the peeper part. not bec. of the peeping but because of the secret message there.

if the lightbulb flashes 1 then step on it 1
if it flashes 2 step on it 2 ect
thats the only level i found tricky. hope it helps!

Great game! Thank you, Anders! I enjoyed the length, as I was able to solve in one sitting. Also, the puzzle difficulty was perfect: It took me some time, but I was able to solve each one without refering to hints.

Yes i finally beat the game!!! loved every minute of it.
Kudoooooo's...loved the game had alot of fun , what I couldn't solve my 10 yr old son did .lol
My kids and I loved the game a lot. Hope to see more like it soon.

I think you should take this game off the internet; it's impossible to get through level four with the color changing floor. I've tried five times even *with* walkthroughs and it's impossible.
Please disregard my last comment about dumping the game; I was frustrated over something else. But could someone PLEASE post a step by step walkthrough including how many times you have to go over the carpet to change the colors?

I've completed the game, as have thousands before you. Perhaps you're misunderstanding something about it?
If it's the level I think you're describing, all you need to do is duplicate the same color pattern on the floor as you see above the exit door.
Maybe this will help...
1) walk to the center
2) walk back and forth between the center square and the one that surrounds it until the center square is pink (like in the center square above the exit).
3) now do the same between the middle square and the outside square until the middle square is yellow (just like you see in the square above the exit).
4) now walk over to the exit along the outside square.
5) walk between the exit and the outside square until the outside square is green.
6) walk through the exit to the next level.

If you have problems matching the colors you might want to try the updated version of the game. It allows you to swap the colors for high contrast grey scale.

Please help. On the last puzzle with the bulb lights I encounter difficulty to apply the colors as written by William. Where do I walk first, by the upper circle ? I love the game but having a headache with the last one. (lol)
Not sure if this happens to everyone or if it happens every time but, I had all the pearls in my inventory and when i examined the largest, 4 of them disappeared. When I examined it again the last 2 disappeared. Leaving the room and coming back didn't help, so I had to restart. Didn't take long and I've completed the game, it was just a minor inconvenience that some people may freak out about.

ohyah, the ending quite disapointing! The best part is the 'peeper' and the tv code..great idea! Got a little shock during the peeping time..just stuck at the last level.

Wow! This is the first puzzle game I've managed to beat without hints (except for the Jinx games, and they don't really count). It kept me interested enough to keep trying, yet NOT so complex that I gave up in disgust. So what if the ending is low-key? The very fact that you GET to the ending makes it worthwhile.
Nice! I'm looking forward to the sequel.

i cant past the room of the planks
OK game, part II was much better but still this one was ok, I have to say that it was quit easy, I mean to go from the beginning to the room with the colored floor that's divided into pieces like a pizza or pie, but when I got there I was very stumped, then I got a clue that read
Enter the room and step on the first peice and then count the amount of times the bulb flicks above the panel, then take it from there
That was enough to get it after a few minutes, but I also liked it because it was a point and click game that took you out through more rooms that just one or two. I do believe that the makers of this game would really make a great Part III of this Gateway game, their first game Part I was pretty good, then Part II got much better and their third game should really be a charm. Keep em going, these games get the stress level of everyday life down and get your mind set only to finish this game with little or no help at all, work won't do that for you, well unless your job is making video games...

I know it's a long time since this was released, but I enjoyed Gateway 2 before getting to play Gateway 1.
I wanted to add:
The "PEEPER" clue was a brilliant puzzle. Simple, yes, but quite clever.
OMG this was sooooo short i played the 2nd one before i played this one and i thought it would be AS long but i was wrong but it was a great game. the peeper bit really scared me though!
the PEEPER part freaked me out when all of the sudden he was at the window.

Do you mean you cannot connect the TV cord to the extension cord? If so then
pick up the TV cord. The TV cord will then appear in your inventory along with the extension cord (if you've already collected the extension cord.). Click and drag the items in your inventory.

tv room was easy...just type in the code by the numbers on the tv...try to go in chronological order from when you see the yellow robot
in the level with the 2 standing planks and 2 lit up pieces of floor, what do you have to do, i tried all combinations.

okay i'm still at Ver.1
i get the first item in the first room with the arrow then i go into the next room that opens and i get the item on my left then i get the one in the little square room in the middle and the wall closes on me. what am i doing wrong?

everyone read the notes before because some one called lol has already answered all of your questions! so just read what lol worte and you can finish the game easily! also in what lol says cual is supoosed to say light blue!

Ok i finished the thing by using the spoiler on the last puzzle can someone tell why that was the combination? I mean i feel kind of empty with it done and not knowing why those colors were put in that order. How did you go about getting it in the end?

You may have noticed that the lightbulbs above each section blinked. If the light above a particular section blinks three times, then, you choose the third colour for that section.
