Platform fans are bound to enjoy Test Subject Green while puzzle lovers won't be punished for a lack of twitch reflexes. It's an excellent hybrid of the two genres made possible through the power of science, much like astronaut ice cream is a delicious fusion of strawberry, vanilla and chocolate. Aren't you glad we live in this modern world?

Level 21

It's all about waiting for the moving teleporter to line up. Level 21

Level 22

The large button has to be hit three times. Level 22

Level 23

Anyone know how to solve level 8?

I like how the professor got abducted(please don't kill him!) and this weird egg shaped head evil man came out(with panda eyes when he take off glasses) and start fiddling with the lab.

Abit like two stories play out in one screen.(Test subject and the lab...)

In a part of the review, you said Blue instead of Green. Just pointing it out.

[I think it's because you're still playing as T.S. Blue in Test Subject Green. -Jay]

Brilliant, loved this one and the first...

I hope we get to

be the ED-209 chap at the end in the next game,

but I've got a nasty feeling that

it's going to be the enemy instead...

*gulp*

Much more reflex based and less puzzles than the previous one. Still a good game, but it could be better :)

Normally I can't stand Nitrome's games. Something about the art style and just ticks me off. And oftentimes I find their gameplay and the controls to be lacking.

That said, I was impressed with the Test Subject games, and not at all because I actually liked something that came from Nitrome. The gameplay is excellent, the puzzles are very clever, and the story is quite well done.

The green enemies are definitely where the story kicked into high gear for me, especially the Mimic. Now THAT was scary!

Looking forward to the next game.

I've figured out Level 9!

Once you get to the second-last step, look at the smartguns' radars, and when they're pointing away from the last step, jump up to the top platform and JUMP your way to the finish. That way the smartguns can't get a lock on you.

I do not like (in both blue and green) that there is such a long pause between shooting and walking, and that you can't shoot and walk at the same time.

This game reminds me of Spewer from Newgrounds - both games feature a blob and scientists...but that's about as far as the similarities go (in Spewer, you, uh, spew to go to the next level).
Anyhow, I'm a great Nitrome fan (and I love jayisgames.com for the reviews, comments and walkthroughs) and I'd really recommend Spewer to anyone who enjoyed the lab surroundings, and scientists looking at their experimetns through windows. Check it out here: http://jayisgames.com/archives/2009/05/spewer.php
